This was my first time eating at Crazy Crab. The food was great, and the restaurant itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. Our server only checked on us when it was time to bring the bill. Throughout the meal, we were rarely acknowledged, and it didn't appear that the restaurant was busy enough to explain the lack of attention. She may have been having a bad day, and I understand that everyone has off days, but that doesn't excuse the poor level of service we received. I'm a server myself, so I understand how demanding the job can be. I always make an effort to tip because I know how important it is. However, this was one of the few times I genuinely felt that the service did not earn a gratuity. Overall, the food was very good, and the restaurant itself made a great first impression. It can seem speedy, yet, is your economics can switch to a per person charge, you will make the connection that it will be worthwhile. Me and my wife drive from Wenatchee every month or so to eat here. Absolutely frickin delicious. It's weird cause we've been to 4 crab boil type restaurants in Seattle and nothing compares to this. I even visited two in Louisiana. And still nothing tops this place. We get the feast for two and add King Crab usually we end up spending about $200 just the two us appetizers and drinks and the entree. The servers are attentive and respectful. We were craving a seafood boil for lunch and after some quick Google searches, we decided to give it a shot. The decor was right on theme, complete with a hand wash station, and they provided plastic bibs and gloves, which added to the fun of the seafood feast. Me and my family made our own fest it came out to $328 which I had no problem paying for the only thing that disappointed me was that the lobster tail and corn was over cooked and the lobster tail was so rubbery and the sausage wasn't that great either. LOVE this Mexican Restaurant!! This is not a southern crab boil or PNW crab restaurant. It is a restaurant with lively music and great selection of Mexican beverages. The service has always been fantastic. It is quite busy and there can be a wait to get a table. We order shrimp tacos and Crab boil, spicy. Stay away from fried food, it's frozen and thrown in a fryer. There are better spots for this type of food. The welcome soup, is a welcome. I find this offering, generous. If you don't like it, don't eat it, it's a welcome treat and not on your bill. We started coming to this restaurant in 2021 and have consistently experienced great crab boils and shrimp tacos. People wanted seafood so we found this place. I walk win and reminds me of a seafood boil spot with paper covering the table and it's about to get messy type feel. We were greeted and taken to a table. Out the blue were offered some shrimp soup....on the house. I didn't eat it but I was told it was not bad. They give you a couple Garlic Bread with the Shrimp Alfredo and I tasted it and it was ok. The Blackened Fish was good. The Seafood Boil I was told was good. I'll start off with that entering this place you will be hit with a strong smell. It can be a bit overwhelming but after a while you get use to it and it becomes non existent. The wait to be seated is long, I been there twice and both times we waited more than usual and there was more than plenty of empty tables. Also it is quite spendy and like more places group of six the tip is already included. Now, for the pro. This place is good for coming out with family or friends. It's fun and the staff are very friendly. It can get loud. Upon sitting down you get a small cup of shrimp soup. It's good but it would be even better with a little lime. The food was brought out in a timely manner. And everything I tried was good and flavorful. The fish and chips and the chicken strips and fries do come in these basket and it's more like your usual basket of fried food nothing to extraordinary but I supposed for the kiddos it's good. Man i was so disappointed this last time we went. It was my #1 favorite seafood spot. 1. The portions got way smaller than they were before 2. They didn't put sausage on our boil they forgot about it and on top of that when they brought to us it was so dry and salty asf I could bearly eat it. 3. Came by on a Monday night around 6pm for dinner and the place was pretty busy but we got seated right away. Moving from the Bay Area I was looking for a crawfish/cajun seafood to try. This review is not going to be comparing to the crawfish places in CA. I think that is an unfair comparison because you cannot compare apple to pear. Service: Customer services was good. The waitresses were attentive. Food: We ordered feast for one and the portion was decent for 1 person, maybe 2 people can eat. However, seafood was not fresh so there is a frozen chewy taste to all the meat. Seasoning was not really there, we got the people's favorite sauce choice. Because the seafood was lay out on a platter, they get cold fast. Chicken wings and fries were good. Ravioli was ok, not worth the cost. But then who would order ravioli at a seafood place. I ordered shrimp and rice bowl from the kid's menu and totally not worth the price. Overall, prices are pretty high for the quality food. Not sure if I would venture back any time soon. read more
