I had seen and heard so many recommendations of Scroggins Transport Service on social media and from acquaintances, I was glad he was available. Jason is that great combination of professional and friendly. As I approached his car, he immediately jumped out to help me in case my vision was at all impaired. I could actually see well enough not to be wobbly, but I appreciated his concern and actions. He drove me to the appointment, waited for me, and then drove me home. We had great conversations each way, and the price was actually more affordable than had I booked a separate Uber each way. The car was beautifully maintained, the ride was smooth, the communication setting up the appointment and letting me know he was on the way were all perfect. I told Jason I had been keeping an eye on his ads and social media posts for a while, knowing I was reaching a phase of life where family was no longer close by, and friends were not always available to help out with transportation if I couldn't drive myself. Of the many local drivers I've seen recommended on social media, I was impressed that Jason is open to driving clients to medical appointments and social events, not just airport destinations. It is important to me that Jason has commercial insurance and this is his full-time business -- many drivers are not as appropriately insured and may only be driving as a side gig. I honestly feel like a burden has been lifted off of me, knowing that I can turn to Jason for future medical or other appointments. Had he been in business when I was driving my elderly parents to doctors' appointments several times a week, I would have eagerly booked him for a few of those visits, knowing that my parents would have been given the assistance and caring attitude that Jason offers. Initially I…read morethought I'd made a bad call when I purchased the tickets because after buying them I saw so many reviews online saying how the flowers were already all gone, and how it's a waste of money for an Instagram photo shoot. But I didn't find that to be my experience at all. I do think that the ticket cost is pretty steep, but my husband and I had a really lovely experience here. There were still a lot of flowers in bloom when we went. I could tell that a lot had withered away at this point already, but I was still happy with what we were able to see. It did make a lovely backdrop for lots of cute photos, and I got plenty of enrichment being by so many beautiful flowers. We also spent over an hour picking our own blueberries. Since we went so late in the season, a lot of the good blueberries had already been picked, so there were slim pickings. It took a long time to gather two good basketfuls, but it was fun (and actually really tasty). Definitely another reason to go earlier in the season next time. It was a great place for a date, and we got lots of steps in while doing so many fun things like the sweet pea maze, watching the birds, and venturing out to find the sunflower field. I thought it would be a one-and-done, but we are actually looking forward to going back another year!

We paid $32.50 in cash for round trip tickets for 2 adults and 1 child, easily accessible via the vending machine and not too difficult to understand. The ride itself felt smooth and was a nice scenic route to see sights such as the Del Mar Racetrack and of course, the Pacific Ocean (be sure to sit on the right side for a better view). Seats were not too bad, even had rows facing sideways available and appeared clean. The train passengers seemed nice and I didn't feel too uneasy, it was a comfortable train ride, felt like we were coasting on the Coaster.
