We use La Costa Limousine for all our airport transportation. No need to use any other company. They are a first-class operation. Our last flight was diverted to another airport due to fog at San Diego. La Costa Limousine was there to greet us, but we couldn't get into the airport. They stayed in communication with us through the night to make sure we got home safely. We didn't get back to San Diego until 3:00 am. La Costa Limousine was there to meet us even after a long night. If it wasn't for our driver I would of left a lower rate. I was quoted a price and made sure several times no additional fees would be applied. I paid in full and then noticed another charge. I called to get it resolved or at least an explanation and was told I'd get a call back. I followed up 2 additional times and was promised a call back that never happened. La Costa Limousine was an incredibly disappointing service. I wanted to reserve a limo ride far in advance for my wedding. Their online service wouldn't let us get anything resembling a quote; instead it only allowed us to book the full service in advance. I resorted to many calls back and forth to get a quote and find the right service, their booking tool was confusing (we wanted a one way, 10 minute trip for 25 people, not hours of driving). Instead of getting a quote, we got an email from some manager saying that they promised to deliver on the one-way trip, and a PDF of the webpage. I did have ok experiences calling customer support to change the credit card they have on file. In general, I had little-to-zero wait getting ahold of La Costa Limousine by phone. Anyway, fast forward to the wedding. It's 15 minutes until the wedding party has to leave for the venue. A _five_ person SUV pulls up - not the 28 person limo bus that we ordered. The driver didn't check the paperwork, and showed up to the event with the wrong vehicle. He said it would take him one and a half hours to get the bigger limo, so my party had to scramble to find rides to show up on time. To the credit of the driver, he did take 10 people to the venue over two trips "for free". Further, he didn't wear a mask, when La Costa Limo ensured that he would wear one. After the wedding, we called La Costa Limo to express our dissatisfaction. They did give us a full refund and an apology, which we were grateful for. I will not use their service again. Getting information and guarantees from them was hard. Also, they didn't follow through with their word when it counted. I'm giving them two stars because, at the end of the day, we had a good wedding. read more

DO NOT USE LA COSTA LIMOUSINE - THEY FAILED OUR CONTRACT We hired La Costa limousine for a wedding Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party - to ferry guests from the LODGE at Torrey Pines to the rehearsal dinner at Eddie V's Restaurant in La Jolla. The company is poorly run and the night was a complete failure. We had a written detailed contract for two buses to ferry guests from hotel to Rehearsal Dinner and La Costa Limo failed us. They broke the contract when one bus left two hours early. I strongly urge you not to use this company as they ruined our night, the night before our son's wedding. La Costa did not follow the contract which we outlined in great detail and reviewed with La Costa Limo several times before the wedding. One bus left two hours prior to his contracted time without any warning. THE BUS WHO WAS CONTRACTED TO WORK 5:30 - 11:30 HAD LEFT AT 9:30. When I called to find out where the bus was to bring our guests back to the hotel, the driver told us he had already returned the bus and left for the night. When I asked him to come back he refused. It took dispatch TWO HOURS to get another bus back to the restaurant. We were forced to extend our time out at the restaurant. Finally, the remaining 50 guests and I waited outside the restaurant for the bus to return and take us back to the hotel. The bride and several guests had to uber back to the hotel. It was horrible and should not have happened. I am beyond disappointed in this company. They also said they'd refund us for their error and then barely gave us any money back. I highly encourage you to NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Ride was great. Driver was lovely. But there's a whole issue surrounding the fees associated with the ride. It's unclear when booking, like there's no price quoted when you book online. I called, confirmed $89, and was later told it was nearly double, about $180. Whatever, I paid it. But be warned about the ambiguity of the fees and bait and switch. read more

Once we hired a 32 passenger mini bus and the other time we hired their sprinter. Both times the driver was wonderful, didn't mind our requests to make frequent stops and the bus was immaculate. La Costa Limosine provides excellent service in stretched BMW 7000 series limos. Our driver, Heather, arrived a few minutes early and had the car in the driveway waiting for us. She was courteous, polite and accommodating. Excellent limo driver. The car was very plush, quiet and comfortable during the short ride from our house to the dining establishment along Carlsbad Blvd. She dropped us off right at the front door and was right there when we exited after a very nice anniversary dinner.
