Been here many times for the Sunday music and dancing, and never been intimidated by the appearance. The food is typical U.S. restaurant food, which, for me, means nothing really stands out except for the pizza. Once you get by the large hog and bull, you are greeted by a couple of Area 51 people. The decor is unique and different. Many items hang from the ceiling, including what looks like scale models of WW2 B24, B25, WW2 fighter planes, plus, what looks like a Vietnam era helicopter. A back wall has the front of a cab-over Freightliner attached to it. The walls are covered with country artists, past and present, along with the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard, including the Confederate Flag, which may offend some people, its history good or bad. The place even has The Fonze's Office with a picture of All In The Family cast. Too much to see to list, and never had an issue with the staff, but we try to behave ourselves and respect other people's property. read more

What a fun experience for lunch. The decorations are awesome and the server/bartender was very tentative to us. The drinks came fast and stayed full and the food came out fast and hot. The only downside I would say was the sauces wings needed to be more crispy as they where very blubbery. The pizza was good and the dry rub wings where great. read more

I am Mexican American love this country but the Dixie flags and ICE planes seem to suggest that it is a " Redneck" only establishment. Unfortunately when this place of business lets "patrons" behind its bar they can say whatever they want to customers. then have a bar manager who does nothing because it's a "half hour before before bar close so they don't want to start anything" even when a women is at the bar and is greeted with a sexual advance. Instead of dealing with the situation, they said "it's your word vs theirs." So the patron is right. Unbelievable Not to mention her first time there. read more

I have to give this place 2 stars, after a long day on working on the road we went to yelp for a place to eat with our pup.. I have to give credit where credit is due. It's a very clean venue and the people are very friendly, you can also bring your pup to enjoy the beautiful patio. The host was very friendly and on her game. Then the server came.. after sitting for quite a long time she made it over. We ordered the chicken pasta , fajita wrap and a chicken breast for my pup. Over priced for what you got. Food took forever, and once we got it the pasta was cold and very dry, my wrap was the wrong one and no food for my pup. The server was certain she was right about what I ordered until I told her I don't eat pork.. so I know I didn't order a wrap with bacon in it. I finally got my new wrap and it was made with a processed chicken mix that you'd find at the dollar store.. with a boat ton of lettuce.. yuck. My pup never got her meal. When waiting for the tab I had to go find the server to ask for it. This place has real potential. Simple fix... key to any successful restaurant is having a kitchen manager who knows how to make simple food without cutting corners, and train servers to either ask for help when needed or be more on top of things. Some friends dragged me along here and my was I in for a shock. I don't like country music and this surely isn't your place if you don't like it. Considering it has "redneck" right in the name, it sure lives up to that expectation. This is a redneck dive bar full of lots of rednecks! Even the decorations are out there. They usually have live bands which my friends love to see and plenty of swing dancing. There's a lot of food and drink options too. They won't let you in after 9pm if you are under 21 on the weekends. I can't say I'll be back here as I felt so out of place here but the locals seem to love this place! read more

Ordered take out and picked up the daily special (a smoked chicken dinner) and it was terrible! The chicken tasted old and it had fatty, grizzly pieces in it. Plus, there was barely any edible chicken! The gravy, white bread, lumpy mashed potatoes, and corn were ok. Live band was fun and played the classics, a few new ones, and a couple penned by the singer. This Saturday there were funnel clouds, warning sirens and it was raining so hard all the cars on our side had pulled over. We needed to find a place to wait out the storm, before pressing on down the road. My girlfriend calls to check that they're open. They guy on the phone replies "of course we're open, why the fuck wouldn't we be open?" As the rain slowed down enough that we could move again, albeit maximum 45 mph.. We weren't going anywhere near this place or the asshole in it, but the we started running into flooded roads and more monsoons and just up ahead was this place. We pulled in. We were hungry and really wanted to get out of the storm. Food: burger was dryer than mummies foot. Even with the bbq blue cheese, ketchup and finally my girlfriends coleslaw. Thank God I ordered it medium. Girlfriends wings were ok. Only beef with them is that they were pretty wet for dry-rubs. Drinks: Stella's - filled 2/3 with the female bartender, full when the bar back did them. Nice guy, great customer service. Diet Cokes, same as the Stella's. I know they were busy, but that's no excuse. Bartending is THE JOB. At least she kepted the whiskey glass as full as she kept her glass. And brother, could that woman drink! Anyway, $75 for a burger with wings and some drinks is spendy. Enough so, I asked for the itemized receipt. That kind of expense warrants a better experience and food. Rollie's serves "comfort food" at extremely reasonable prices. It's a place that brings in regulars daily and has a homey small town feeling to it. Although I have not been to Rollie's in years, I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Rollie's often has live performances from different bands, and we were lucky enough to come on a night where there was a band. The stage creates a lively and energetic atmosphere all around. I enjoyed seeing everyone dancing on the dance floor and having a great time. For those who aren't inclined to dancing, there are pool tables for customers to use as well. I ordered Rollie's World Famous Hot Beef ($9.95) which comes with a side of mashed potatoes. My date got the bacon cheeseburger ($7.95) with a side of fries (the fries are beer-battered). The hot beef is a sandwich that is absolutely smothered in gravy. The beef was thinly sliced and tender-soooo good. I could've done without the bread, but I thought the mashed potatoes were tasty. I will admit, I wasn't sure what method to use to dig in because it looked like a sandwich, but there was no way I could eat it with my hands because of the pile of gravy on top. I opted for cutting it, but it did not work well. My date liked his cheeseburger...nothing special for a burger though. Get the fries...you'll be happy that you did, trust me. Our food took awhile to come out, but our waitress provided wonderful service. She stopped by to fill our waters what felt like countless times. This restaurant has the craziest and coolest decorations I've ever seen. There is a huge guitar, and a lots of things hanging on the ceiling. Huge cans and barrels, a bike, and a tricycle. The restaurant has a old western theme. It is dedicated to the birth of America. It honors the American spirit of independence. They have countless food options. Each meal chose, side, and appetizer is delicious. The waitresses are friendly and forgiving. (If they make a mistake) The workers aren't the only friendly people, the customers are friendly too. It seems everyone knows everyone. Rollies isn't just a restaurant, it's a community of proud American people. read more

Red my neck is not; nor is it particularly long. I speak not with the pseudo twang of aspirational southern dialect. Yet, save for the non-composting, underfoot sea of discarded peanut shells, I feel oddly comfortable here. Perhaps it's that an outsider like me blends into the Americana when I'm used to literally standing out head and shoulders from the locals, or perhaps that the owner stopped by the table to chat and tell an utterly inappropriate (but equally hilarious) joke. Or perhaps something else entirely; the result is a great atmosphere. The food...hopefully not a passive insult to say it far exceeded my expectations. Our party ordered a variety of items from the modest offerings, and honestly, doing a few things well is preferable to doing a plethora badly; what their menu lists are all things they can stand behind. I shared a large pizza--very reasonably priced considering the size and unlimited choice of toppings--only to receive what I can only describe as the best pizza I've ever had in the area. Sure, a pizza's crust can be a polarizing topic, but Rollie strikes the perfect balance. The sauce is generous without becoming a sloppy burden, and the toppings abundantly scattered with care; everything bearing the signatures of freshness. MAGA cult celebration event was a flop. Maybe they should try hyping a liberal event next time and see if they have any luck with that. Well, I didn't feel discriminated against walking into this fun establishment. It's a trick to look around at all the decorations, well worth at least one visit. My food was a bit of a mixed bag. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich asking for the coleslaw on the side. They obviously read the slaw on side after putting in on my sandwich as it came on the side with a portion left unscraped from the sandwich. Also, the sandwich was far from serving temp. On the good side, the pulled pork had a nice taste and the beans and potato salad were good. I plan to try Rollies again when I get back to St.Cloud. read more

This place is unique. You don't see a country bar like this anywhere else. Not only are the staff always doing something for the customers, but they are super nice and present the values of company very well. The food here is wonderful and you can tell they actually put effort into making it. The staff are always friendly. Would recommend this place to all family and friends especially if they want to have some good soul food. ALSO the owners are at the bar working along with the employees and they are always there participating in whatever is going on. They are good people to have a conversation with. Went here for lunch today and happened to be wearing my army uniform. You always feel a little odd wearing a uniform in public nevertheless myself and everyone I was with was treated with utmost kindness and respect. Was hoping to grab a burger here, with a baked potato. But they were out of baked potatoes. I had the salad bar instead of the potatoe, which cost more. The ground beef in my cheeseburger was kind of tough. I'm spoiled by eating Wagyu beef, but still it was not great. I don't really write reviews, but I experienced such crappy service I had to. I get it, places get busy. That is no excuse to treat your customers like they are inconveniencing you. We chose our own table, went to the bar and got our first drinks no big deal. We ordered and it took about 45 minutes to get our food, shit happens. The kicker was part of our party had 2 tabs because the waitress "couldn't find his tab", so we went to pay it before we left and the bartender gave us attitude like it was our fault. Saying "If you can't tell it's busy here" after we had been waiting to pay a $3.50 tab, so we weren't walking out on it. She gave him attitude for no reason besides she couldn't apparently handle how busy it was. Sorry but I've been a bartender, if you don't like it when it's busy you probably should reconsider your career choice. We will never go back. read more

Met a group of people here for dinner and drinks. They had a good beer selection on tap. The waitress was forgetful but got the job done. The steak was prepared to order, it was good. It took a considerable amount of time to receive our food, and I wish that was the worst of it. The sandwich ordered was very soggy and flavorless. We expressed our concerns to the waitress who just dismissed us. They did not offer to comp the meal or offer any remedy. We got stuck with a bill for meals that were left untouched. Now we will be picking up a meal on our way back home. Very disappointed. I will not be returning and I will be sure to warn others. read more

Apparently my original review was removed by this establishment. It was "Terrible greasy food and poor service. Place is a dump" It seems they want me to be more specific. We arrived in the early evening as we were on vacation visiting elderly members of our family. It's a small town and the reviews of the place were good. First, the place wasn't clean it appeared the table hadn't been wiped down and was sticky the floor was filthy. The waitress took forever to acknowledge us and seem generally disinterested. I had the cowboy burger and it was awful. You wouldn't think that you screw up a burger but they managed. First, the bun was soggy and tasted stale. I ordered it medium rare and got well done. We also tried the wings to start and they were very greasy and the sauce tasted like it was out of a jar. The women didn't order anything after trying those. I wish I had followed their lead. To top it off we were treated to a loud semi-racist tirade between two drunks at the bar laced with vulgarities. There were not many other places in the area so we drove back to St.Cloud. I would strongly advise against taking a ride out to Sauk Rapids for this dump read more
