Such a fun and cool experience!! Kassie (the owner) made the entire process simple and professional from start to finish. They set up your own private spot on the beach and will go wherever you're staying. They groom the sand, provide food, tables, and set everything up prior to arrival. They even can provide a speaker for music, cornhole games, and build you a bonfire. All you need to bring is your own cooler/drinks. The food was excellent and is prepared right in front of you while you relax and hang out. They even include dessert and s'mores to cook on the fire. It was my Dad's 74th birthday and we wanted to do something different without too much hassle. RTBC allowed me to order the meal & services online the night before, they had everything set up & ready to go when we arrived. Food was excellent!! The kids enjoyed the s'mores & key lime pie. Having the campfire gave us time to enjoy the beach too. They had tunes playing and ambiance was perfect! We ordered a fire dancer sort of as a joke for Dad but boy did she prove to NOT be a joke! We hired Rollin' Tide Boil for a welcome reception to our conference for around 50 people. They did all the work setting up beautiful Adirondack chairs and fire pits and cooked up a delicious shrimp boil. The set up on the beach at Port A was perfect, and so relaxing with the sound of the waves in the background and crackle of the bon fire! Private shrimp and crab boil on the beach? Yes please! Shawn and Kassie couldn't have been more delightful. They did everything to make sure we had an incredible time, from cherry picking music just for us to making sure we had snuggly blankets when it got a little chilly. And man, the food was spectacular. Shrimp and crab cooked to perfection, wonderful spice level, and the potatoes, sausage, and corn were lovely too. Really, no detail is overlooked here. OMG! 1st, let me start by saying if you've never had dinner on the beach, you're missing out! Shawn & Kassie provide everything you could need! Our beach boil was amazing! We had shrimp, sausage, and snow crab. They provided all the condiments, utensils, paper towels, wet naps, etc. Shaun's homemade spice seasoning was delicious! He seasoned half of the boil spicy for us spicy lovers and the other half was just perfect for the kids. We also booked the bonfire. I highly recommend doing this as well. Can't have a beach boil without finishing the evening with a sunset bonfire and s'mores! They set up comfy Adirondack chairs and tiki torches around the fire pit they made. My daughter loved the s'mores and their key lime s'more was the fav for us adults! We will definitely plan on calling them every time when come to Port Aransas! read more

Shawn was more than helpful and after explaining it was for my husband's birthday he recommended a private fire dancer show for our group with Stella Moon as well as the boil and bonfire. Amazing! We booked a bonfire with smores and a fire dancer for my husband's 43rd birthday and it was perfect! Shawn is a great communicator over the phone, text or email. The price was very reasonable and they have service down to a T. Shawn and Kassie anticipated every need and made the night so enjoyable. The set up was stellar with the sand combed, a beautiful fire ready to go and bright, fun chairs encircled with tiki torches. Everything went off without a hitch. Shawn and Jessica are great hosts. We had dinner for 15 at the beach. I can't say it was on the beach, because of hurricanes and tides, it just didn't happen. But amidst all the rescheduling (and let me tell you, trying to coordinate 15 people is not easy once, much less three times). For those interested in booking, know that these two are honest and dependable. They did everything right, right down to the condiments and adjusting the spice from mild to spicy at the guests preference. We ate, laughed and danced in the Pavilion. The cherry on top were the s'more kits. I haven't had a s'more taste so good since my Girl Scout days. I hope you enjoy as much as we did. read more

Amazing!!! I would give this 10 stars if I could. This was a really wonderful way to celebrate a family birthday on the beach. Everything was clean, organized, classy and fun. The lovely owner Kassie handled our event from start to finish all by herself. This is a wonderful family business and she clearly takes pride in what her company offers. She was very easy to communicate with - she answered emails and returned calls promptly and the event was so easy and smooth. We called a week before our trip and fortunately she had an open slot during a holiday weekend. We had twelve people including several kids and she had a rainbow of gorgeous clean Adirondack chairs set up (some even bolted down due to wind) along with cute tiki torches surrounding us and a fire pit in the center. There was Bluetooth speaker with music playing and the food was ready 15-20 mins after we arrived. The portions were generous (she sent us home with our leftovers) and everything was fresh high quality including local fresh shrimp and super sweet corn. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. She had metal skewers for making s'mores and we especially loved the key lime smores with homemade filling. There was a mild spice in the boil which one child did not love and she ended eating corn for dinner. Kassie has a kids hot dog option which in retrospect I should have anticipated for my super picky child but all the other kids loved their meals. One person had a seafood allergy and brought her own dinner, but was able to participate in the s'mores afterward. The event was a three hour dinner and bonfire. We were able to relax after dinner as the sun came down. Once it was dark the fire was wonderful- some folks went swimming while the rest of us sat around and visited or just enjoyed being on the beach at night.. Kassie came over to check on the fire regularly to keep it burning continuously. The event was at the local beach park (Magee beach park). Next time we will give her 3-4 weeks notice to get the $50 city permit to allow the event closer to our beach rental so we don't have to use the portable toilets and park on the sandy beach lot. Price was very reasonable for the exceptional level of service and superb quality of food. We will have treasured memories forever thanks to Rollin Boil and will would highly recommend them. read more

You can't book with Rollin' Tide Boil Co. fast enough! I did a google search for food while we were in Port A for spring break and totally lucked out finding them. I talked to Kassie on the phone and she was very professional and pleasant to deal with. She answered all questions and explained their services in detail. I was sent a quote with all the options we had discussed previously and immediately called back to set it up. We had the best time with them by far out of everything we did in Port A. Shawn and Kassie had everything setup and ready when we got there. Walking up to chairs, tiki torches, and a fire on the beach exclusively for you is a memory well worth having. We didn't lift a finger unless it was to eat or drink, they took care of it all. Food was ready within minutes of arriving and it was amazing, best boil we had in Port A period. We ate till we were stuffed! They also brought smores and key lime pie smores for dessert, which were amazing as well. Every dinner I eat from here on I'm going to picture how much better it would be if I were sitting by a fire beachside. It just won't compare. Shawn and Kassie are just good people and I'm so happy we took a chance and booked our evening with them. Port A didn't exactly provide a great experience for us but this made our entire trip worth it. We WILL be back to make more memories with them in the future with our family and friends. I can't say enough how much fun you'll have and how well they treat you. I don't endorse any kind of service unless I use it myself and have had a good experience with it.
