The function area had plenty of room for our 175 guests to mingle, with a large dance floor and a great spot for the DJ with his giant video screen. Their bartenders and serving staff were very professional, fun, and there was never a wait at the bar. There is a large deck overlooking the beautiful golf course and a side room that provided a nice place for our guests to enjoy the amazing appetizers, drinks, and music while we took our photos. Teresa's also provided a huge private area for the wedding party to relax and enjoy appetizers prior to being announced, and a safe place to store changes of clothes and other personal items. There was also plenty of parking and Teresa's provided an attendant as well. Sharon was easy to work with, was extremely supportive during the planning, and was in control and calm during the reception to ensure our day went as planned! We had some unique needs and special desires and Sharon was very accommodating. For example, we decided to have a dessert table in lieu of a wedding cake; we put our trust in Sharon to take care of that for us and she far exceeded every expectation! Our dessert bar was absolutely amazing and our guests raved about it! Additionally, she was so helpful with our request for food stations instead of a traditional sit down meal. The biggest hit...a mashed potato bar, with loads of toppings and served in martini glasses! Our guests couldn't get enough! Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be because of the planning and facility offered by Teresa's Hillview and Sharon Shaugnessy. I found that the system she used to install kayaks on the roof of cars is idiot proof, and the kayak is securely fastened to the top of the car to avoid liability. I also found that any guy could lift a kayak and install it the the roof of a car solo (it's not that heavy), however hauling the kayak fewer for more than 5 feet I recommend two people. I refuse to rent anywhere else, and I look forward to renting from Little Harbor Boathouse again.

She restarted the POS system to do this for us, even though it was late, she could have asked us to come back another day. Patti was so helpful with food and drink selections. We had very specific expectations (with a dozen checklists to prove it!) and she and the staff exceeded every one. The deck and function rooms looked amazing; the food was fantastic; the service was courteous and attentive, but unobtrusive; and, most important, the evening flowed flawlessly, with no intervention from the either of us. We wouldn't be surprised to learn that Salvatore's also had something to do with the postcard-perfect sunset! ;) Months later, our guests continue to gush about the evening, including the food, the staff, and the venue itself. It can also be rented, very affordably for weddings and parties. It's in an easy to find location right off of Exit 3 on 93 and has plenty of parking. You could fit 200 people between the two rooms quite easily, one drawback is the small kitchen and bathrooms downstairs, but you should certainly look at this awesome and historical building for your next event in the area. It will be hard to be disappointed.
