The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

The wedding was outside, and there was a distinct area for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The cabin had a bathroom of each type, a small kitchen, and a cute fireplace with an upright piano beside it. But I must admit that the draw here is to the surroundings, and not to the facilities within the cabin, since the bathrooms were unusable half the night due to low water pressure, and the sink was also clogged at one point. But this is definitely a spot where caterers can set up. The air smelled wonderful and fresh, and needless to say, I had a blast. This tucked-away, simple venue was the perfect spot for a low-key wedding.

Absolutely not correct, this space is so small, I'd say maybe 50-60 people comfortably. Trying to locate the hall was an issue due to poor signing on the street, the hall is in the back. For a place that quoted 120 people, their parking lot sucks. We had to double/triple park cars to make the space work since there were no lines for parking. Our guests did not have any space to dance and we booked the event for a baby shower. We went in the morning of at 10am to set up, none of the tables and chairs were out yet. They didn't have anything ready for us although saying that it would be ready the night before. The covers for the chairs and tables weren't even ironed. The bathroom smelt of toilet water, no refreshers. We had to ask several times for them to refill the toilet paper and put paper towels in the bathroom. No paper towels were ever put in the bathroom the entire night! Just poor service. Absolutely expensive and outrageous pricing for a function hall that came with close to nothing. She said we would have food tables, not true we had to bring our own. They didn't have a liquor license and did not serve any soft drinks even for the kids, we had to bring everything ourselves which added to our financial burden. Not to mention, we were unexpectedly charged an extra $250 for "security" who did nothing but open and close the door. Horrible experience, I would not book again nor refer to anyone. Expensive as hell with nothing to show for it. Only good thing was that we were able to provide our guests with our own food.

This location doesn't have the full kitchens like most SpringHill Suites do, but it's fine with me- they have a fridge and microwave. Staff are very polite and efficient. Workout room is clean and well-equipped. I'm in Andover 3 or 4 times per year for work, and this will be my hotel to stay at going forward. The quiet setting makes you feel like you're in the middle of New England. Highly recommended.

We were told that the city was contacted, but there was nothing changed. the hot water however was okay and clean but basics you do with cold water (brushing teeth, washing face) was done in hot water or with water bottles. i would not recommend this specific location; literally would only go to see Grizzi* (hope I spelled her name right).
