My husband and I have camped at fish Creek pond campground square pond campground and Rollins pond campground. If you want rustic real back to nature Rollins pond is for you a lot of sites around the water. The views are spectacular. The scenery you can't go wrong a lot of the campsites are right on the water or a short path down to the water but each campsite has their own little Beach area. Rollins is more secluded with trees than the other two campgrounds. Which makes it real rustic. There is no cell phone service but that's okay. You're there to get back to nature and enjoy yourself. Don't forget to put your food in your car because of bears and raccoons. Sadly raccoons got into my bread and rolls because I forgot to put it away. Lesson learned but absolutely if you want a Adirondack experience back to nature Rollins pond campground is for you. read more

We camped here in 2024 and found this campground to be so charming and quiet! It is quite large and there are many sites right on the water. The only downside is that you have to drive through Fish Creek campground to get to Rollins, which isn't the worst, but it does add a lot of slow driving through winding roads to get to the main roads. Would absolutely camp here again. One of the prettiest campsites we have ever stayed at. read more

My family stayed here for the first time this summer and we really like this campground! We like that the sites are large and feel secluded. The site we stayed at had water access, which was really nice to have with our 5 year old. There are some hiking trails around, which is nice too, but the campground is quite large so you can get a good walk in just by going along the road. There isn't a camp store within the campground, but we found one about a five minute drive outside the campground. read more

This is a nice campground along the Rolling Pond. Great place to kayak or canoe. Each side is spacious and if a site is along the lake there is private access to launch a kayak. Each site has a nice fire pit and picnic table. I spent 2 nights for Memorial day weekend. It was nice. Total 250 sites exist. Along the lake site is really nice, but not popular if not it not much point. read more

There isn't an activities center to send the kids off to...no arcade, no swimming pool. But there is a nicely provisioned store at the top end, and an ice cream stand. There's also a small beach. This is your campfires at night and watching for shooting stars kind of camping. A nice disconnect from most modern amenities. 4G for cell phones is hit or miss. There's plenty to do during the day within driving distance though, so no one will be bored for long.

There's a trail that goes around the lake but really if you come here it's all for the paddling.

This is such a wonderful hiking experience, and in fact it's our first time hiking in the snow. There's definitely some elevation to the peak. If you don't stop at all, you'll probably finish the round trip within 2 hours. We took a lot of photos and did some off trail exploration so that took us 4 hours in total. Overall a pretty workout!!
