We were able to come in for the breakfast special eggs, protein, bagel, hashbrowns, and I opted for salad instead. Bagels were fresh, toasted with butter, eggs were made perfectly and proteins were proteins. I feel like they have a constant flow of people. I do appreciate that you were able to go to a counter and purchase baked goods to go overall, definitely a place you should check out if you're in the area.

Just the sounds of other tables talking. The tv were on the news channels Smoke salmon Benedict with home fries. Smoke salmon had a weird texture. Not alot of hollandaise sauce and the english muffin was not toasted or wasnt toasted enough. Home fries was nice and had alot of good flavour! 5/10 4x2 breakfast. Easy fast classic meal. 2 eggs 2 sausage 2 bacon and 2 pancakes. Sausage was a little on the smaller side. But eggs cooked perfectly and the pancakes was nice and fluffy and not dense like some places. Bacon was crispy as well. 7/10 Overall a decent breakfast location. Would love to get some bagels to try next time.

I discovered this place years and years ago and it kind of became a tradition for me to come Sunday…read moremornings and grab a bagel sandwich! Location: Bayview North of Steele's in the Longos plaza Parking; There's a lot of free parking. It's pretty busy because the longos and it's near a Ramona's kitchen. But there's always parking. The place,: It's tiny when you first walk in you go to the spot where all the bagels are and you pick them using tongs into a bag is pretty tight in that area and you go around to where they bring out the bagels and then around where they're sweet treats and a counter. At this counter if you grab a bagel you can give it to them and get a sandwich made out of it my favorite is a toasted chicken salad no vegetables. You pay extra for vegetables and I'm too cheap to pay like a dollar for some cucumber. They have all different kinds of bagels the most popular is the rainbow bagel because more often than not it is low or not there. But don't fret because they're constantly making bagels all day and chances are there's something that's still warm to the touch because they've just brought it out! You also have some cooked food such as falafel and other things I've never ordered it but I know people that haven't said that they really like it. I am sticking to my chicken salad bagel. I think the chicken salad is delicious. I do notice that a lot of people get the egg salad and my friend swears by the smoke salmon and cream cheese. It is seriously tiny so the seating situation is zero but people don't realize, or some people don't realize, that that's actually a little mall and if you exit the store on the side you come upon a seating area where there's about 20 seats.. I've never not had a seat. I would like a lot? Yes of course I've been back many times this is one of my favorite bagel places. And let me say it again because I don't think the million other times I said it was enough, I love their chicken salad sandwiches.

And The tuna is not the best as well. I wished they used solid white tuna but obviously it is a cheaper tuna product. They have been here a while though so they must be doing something right I try to stay away but come back every few months to torture myself. Do I recommended? Hard to say. If you want a below average bagel, maybe some low quality tuna or horrendous service? Then be my guest. I'll still get my bagels from Bagel World or Kiva's They are much better products than here.

I was looking for a spot to sit and study on a Friday when I came across Metropolis. The photos…read moreshowcased a beautiful, aesthetic space, and the reviews suggested it was a great place to work thanks to its ample designated laptop seating, plentiful outlets, free Wi-Fi, and lack of time limits. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of free parking behind the café, with direct access to the entrance. Even at 10 a.m. on a Friday, it was busy. The café has clearly designated laptop seating, while other tables are marked as laptop-free zones. I thought this was a fair system as it creates space for everyone, whether you're studying or working like I was, or simply meeting friends for a casual catch-up. I also noticed that groups of three or more are welcome to sit anywhere, which is a nice touch. Between 4 and 6 p.m., laptops are also permitted throughout the café. Thankfully, despite the crowd, my sister and I managed to find two neighboring seats in the laptop section. These areas consist of large communal tables with plenty of outlets. While everyone sits together, people generally keep to themselves, making it a productive environment. That said, the café can get quite loud due to the constant flow of customers, conversations, and the occasional work call. I couldn't resist ordering quite a bit of food to fuel my study session. First was the pesto sandwich (which contains walnuts). It was incredibly flavorful and cheesy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how hot it was served and it even had a satisfying cheese pull. For my drink, I ordered an iced caramel latte. It wasn't quite bold enough for my taste, but it was still enjoyable. I simply prefer a stronger coffee flavor. For dessert, I tried the pistachio cookie. Aside from the centre, which contained plenty of crushed pistachios, I didn't find it particularly pistachio-forward. It tasted more like a chocolate chip cookie with white and milk chocolate pieces. I also sampled some of my sister's order, including the chicken Caesar wrap, which I would absolutely order next time. The iced strawberry matcha, however, was also lacking in flavor. The standout dessert was definitely the cinnamon bun. It was massive, perfectly made, and something I'd recommend over the cookie any day. Oh, and both the sandwich and wrap came with Lay's chips, which turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable pairing. I also want to mention how clean the café was despite the heavy foot traffic. During my several-hour stay, I constantly saw staff wiping down tables, clearing dishes, and tucking chairs back in. The washrooms were also clean, had a good number of stalls, and were well maintained. I especially appreciated that they provided paper towels instead of air dryers. Overall, Metropolis is an excellent place to spend a few hours studying or working. The thoughtful laptop-friendly setup, abundant outlets, free parking, and welcoming atmosphere make it easy to settle in. While a couple of the drinks and desserts fell a bit short on flavor, the sandwiches, wraps, and cinnamon bun more than made up for it. I'd definitely return, both for another productive work session and to grab that chicken Caesar wrap again.
