If you are looking to do some Xmas shopping this holiday season then definitely come here. The food offerings here are excellent as well. They got a huge food court with lots of delicous food offerings across the globe. You want more of a dine in experience? Visit Moxies, Jack Astors, Scaddabush, Milestones, Hibachi, etc. The washrooms here need more TLC. The cleaning staff need to clean more frequently to make it a more pleasant shopping experience.

A con for this mall is the transit is now outside the mall on one of the side roads. When the LRT used to be open there was a bus bay there the buses used to stop. So for transit users this mall isn't as convenient as it used to be. This mall is best for those who have a car.

I wondered if this place might actually be better known for food or matcha, based on what I've seen in other reviews - the coffee was not good. The espresso beans seemed to be over-roasted, which were quite bitter for our liking as opposed to something more subtly chocolatey and nutty. My iced latte also got watery pretty quickly as the ice melted it seemed, and ended up tasting more like the kind of latte you'd get from a fast-food chain (or the espresso shot was way too long). A bit of a letdown, especially since the two fairly small drinks came to about $18. The space itself is cozy, and I really like the vinyl collection (which earned the 2 stars). That said, the records are noticeably pricey compared to typical vinyl shops like Sonic Boom. A lot of them -- even ones with just Side A -- were priced at $55 and up. I didn't cross-check the barcodes on Discogs, but while I love the curation (especially the focus on Japanese jazz and city pop -- really cool stuff), I find it hard to believe all of them are rare pressings worthy of those $55-to-several-hundred-dollar price tags. As an avid collector myself, I wouldn't come here to buy the records. Service was friendly.

Here's the question that I have been facing at work. We have a document with New in its title. Is it really new when this document has existed for a few years? I feel the same way about New Century Plaza. When you visit it, it's like the century look and feel dominate more than new. It is an older plaza. What I noticed is that there are a lot of stores selling Chinese herbs and medicine. I'd imagine that 80% of the stores that I had passed by were herbal ones. Besides the restaurant, across from it was a bookstore. It was a nice change. Before we left, we can across a chicken stand. The chicken looked weird and shredded. I made a comment about it, which made my friends laugh hard. It looked like mystery meat to me. Parking was a bit crazy on a Thursday at around 1 pm. I did manage to find a parking spot. It was much better when we left at 3 pm. I don't drop by this place often, but it's worth it for New Century Restaurant, which has fabulous dim sum. There was also one big florist and a bookstore.  The demographics makes sense as the youngsters have moved on to the shiny newer malls.   Something makes me think this place can still get busy on the weekends though because there are still a lot of Chinese up here that use these products and everything else for that matter!

The hazelnut one is my favourite, and it smells so heavenly ^^ For lunch, I usually get a freshly made sandwich for $4 tax included. The portion is huge (for me!), you can add sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and other toppings at no additional cost. My coworker and I usually enjoy the egg salad sandwich, tuna salad sandwich, and chicken salad sandwich :) Secret menu item (well, not so secret anymore!) Beef patty ($1.50 tax in.) is not on the menu but you can certainly order it. I always have random beef patty craving moments lol. You can also have it stuffed apparently! My coworker was telling me how delicious a stuffed beef patty was lol. You can stuff it with the usual - sliced tomatoes, cucumber, plus other favourite toppings.
