Stopped in to Roma's in Cross Lanes to try it for the first time. Staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the Cheesesteak and the Pepperoni Calzone. The food was hot, fresh, and simply amazing! The bread for the cheesesteak sub was some of the best sub bread I've had. It was jammed packed with meat and veggies. I loved that the dough on the calzone had a buttery garlic flavor. We got the funnel cake bites, they were really good! Jay (not sure If I am spelling that correclty) was our waitress, she was the best! The Manager came by twice to check on us. We had visited Roma 5 times previously. All were 5 stars! However this last visit was disappointing. We had to ask THREE times for silverware. Coffee was served with no spoon. Wife's Cannelloni had wrong sauce. My stuffed shells were cold, with a soggy breadstick in the sauce. Sent it back. Plate came back without breadstick. Let's get some common sense and attentiveness training to the wait staff. Tips and good reviews are EARNED. This past visit did NOT. Sorry. Hope things improve next time. read more

Went to Roma today for Sunday lunch. Service was ok not great. Kept telling us our food was coming but still after 30 minutes no food. My daughters didnt even get their food till 20 minutes after the adults had their meals. Apparently "they lost the ticket". The environment was fine but we waited almost a hour for our food. Kitchen needs to improve greatly, they are very slow. The food was ok not the best. I had the lasagna. Service needs to improve greatly because they were incredibly slow. read more

We had an amazing lunch. The waitress was wonderful she was very knowledgeable about the menu selections since it's a newer restaurant we were unsure what to get at first. The variety is incredible and our lunch was ready within no time. I'm so glad that this restaurant is here now we don't always have to go to Olive Garden when we want Italian. read more

With all the mixed reviews we were hesitant on trying but we are so glad we did. Seated quickly and had such a friendly and attentive waitress. Salad was full of veggies and ranch was delicious. Garlic knots with cheese were fire along with the sauce. My calzone which was hugeeee and only a small. Had enough to have lunch the next day. Wife's Chicken Alfredo was so flavorful and yummy. Thank goodness the server left us lots of napkins when she seated us as we needed them to put under the leg of the table to keep it from rocking. The wife ordered the tour of Italy. The spaghetti was lukewarm, the ravioli had tough edges, she had to dig under the cheese and sauce to find out where the ravioli, manicotti, lasagna began and ended. I ordered a large meat lovers calzone the crust was tough and there was a grey meat in it that I don't know if it was old or what. The food was over priced for what we got. This was our first time visiting this newer restaurant. Our overall experience was very good. The food had great flavor and was served timely. Some of our food was closer to room temperature when it was received. Our server was spot on, stopped by often and kept drinks full. A few things to really improve this location was the attention to small details. We saw several little cob webs in window sills, and some food scraps under tables. (We were there just after opening). Making sure food gets to table very warm, I'd rather have to let it cool a little in front of me to eat it. We will certainly be back as the food was very tasty! read more

First off, the food is AWESOME. but they've gotta get their act together. You walk in and stand around and no one talks to you. Eventually we approached someone and she told us to wait. We finally got another gentleman to come over to us and he just randomly pointed and told us to sit at 5. So off we go searching for our table. It ended up being in front of a window and in the section where we were later told "the circulation isn't working" AKA its HOT with no air and sun coming in the big windows. It's a booth. I go to sit in and fall through the seat. Half of the bench on one side is broken, and the other is taped up. They are using the old Fazoli's tables and chairs. It looks like the most that they've done is slap some paint on. BADLY and use the Fazoli's set up. There is trash all over the floor, and we wait over 15 minutes before our waitress comes to us. We order everything, drinks, appetizers, and food. Because we've had 15 minutes to read the huge menu. Plus, we only had 2 menus for the 3 of us. We wait another 10 minutes or so and our drinks come. no straws. she said she'd be back. 10 minutes later straws and silverware. Sweet Tea was good. This time. another 10 minutes or so and we got our garlic knots appetizer. Extremely good. nothing wrong with it. Someone here knows how to cook, but not run a restaurant. The table beside us ordered two tours of Italy and they came looking very different and on different plates. The people behind us got their meal compt because it was fixed incorrectly. an older couple across from us asked if we'd come to taste the drinks. because they'd been waiting on their food forever. one waitress stopped by every table with drinks trying to figure out who ordered it. eventually some of our food comes out. The 1/2 pound burger was huge, tons of toppings, but the toppings were UNDER the meat, so it made for quite the mess eating it. We had to open the ketchup bottle to use it, it was brand new and had just been thrown on the table, no one removed the plastic piece inside that keeps the ketchup from coming out. one of us got chicken alfredo, which looked like it'd been sitting around for awhile. the chicken was really soft and the more you ate it the less flavor it had. something needs to be fixed with that recipe. The veggie calzone took forever to come out. when it did it was covered in oregano so thick that we scraped it off and made quite a nice little pile on the plate. at LEAST a tablespoons worth. It didn't need it. and half the calzone was burnt. The burnt side as you ate it was just bread, no filling in that section. but overall it was good. too many onions and yellow peppers. So again we played the waiting game, as we were out of drinks. she didn't come back to us until we were done eating, so she said she'd give us drinks to go and get us some to go boxes. she came back another 10 minutes later and gave us our drinks but forgot the to go boxes. the sweet tea this time was BAD. we even added some sugar into it as we sat there waiting on our boxes and nothing helped. we ended up leaving them on the table. the to go boxes finally came and they were not the kind you usually get in restaurants. they were divided up into sections and it made it very difficult to load our food up into them. I ended up turning it upside down and using the lid to put the veggie calzone on. We were then told that if we went and stood at the counter to pay up front we'd probably get out of there faster than if we paid at the table. by the waitress. so one of us went to pay and the others melted in the car waiting for someone to finally wait on him and let him pay. So, there's some good food there. you get a lot. It's not super expensive. But be prepared for chaos. I don't know. maybe if they hire more staff and get their act together in a few months it'll be ok. But for now....... read more

I ate here for dinner with my husband and we have no real complaints. We were sat within minutes and a waitress quickly took our drink and appetizer order. We got the garlic knots with cheese and they were soft, fluffy, and overflowing with cheese. The food took a bit to come out but it was worth it. My husband ordered the ravioli with pink sauce and enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken alfredo and they had no problem changing the fettuccine noodles for angel hair for me. It was super cheesy, garlicky, and delicious. Our waitress, Dee, was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed.
