We used to visit this truck regularly when they were located on Willow with all of the food trucks. Since moving to their new location on Chestnut, they've created a cozy space. There are plenty of seats if you want to dine in, but we usually order takeout. The bruschetta is one of my favorites; it's light and fresh, and the bread is perfectly toasted while still soft inside. We also love the RCBA, Spicy Carbonara, Roma Rigatoni, and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. I love their sauce. It's not sweet like some other Italian places. Their salads are always fresh and delicious, and my picky eater son loves their spaghetti. Good food, but pricey. I definitely found things to get again, as well as a few to skip in the future. The spicy carbonara spaghetti was delicious. The RCBA (rigatoni, chicken, bacon, alfredo) was good too, though the chicken clearly screamed, "Tyson frozen chicken strips," complete with fake grill marks and everything. The meatball sub was tasty. I'll definitely skip the mozzarella sticks in the future. Six mozzarella sticks for $13 is a bit unreasonable, and the mystery sauce that came with it was so thin it didn't adhere to the stick when dipped. I'll skip the zucchini sticks in the future, too. There were a good number of them, but it they were almost completely bread crumbs, with little zucchini to be found. The ranch that came with it was so tangy that it was almost inedible. All in all, this is a good option for a food truck lineup, but like so many other establishments, there are things that shine, and others that disappoint. read more

My fiancé and I attended a Fresno Street Eats event yesterday, located on Shaw and Van Ness . Heard nothing but great things about their truck and was craving some Italian food for lunch. Thankfully there was only one party ahead of us and the line started to get longer behind us. The menu was simple. We ordered the lasagna and the spicy carbonara. They provided a pager with hand sanitizers next to it. I thought was a great idea so you freely walk around without having to worry if you missed your order being called. We wait about 15 mins or so, the wait wasn't long. The customer service was great. Reasonably priced, especially for the quality of their food. When we got home the food was still hot, our orders came with bread. I was really amazed at how large the portion was, the weight, and how very appealing it looked. Both dish was very delicious. Haven't had good authentic Italian food in a while, and this place was everything and more! So much flavor and each bite was just as good as the first. The sauces was definitely made with love it didn't taste like something straight from a can, it was a very homey meal. Tasted fresh and not froze! The 2 dishes my fiancé and I ordered was plenty for 3 people it was very filling. The spicy carbonara was my favorite, the spicy level was perfect. And the sauce just melted in my mouth. Whoa! If you haven't tried this place, then you are missing out!! Our friend told us about them. We searched and found their phone number. They answered right away and was very friendly. We decided to check out the Shepherd and Nees area to see what other food trucks were out there instead of calling in our order from Roma. Customer service was excellent and they gave us their recommendations and favorites. We didn't know what we wanted to order since everything sounded so delicious. My husband ended up ordering the meatball sandwich (which he never orders anywhere else because he doesn't like red sauce) I got the RCBA because I love alfredo sauce. We were so excited to try their food that we ended up eating it in the car. Our rule is to never eat or drink in the car. Well we broke those rules and ate our food. OMG it was sooo good and definitely worth breaking the rules! I didn't want to risk my pasta getting warm/cold. I don't like the separation of the sauce when it cools down. The serving size was big. I couldn't finish my food. The serving size and price was comparable to a restaurant except you get way better food here. The sauce was amazing as well. I didn't care much for the chicken. It had a weird salty softness to it when I ate it by itself. You definitely have to eat the pasta noodle with the chicken together. The meatball sandwich was amazing! It was not overbearing with sauce at all! I loved how they toasted the bread and it had a hint of sweetness to it. It didn't ruin the sandwich at all. The owner gave us a sample of their lasagna and wow that was good too! You can really taste that it was made from scratch. It was not sour or salty at all. The dude and I came to Enzo's Table to get Sno Cafe on 09/12/29 and seeing Roma's Italian Street Truck several times we finally had to give them a shot as there are always long lines!! After we ate our signature Sno cafe cones we hopped in line at Roma's and tried the Spicy Carbonara which is a pink sauce with bacon, chicken and vegetables. The Spicy Carbonara was delicious and I told the dude how come we haven't tried this place since we first saw them on the Madera wine trails! The pasta was cooked perfectly the flavors were delicious in every bite! We also got the Canoli which was the dude and I trying a Cannoli for the first time and it was so underwhelming not sure what I expected but I am not a fan of anything crime filled so unless you like those type of treats than a Cannoli is for you! So ya. This truck is on point. We just popped in enzo's table on a whim. No placed looked good there. They are usually a buzzkill when it comes to the "good food trucks". well F me sideways, we found roma! Not cheap by any means, but the food was fantastic! We got some rigatoni alfredo with some bacon in it or some such thing. Whatever. It was great! This place was the star of the show for sure. There was literally like some shaved ice and some coffee boba thing, and taco boys (hella greasy crap tacos) and some other bs. Thank the lord these guys were there. The family and I stopped by Enzo's table to grab dinner as a pick me up on 11/16/2021 and as usual it was well worth stopping. As we usually do, we regretted not calling ahead for pick up so if you do the same as us, expect a wait, but it is worth it. Roma's is as good or better as any brick and mortar restaurant. This trip was the RCBA for me and the lady got the Roma Rigatoni. We shared the mozzarella sticks. As always the food is consistently the same and this go around the girl who took our order was friendly than some in the past. The RCBA is rigatoni with a peppery alfredo, juicy chicken and it says bacon but I think it's really pancetta, but that doesn't matter as I inhaled it. The Roma Rigatoni is a nice spicy pink sauce (alfredo and marinara), very good! The mozzarella sticks are great and the dipping sauce is homemade for sure! This is my second review of Roma. I've come back several times, which is saying something. My favorites are still the spicy pink Alfredo and the spicy carbonara. The prices are still pretty high, all things considered, but you do get a lot of food. Except tonight, I ordered their seasonal butternut squash ravioli dish that cost $18. It was yummy, but only got maybe 10 pieces of ravioli in it, and the container was more than half empty. NOT worth the hefty $18 price, especially when the carbonara costs $16 and they fill that container to the brim. My advice: stick to their classics, those don't disappoint. I ordered the meat stuffed tortalinni was a 5/5 the pasta was cooked to aldente, the sauce was meaty and savory would order again. Then I got the spicy carbonara with no bacon. This was my favorite when they had the had their food truck, but this time the moment I saw the pasta I knew something was off. COVID-19 phase: Enzo's Table: My mother wanted this place for tomorrow (now, today) since she had a busy day the next day. She went up and ordered their Lasagna with chicken added. The worker was masked. We waited a short time and it was ready. It came with a roll too. I did my usual duties and got lunch out and ready. My half of the lasagna was amazing! Delicious! The best! The chicken added to it made it even better! The roll was fresh and tasty too! My mother thought it was the best lasagna with a lot of flavor and a great amount of chicken! Fantastic lunch! The portion size for one lasagna is huge! You can easily split it and be full with your portion and I still have plenty left for dinner! Good service from what I saw. Delicious food! I was very excited when Roma moved from truck to restaurant! The owner has always worked hard and shown dedication to the business. In all honesty, I wanted to review Roma only because I want to see the owner's dream realized and continue to show my support. Rarely, would I ever eat at a place because the business absolutely deserves patronage; this is one of those places. The atmosphere is very clean. The establishment is new at the time of this review and it is well maintained. The customer service is excellent from both the servers and the cooks! (the owner himself being one of them!) The restrooms are stocked and very clean. Overall, Roma is a very nice place to eat at! I wanted to talk about the Spaghetti and Meatball as well as the Spicy Carbonara I had ordered to share my honest thoughts and experience with them. The spaghetti and meatball is exactly as it is listed on the menu, where you get one meatball per serving. At least I did. The sauce itself was watery and lacking robustness from the tomato. The meatball does not really taste like anything. The Spicy Carbonara is an interesting one. The spicy carbonara states that it is served with bacon, chicken, and peas as the protein selection. When I had ordered it, the consistency of the chicken was a little tough. There was a complex underlying spice, which I assume was the pork, but it gave the dish the flavor that you would want to find in a carbonara. The only fault is that I would like to have tasted more prominence of pork in the overall dish, rather than some tough chicken. I have not had their daily squares, but they look quite appetizing and I would love to try them on my next visit. When I'm in the restaurant I see customers that are more than satisfied with the San Francisco Squares, so I'll be trying that one next time. So, the only reason this review is a 4/5 is because the spaghetti and meatball needs work. It is not worth the price. Otherwise, I am going to continue to support the business, because there is no other place I can think of personally that has earned that support. read more

Ordered the RBCA (Rigatoni, chicken, bacon, Alfredo). The sauce had great flavor, however, they were a bit skimpy on the sauce, so I could barely taste it; I had to get to the very bottom of my cup in order to get to the good noodles. We came a little closer to closing, so maybe they didn't have much sauce left. Also, some bits of the chicken breast were dry. Going to give Roma another try and will update my review :) read more

I loved the RCBA, which stands for Rigatoni, Chicken, Bacon Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce was delicious and nice size chunks of chicken. They give you two rolls with your meal. The noodles were cooked perfectly, al dente. I also got the Cannoli for dessert, which was very delicious. I had some not so good, but this one is one of my faves. After looking at the menu on a hungry afternoon I noticed that this food truck had Italian comfort food such as lasagna and a meatball sandwich. I decided to take the plunge and order the lasagna and it taste like my Italian grandmother if I had one made it in her kitchen all day. This was one of the biggest portions I have ever underestimated. They gave me my food in what looks like a soup cup and I opened it and seen the lasagna and walked away from the truck and proceeded to try the food. Roma did not disappoint the meat had a wonderful texture and delicious flavoring, the sauce was not overpowering and taste authentic, and the ricotta cheese was in it's perfect position between the lasagna noodles meat and sauce. I called my order in and it was ready when i got there, no wait. the fried calamari was good. i would definitely order that again. the pasta all tasted and smelled like HOT DOGS :'( lol my sister opened up the RCBA and said, why does it smell like hot dogs. my mom took a bite of everything and asked me if they also sold hot dogs there too. the strange thing is they don't have hot dogs lol we were very disappointed in the food, but me n my family had a great laugh about how everything tasted like hot dogs. The dinner rolls were stale. My bill came out to about $65 (includes 15% tip). I may still give this place another chance.
