I have supported Quesadilla Gorilla for years. Today I didn't get the best service or quesadillas. I accidentally ordered 2 meat and cheese quesadillas on the app and was only supposed to order 1 of them. I called after I placed the order and they couldn't refund me. They told me I could on the app, but there wasn't an option for that. I went and picked up my food, came home and my quesadilla that I ordered was horribly made. Barely any toppings, sloppily made. I asked for cilantro and I got cilantro cream which is not my favorite. I like rice and chicken and I barely had any on my quesadillas. We have had really good food the last few times that we have ordered and this time was just not up to par.

Pork Quesadilla

What a wonderful twist on a traditional favorite. I tried the #2 Classic; house made chile verde with whole black bean, rice & white cheese. Healthy portions. A lot cheaper than a greasy fast food burger & 10 times the flavor. Staff helped me out since it's my 1st visit.

Peaceful and delicious! Quick service, simple walk up self order, or at counter. Lots of seating, or there is a nice LITTLE park right across the street.

First time coming here, me and my friend were the only two customers. Slow day and it was hot inside. Kup of joy , which is around the corner, was much cooler inside. The salsa's were interesting flavors and spicy. The chips could have more salt/spices The quesadilla was okay. I thought it would be cheesier. I've had better with taco trucks ..but glad I finally tried out this place. Service was quick since we were the only customers.

Been coming here over the past few years. I absolutely love this place. Noted a few changes to the place to include the design wall replacing the menu. The guy who took our order was really friendly and even brought the food to us. The one issue I have (and it's a big one) they do not provide a cup for water. What??? Not even sure that's legal. The employee said they no longer offer this because the had problems. You have to be kidding! They don't even sell bottled water! If you want water, you have to pay for a soda and dispense it. The people behind us were told the same thing. Perhaps it's because of new ownership, but this truly a bad business decision....

No meat included in my order

As a gluten free(allergy) VEGETARIAN I found CHICKEN in my food. Reached out, they don't seem to care. My stomach was messed up early the next morning due to cross contamination I'm sure. Not using different items to cook my veggies and someone else's chicken order. (Which is literally CROSS CONTAMINATION do your workers have their food handling cards???????)

You know a place is good when you start cheesin' after the first bite. I've been here on multiple occasions and each time, it always hits the spot. Love at first bite feeling, every bite! The inside is incredibly spacious - so much seating to enjoy your 'dillas! If you don't want to wait in line, they also have a self-serve kiosk where you can place your order! Service is pretty quick. Ordering online is an incredibly easy process, as well! They have so much variety with their quesadillas, from the basics to their unique combinations, to even dessert 'dillas! They also have a build your own quesadilla option - where you get to select all your toppings! I tend to choose this route and I LOVE my order: chile verde, cheddar, rice, and habaneros. It's perfection. Their variety of salsas are also incredible and pair so well with the quesadillas. My personal favorite is the roasted sour cream and the spicy salsa verde, but you can't go wrong with any of them! This place is SO. GOOD. 10/10 would reccomend.

This place has amazing quesadillas and even more amazing salsas and sauces. I ordered the classic quesadilla, #2 on the menu. This is a quesadilla is filled with chili Verde pork, red rice, tons of cheese, and black beans. I loved this quesadilla! The flavor was amazing and I really enjoyed how tender the pork was. This was a massive serving with three huge triangles of meat filled happiness. The sauces here are to die for, but the habanero salsa literally lit my face on fire. No bueno. But I did love the red cream sauce and the guacamole, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime sauce. Let me drink that stuff because it was that good! I live pretty far away from this place, but if Quesadilla Gorilla was in my neighborhood, this will definitely be an every other week snack stop.

I've had food from their food truck (which was a 5) and now I'm here to tell you that that this location is ALSO a solid 5! Roomy interior, lots of natural lighting, and lots of seating. Customer service was excellent; the cashier was so bubbly and brought our food to us even though it was to-go. I ended up doing a Build-your-own with chicken, Mexican rice, and cilantro. Honestly, I'm pretty sure any combo would be great here. I'm already itching to go back!

Absolutely bomb. No words needed. I can come from the hospital, sick to my stomach, but nothing would stop me from consuming this quesadilla and nothings gonna get this thing out of my system. Do not sleep on this place. Everybody is so nice here and way too chill. Dunno if they liked me but they load this thang.

Ask the Community - Quesadilla Gorilla

I see they sell beer, are children allowed to dine here?

Yes, we're a family friendly restaurant!

It says there are vegan options, but no vegan cheese?

We actually offer vegan cheese at all of our locations and food trucks! The menu’s are in the process of being updated but just ask your cashier to add it to your dilla!

Are the tortillas handmade?

No, they are not. THAT would be the cherry on top! ? However, don't let this deter you in anyway, try them and put it in their suggestion slip or post, they will see it ?

Do they only use wheat flour tortillas? Any gluten free options?

Yup, gluten free corn tortillas are available.

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!

It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas! They're the closest thing to the type of enchiladas my best friend's mama makes (she's from Michoacan)-- she makes the best, most authentic Mexican food! SO, when I can't get them from her... We use that same salsa for the enchis. Pair it with a crisp coke, chef's kiss! If it wasn't obvious, it's a yes from me. This little hole-in-the-wall family-run business needs more recognition!
