Ever since the event we had back in December I wanted to comeback and eat here or order to go. Finally we got the chance to come and order from here. They have the place very clean and tidy. It looks very welcoming. So, we order to go. My husband and daughter got the quesabirrias order. I got 2 Gorditas one potato and the other one beans. I love how the lady accommodated for me and add some potatoes on one. Also we got the chicken quesadilla. Food was freshly made and the flavor was on point. Quesabirrias had plenty of means and cheese. Also the added the soup and the salsas all well balanced for the tasty flavor. Yum. The chicken quesadilla had plenty of chicken and cheese. My guava could jot eat it because he was very full with the quesabirrias. So he saved the for next day lunch. My Gorditas were so good. I really liked the potato one. If you're thinking about coming here, just do it! The food is amazing and incredibly flavorful. The birria tacos were probably my favorite item I tried. The consomme goes well with everything. The asada and al pastor tacos were good as well and had a large portion of meat. The gorditas were also a treat and very filling with just one. They have four different salsas ranging in spice levels and I doused every bite in it. They serve the food on cute and real plates, which is a very nice touch for a food truck. I had the pleasure of attending a Yelp event for Toys For Tots at this restaurant last night, and wow, what a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and clearly excited to showcase what they do best. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. We were seated outdoors under a tent with heaters keeping everything comfortable. Even with the simple folding chairs, the team made sure we felt taken care of throughout the evening. Now, the food...chef's kiss. Every dish was bursting with fresh flavors. The entrées were beautifully seasoned. The tortillas tasted like they were made right on the spot. My favorite of the night was the quesabirria which was perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Drinks were just as impressive. The coffee was amazing. What really made the evening special was the pride the team took in explaining each dish and sharing the story behind their recipes. It felt personal and heartfelt, like being welcomed into someone's home for dinner. Huge thank you to the restaurant and Yelp for hosting such a wonderful gathering. Guisados Greicy does the standards right and has a lot of great offerings for branching out. The stand out for me here are the gorditas. My wife loved the birria. They don't have quesa-tacos, but they said I could get any kind of meat if I ordered birria tacos. Like I said, there's standard meats like asada are great, and it's been fun each time to see what random selection of guisados they'll have. There are options for everyone and always something new. The experience at this Guisados Greicy Yelp Event was amazing. It all started with a wonderful cause, to provide new, unwrapped toys to Habitat for Humanity. Then just being around great people enjoying great food. I made some new Yelp friends and look forward to seeing them in the future. The elitist of Yelpers at our table suggested Family style, and that really kicked our party into high gear. We had: Quesabirria and consomé (my favorite), Guisados on Gorditas, carnitas tacos, and Pozole. All squared out with some of the best rice and beans you will find in the Central Valley, period. They have amazing pozole, handmade gorditas, tacos and more! Parking is right in the lot. They currently have tents and plenty of heaters to keep warm. Came for the first time during the Yelp Toys for Tots event. All 6 of us in my group really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. They offer several different salsa to accompany your food that range from different spice levels. Customer service was awesome, you can tell the family is very passionate about their food and business. Parking is limited, there were about 35 people in attendance and my sister had to park behind my car. However, that shouldn't deter you from trying this spot. The food was definitely worth it. Man...these people made me feel at home. I originally ordered the food to go as I was just passing by...but i changed my mind and ate there. For a taco truck, it was so clean in the tarped seating area and theres heaters for when it's cold. They actually brought the food out to me with a server at a taco truck!!! They had 4 salsas..the habanero yellow one is actually spicy so I fell in love! The food was perfect and fresh. The only thing I would honestly not order again is the al pastor taco...it's not on a trompo and I am picky...I need it charred..but the avocado on the taco, onions and jalapeños were perfect...the asada burrito had everything you could ask for..a bit pricey but it was so worth it..I just had the other half for dinner. I got the agua fresca de pepino and it was one of the best I have ever had! I'm tired of the powder fake drinks...they make their own and you notice a huge difference. We were in the area and decided to give this place a try given the good reviews and that it was on out way. It's located inside a smallish parking lot but I didn't have trouble parking and it didn't seem like it was an issue. They had some great music playing and the set up was super cute & clean. The person who helped us order was nice and helpful. I wish the menu would have had the prices for everything. For example, the prices of the waters and gorditas was not listed. We waited for a bit for our food but got to the see the presentation of the food that was being brought out. The food was served in clay dishes which was so cute. We ended up getting three burritos, gorditas, flan, chochoflan, and 2 aguas frescas and paid close to $75. Aesthetically, the food looked great. I appreciated that they cut the burritos in half. The food had a good flavor but the portion was a bit small. 4 stars because we didn't eat there and get the full experience. Will return read more
