We did not feel rushed at all and had a more comfortable visit here. We had kids with us and they even had some building blocks to help keep the kids busy. I found the dress of my dreams and was able to take it home that day, compared to the months-wait at the other store. Sherri, the alterations specialist helped to make it fit perfectly, and was able to complete it in an extremely timely manner! Someone else showed up around 1:10 (another customer I believe). Another person showed up wanting to look around on top of that. We now have three people waiting on the owner to open up shop. Finally, at around 1:20, she arrives and we all go in. The first person to arrive after me took until around 2pm in the fitting room (they only have one) for TWO dresses. Another lady came in looking for veils and was a prissy annoyance who took up all the owner's attention. This entire time I was forced to sit and listen to two brides bicker about how amazing their dresses and weddings were going to be, and one teenager who took a lifetime to try on two simple dresses. I was paid almost no attention by the owner, while everyone else was looking around. Finally, at around a little after 2pm, I got into the fitting room with my six dresses or so. It took me about ten minutes to try them all on (5 didn't fit and the one that did wasn't right for what I needed). I immediately walked right out, said thank you and left. It's so tiny in there and there wasn't much selection as far as dresses were concerned (neither prom or bridal had good options). Keelan's fiance must have been the only one in there and that's why they received great service. I would have given no stars for this place, but that isn't an option. I planned on being out of there within 45 minutes at the most, but since it took so long, I had a lady accident that I wasn't able to fix because there was no restroom. I wouldn't go back to Forever Together Bridal, and would not recommend it to anyone else, either.

Over 6 months before my wedding I started yelping around for a good seamstress to help me with the…read morebaggy wedding dress I bought from David's Bridal. I loved the fabric, the back, the train, and the details on the dress but...hated the front/top. But for some reason I bought the dress anyways. Enter Rose and her miracle alterations! She took in the sides, removed the straps, redid a sweetheart neckline with scalloped lace detail, added boning to make up for the support lost with the straps, created a beautifully complex bustle, and made a bunch of minor tweaks so that the dress fit me like a glove. Being a smaller busted lady, this was probably the first strapless dress I've ever worn that I didn't have to keep holding up. Fittings take place in Rose's home and are always a snap to schedule and be done with. The hard part in all of this is probably making sure she has room in her busy schedule for yet another bride :) Thanks Rose for providing my dream dress! She and husband Noel worked together on our wedding setup and day-of coordination. Between the two of them and the service team they brought, every aspect of the day was covered and super easeful for me and my husband. Noel was especially helpful for set up and A/V, which was a big relief for us because we did not hire a DJ or MC. The entire team, from set-up and service to breakdown, was incredibly professional and made the day feel seamless. Avigail's florals were jaw-droppingly beautiful and to this day we get compliments from our friends and family. We were looking for a mix of tropical meets romantic for our bouquets and table arrangements. She hit the nail on the head for absolutely every arrangement (see photos). I was a guest at a recent wedding held at the Emerald Valley Event Center in Creswell. I have event…read moreplanning experience and that always makes for an interesting perspective versus that of a typical party guest. The exterior of the EVEC main building and interior lobby are a bit outdated in terms of decor. In contrast, the event hall itself is quite lovely and spacious; large sweeping view of the golf course, high ceilings with lots of wooden beams and pretty hanging light fixtures, a moderate sized wooden dance floor; fireplace with stone mantle that serves as a nice backdrop for a ceremony. The event staff was managed well; the servers were attentive and dressed professionally, and handled the changing/re-arranging of the space from ceremony to reception smoothly. The food, I'm sorry to say, was consistent with the general consensus that food at weddings is typically not memorable. As is to be expected with similar venues; to use the EVEC location and space, one most likely needs to use their caterer. While plentiful, the selections and their presentation was unimaginative and the flavor/quality was less than mediocre. The two most effective examples of this gripe would be the GINORMOUS cheese platter and a ridiculously small selection of dark brown or light brown, barely-stale slices of pullman loaf bread, and the crab cakes reeked of fish sauce. So, yes, your guests will enjoy a lovely view, competent staff, and a venue thats good for an indoor party with a nice space, pretty decor, booze and music. Their catering needs work. If I were to rate the food by my Yelp standards, it would be considerably lower than the 3, but who goes to a wedding to review (solely) the food?
