Came across this restaurant as we were exploring the beautiful little town of Todos Santos. The food was fantastic and authentic to its roots. The bucatinj was spot on and it's been awhile since I've been able to enjoy a bucatini executed how it's meant to be enjoyed and the pizza dough had a great bite and cook from the wood fired oven. We were craving pizza and found that Romantica seemed to be have a great menu and craft cocktails. We enjoyed to cacio de Pepe pizza, the bucatini and a caprese salad. These were all fantastic and well prepared. I enjoyed a Negroni and Chianti that paired very well with our dinner. The star of the show was Miriam our server. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt with her service. I have been in hospitality for 20 years and can't speak more highly of her and her service. Eddie the bartender was equally friendly and seemed to really enjoy making his guests fun and creative cocktails. Good choice for woodfired Pizza in Todo Santos. I t's a cozy corner restaurant with nicely, laid out dining area, surrounded by a semi open brick wall. Pizza is the main draw here, and they have a wood oven fired up and cranking out a large variety of them . I thought the pizzas looked a lot better than they actually tasted. Their sauces could use some work. But in a place like this, you don't expect the absolute best. The service is very friendly, cash and cards taken. I'd recommend this place as a comfortable place for date night to hang and linger over some drinks and a few appetizers to. read more

The food was fantastic. Never thought I'd be able to get super authentic and delicious Italian food in a tiny little town in Mexico. I had the rustica pizza and I could not be happier with it. The crust was delicious and it was well balanced, exactly like you would get in a good restaurant in Italy. The service was excellent. It is a beautiful restaurant comfortable and well decorated. There are several places that serve great pizza in the area - Napoli in Cerritos and Hierbabuena in Pescadero are our two favorites in the area. Romantica is now at the top of the list. Recommended by locals who runs a restaurant and bar of their own, we were glad we followed the recommendation. The place is a small and cute. The owner is definitely from Italy and the dough/crust tastes like a true Italian pizza. The prices may be a touch high for the Baja region, but it is still relatively inexpensive and reasonable. The small wine list has a few solid options from both Mexico and Italy. The service is just right - not rushed but not too slow. The salads are well made and lighty (perfectly) dressed. The roasted vegetables were thinly sliced, grilled to perfection, and seasoned just right. And the pizza was fantastic - just the right amount of crispness and chewyness to the dough, the right amount of topping, and the dough itself was so flavorful. We will be back!! The only drawback is that it is on a main street of Todos and across the street from the bus station. So occasionally there is an idling bus across the street and a bit or street noise - but if you are at a table further back you might not notice it. read more

I review for Romantica Pizzeria. This is not from me but locals in Todos Santos. Four of us went to dinner last night at Romantica pizzeria and received the worst service. 1st, They were busy and quite a few people were complaining about the service and timing of food, So I give them a whole bunch of slack for that, but after 1.5 hrs of waiting and multiple talks with the owner, they didn't care and nor did the owner. We spoke to the owner and explained to him the problems we were having. The food that we received was cold and the folks we were with did not receive their dinners. The owner was a complete ass and blamed it on us for complaining. He seemed intoxicated and didn't wanna deal with the problems his staff was causing him. Unfortunately for us, the food was excellent but the owner was unacceptable. He did not even apologize to us for the multiple mistakes that were made. BTW: we are Permanent Residents and have owned property in Mexico for a long time, so we're not tourist that over expect. We understand mistakes and how things get mixed up. I'm hoping the owner Gets to read this and remembers what happened so he does not lose his business. This is a good way to lose your business for acting like an ass and being intoxicated. I look forward to hearing other comments to see if anybody else has experienced this, I'm hoping this is an isolated incident, because we enjoyed the food so much we would like to return and give him another shot. read more

After seeing the highly favorable reviews, we couldn't pass on trying this place and hoped it would be worth a short wait. Be warned, the poor service could risk you a very lousy meal. We waited for about an hour (after 30 minutes one of the servers mentioned the pizza was coming). Then I asked about the pizza, she then brought the pizza several minutes later. It was cold and soggy. Clearly it came out of the oven and they neglected to bring it to our table for who knows how long. So hungry after waiting, not sure if worth requesting a new pizza so we ate the cold pizza. I'm glad for everyone who had great experiences here, but we'll stick to pizza elsewhere. read more

This is the Real Deal. Authentic Pizza from a real Roman Italian. The pies are baked to a crispy crust and a mouthwatering deliciousness. Wow what a delight. Long story short, our lamb chops were FROZEN and the customer service was terrible. The night before we had a nice dinner at Pizza Romantica so we decided to go back a second time. Unfortunately the second time we had a terrible situation where our lamb chops were literally FROZEN... ice cold. We explained to the manager and he took over 10 minutes to come to our table to check out the situation. We were quite disgusted so we nicely requested if we could get a pizza instead. He refused without consulting his superior 'Asalia' first and then it escalated to the point where they wanted us to pay without even eating our meal (which by the way was reheated during COVID)! The cherry on top was how rude they were. They seemed to only care about making money on the meal instead of customer satisfaction. Highly recommend. One of the best meals I had in Todos Santos. Mixta salad was fresh and delicious. The pizza crust was incredible. The only downer was the obnoxious American family that couldn't relax on vacation and complained about the time it took to get their food. Chill out. My wife and I went there one night for pizza. They have a great outdoor eating area. The restaurant is run by Italians (from Italy!), and the pizza was fantastic. We lived in Rome for 3 years so we are quite picky about pizza.... I also had a Tiramisu / Semifreddo for dessert which was excellent.
