We…read morehad an appointment at 10 am to be seen, arrived prior to the appointment time and sat and waited, an hour past and I ask about the time and there was a guy said that they were behind, I told him that I would be back, I left the truck and went on with my day. Around 2:30-3pm I called and they said that they just got it back to look at it and they told me what needed to be done to fix the problem that the truck was having, I gave consent to move forward with the repairs. Time went on it was after 5pm and I had not heard from them, I called and they said they were putting everting back together it would be ready shortly. But while telling me that he said that one of the brake lines wasn't working properly. So instead of saying "hey let me keep it overnight and get the break line fixed" they put everything back together and let us pay and drive off. Got down the road and the truck was doing the same thing it was doing before. So the following morning we called back down there and they said bring it back and they would make it right. Took it back down there and left it and later that day they called and told me that it was ready and it would be $180ish dollars, I said excuse me? He told me the cost again, I said sir I just paid you almost $900 yesterday and you think I'm going to pay additional money today because you or your techs didn't fix the truck correctly? You have me mistaken, I'm not paying any additional. Keep in mind the tech told me the day before that they were "throwing" it back together, while also telling me there was an issue with the brake line. So they knew it was going to be an issue and just wanted to get paid and send me on my way, which put my LIFE in jeopardy. What if the brakes completely failed & I had an accident and got killed or killed someone else? Jim's tire doesn't care about you as a person/customer. They are only looking for the money. The "manager" called me and told me that he would take the labor off the bill but I still needed to pay for the parts that they used. Then he said he was going to erase the whole invoice and I could go pick up the truck. He knew what they had done and he knew it wasn't right, he didn't want any issue. I told him I was going to let everyone I knew know how they done us and that we would never use them for service again. I would suggest that you do the same, avoid them at all cost. My car was at their shop for over a month and a half and that was the first disappointment as I expected no longer than three weeks. Before the three week period I expected had arrived, they asked my insurance company to grant me extra time for my car rental and said that the car would be repaired by a certain date close to the expected three week timeframe. When that date passed I called them to ask when I might expect the vehicle and another date was given. Then when that date passed I called, again, to ask when I might expect my vehicle and another date was given. That date passed and two more time dates were given for completion of the repair and still no vehicle. Long story short, bad customer service! Not once after a date was missed did they ever call me to explain why. Then finally, I got my car and the outside looked okay but the inside was terrible from sanding dust. Good business but poorly operated. If you want the run around and poor customer service, then this is the place to get your car repaired.
