Recently, I had to visit the ER, and I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful care I received from the moment I walked in until the moment I was transferred. The staff at the front desk were the first people I encountered, and they immediately made me feel welcomed and cared for. Special thanks to Tracy! I would also like to recognize the triage and laboratory staff. Although I don't remember everyone's names, I truly appreciate the efficiency and kindness they showed during a very stressful time. Their work is essential, and their compassion makes a real difference for patients. I especially want to thank Physician Assistant Muno Sheekh-Nuur for the exceptional care, empathy, and professionalism she provided. She took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make me feel safe and heard. Her quality of care and genuine human connection represent the very best of healthcare. I left the ER with a deep sense of gratitude, knowing I had received the highest level of both medical care and human compassion. Experiences like mine remind me how fortunate we are to have such dedicated professionals at our beloved local hospital. A hospital's greatest strength is not only its equipment or facilities, but the people who work there. The worst administration staff and service I've experienced in any field. even National Grid is more personable and accommodating than the staff here. They can't get appointments right. They can't get scripts right. Plan on calling back several times to accomplish anything. read more

ABSOLUTE JOKE. Me and my partner came here to get her seen for severe Tachycardia and dehydration and nurse was more helpful doctor. The doctor had gotten the information we needed over an hour before we had received the news ourselves. Luckily it wasn't something super serious, however it could have been a matter of life or death and the urgency wasn't respected. This place is a joke and the entire staffing department besides the acception of about three people should be investigated, pulled for misconduct, and stripped of their positions. Because NOBODY takes their job seriously and they're too busy cracking jokes too take care of the patients they're employed to look after/caref for. read more

Brought 5 year old in ER. They wanted to remove her appendix rushed her to the Children's Hospital in Syracuse New York and they said it was swollen lymph nodes quite a different story when you're thinking of removing body parts. read more

I was seen 2 days ago for an ear that had been bleeding for 10 hours. I was advised to go to the emergency room. I went to Rome Hospital as I was in Rome at the time. I advised them I was on Coumadin and Lovenox and had the propensity to bleed. This was the sum total of my treatment: my vitals were taken, we reviewed medications, they looked in my ear and then sent me on my way with a piece of gauze for me to hold there. Mind you I was driving. My ear bled for another 36 hrs. There was a nurse, an Np and a Dr who "treated" me. All were quite young and were to busy cracking jokes than treat me. I called my Dr and he was disgusted. I wouldn't take a rat to be seen there the care is so bad. I absolutely hate this place. This is not the first bad experience I have had there but rest assured it is the last. I even endured stroke symptoms on New Years Eve because I would not be treated there. They should be discredited as they are not even as good as a school nurses office read more
