Steven and Richardo are the most honest repair shop front end managers you can meet. You might not like the answer, but it's the truth and the best they can possibly do. I have been a regular customer for three years now. Recently, I was low on oil and strapped for cash for a regularly scheduled oil change. But stupid me overfilled it. The check engine came on. After calling Steven, he said Paul, check if you overfilled it. Sure as shoot. I HAD. He said clear the check engine light by undoing the negative of the battery and go get an oil change. ZIP ZAP ZOOP. BACK TO NORMAL. Any place else would have milked you. These guys pride themselves on integrity and customer service. That is why I will never go any place else for my truck maintenance. Then we drove the car maybe 10 miles and noticed that when I engaged the clutch it would stop the car. I knew it had to do with the tow brake we had installed which is a cable that runs from the bumper to the pedal. So I called Bob who at first said he couldn't get to us until Sunday (This is Thursday) and when I told him we were trying to leave Salinas Sunday he got us in that day at 2. Get a call around 11 from Bob saying he's on his way. Bob gets here and looks at what's going on and takes the time to watch multiple videos on YouTube to understand the project. An adjustment to the breakaway lock by placing it 1/4 of an inch back took care of my problem and he only charged the initial fee. I can't recommend this gentleman enough if you want an honest mechanic with a great ethic.

From the beginning, they genuinely cared about helping us solve the problem instead of just trying to sell us unnecessary repairs. Their honesty, experience, and commitment to customer satisfaction really set them apart. Our check engine light kept coming on because of the mass airflow sensor. I had replaced it myself at least a dozen times using a sensor purchased from a local auto parts store, but the problem always came back. Michelle's years of experience led her to suggest that the issue might be that the replacement sensor wasn't an OEM part. We took her advice, installed an OEM sensor, and the problem has been completely resolved ever since. Sometimes it's not about replacing more parts, it's about having the knowledge and experience to diagnose the problem correctly.
