An inviting bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown Mount Sterling with excellent cuisine. Romeros is a place to meet and eat that you will truly enjoy. I highly recommend.

Brownie for desert. It has chocolate chips and peanut butter.

Relaxed, inviting and intimate atmosphere. Alex our waitress was very pleasant and helpful with the menu. She made wonderful suggestions. The breaded ravioli was shockingly mesmerizing and came with 2 distinct sauces to try. The salad (forgot to take a photo) was an amazing mix of greens that had me wishing I'd gotten a large salad. The lemon caper salmon was phenomenal. Spaghetti noodles in a very light sauce topped with salmon that was not too fishy, capers and more sauce. The brownie was a delight. Soft and mouth melting, topped with a creamy icing and peanut butter drizzle along with chocolate chips. My husband had the piccata and was also delighted. We will definitely be back to try other flavors.

Alex makes the best Blackberry Margaritas!

Leono's has a reputation for great pizza. I have heard about it from friends and neighbors since I…read moremoved to Central Kentucky. So today I stopped in with my father for lunch. Unfortunately my dad wasn't in the mood for pizza because he loves their fettuccini alfredo. So I took a quick poll from some surrounding patrons and ordered a Stromboli. (spaghetti was a close second, so I have to return for both pizza AND spaghetti!) The restaurant is large and provides lots of seating in tables or booths. I was informed on Friday and Saturday allow for some wait time to be seated. But since I went on a Tuesday afternoon we were seated right away. Our server was very nice and attentive. The dining area and pick up counter were immaculate. The menu was double sided, one side devoted to various pizza options and appetizers. The back of the menu was pasta dishes and sandwiches. There were salads and dessert options as well. Everything looked and sounded delicious. My dad's fettuccine looked great, he ordered a small size portion that looked very generous. He also had cheese and garlic breadsticks that looked wonderful. The Stromboli was excellent. It came fully loaded and had ruffles style potato chips as a side. It was an average size sandwich compared to what you might get at a subway sandwich place, but it was enough and it was very tasty. I will definitely return for pizza, when I told my neighbor we had lunch at Leono's his face lit up and he asked "did you get a pizza?!" when I said no he looked disappointed in me. I assured him it was on my list and he invited himself to go with me. Try them out- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The pasta is cooked to perfection and very rarely, is the pasta overcooked. The portions are substantial and the prices are well below the chain Italian restaurants. They don't have the expensive Italian ambience, but they have good food at good prices and I can't remember the last time we had bad service. We live close, so we go to here a couple times a month.

She gave me the BEST recommendation of dinner and it was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten in my life. And I consider myself well travelled. She was prompt, polite, and didn't interrupt every thirty seconds and genuinely let us vibe. She was phenomenal. The food. I can't even. The fresh baked bread was fluffy and warm. The olive oil was well seasoned. The entrees were so tasty I thought I was in heaven. My husband got a weird named pasta but was very pleased, it was wrapped chicken on creamy rice. And I got the chicken Parmesan, but subbed the marinara for Alfredo, and got fettuccini noodles instead. Best decision EVER. We got dessert and that was a homemade cream puff and some homemade icecream. He got a glass of wine, and I got the peach Bellini. Everything was so good. And it doesn't feel like Olive Garden or a generic place. It's really quaint and well decorated giving real Italy vibes. Or so I would imagine.

Occasionally I've been annoyed with their waiting and seating policies over the years but the food is worth it.
