My food came out fast within about 10 minutes which was perfect for a workday lunch. I was warned it was a messy dish and took that as a challenge and challenge accepted. It was definitely messy but absolutely worth it. So cheesy, flavorful and filling. Easily one of the best fast food style replica dishes I've had. No shade to Taco Bell but this version is on a whole different level with better tasting ingredients and way more flavor. Taco Bell should be getting their recipe for their Crunchwrap and make changes to their menu to match this one. So so damn good! All that and it's just under $8. I ordered the meatloaf meal, which came with mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned green beans, and a cornbread patty. Every bite was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot-on, and the price was incredibly affordable. What truly sets this place apart, though, is Donna, the owner. I had the pleasure of meeting her, and her heart for the community is unmatched. She shared that she offers food for anyone up to age 18 with no questions asked, provides a discount and dessert for first-time patrons, and offers 50% off for seniors. You can genuinely feel that this is a place rooted in kindness, care, and giving back. Bluegrass Tavern is more than just a restaurant, it's a wholesome, welcoming space that serves fantastic food while uplifting its community. My husband ordered unsweet tea, which ended up being nasty, sone designer tea with mango and passion fruit in it. They replaced it with water. We did ask for a refund and got it. My daughter ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. However, the sauce was also nasty, some kind of Ale 8 mess. They replaced it with a different pizza. However, we then had to wait once again for the new pizza. WILL NOT GO BACK!
