You want something super quick and easy and because there is nothing else around, your "last stop" or maybe "last resort" is this pizza shop. Knowing what a bind you've put yourself in, as a self-respecting adult you accept any and all repercussions of your lack of forethought or effort to have or cook food at the house. You set your expectations appropriately low and give Last Stop a phone call to place an order for pickup. A very kind and polite person answers the phone and takes your order. You're already pleasantly surprised. 15-20 minutes and your pizza will be ready. You diddle daddle for a few and then go a very short drive to pick up your order. You arrive and you're greeted by another very polite and well-mannered young person at the drive-up window who retrieves your pizza and collects payment. You notice by looking in through the window that the place is neat, tidy and clean. Your wife opens the pizza box and exclaims how good it looks despite having no real crust. You arrive back home and quickly tear into the pizza because you're starved and in a pinch. The pizza is hot, has plenty of cheese and isn't super greasy. Now is it the best pizza you've ever had? Of course not, but you wouldn't expect it to be. Does it eat? You bet your buns it does. After a slice or two, you begin to pinpoint where the pie's weakness lies--the crust. Neither crispy nor fluffy, the crust verges on chewy, but you don't let that stop you from enjoying another slice. Last Stop places the pepperonis and any other toppings underneath the cheese. This prevents the pepperonis from getting crispy and flavorful, though likely keeps the pie from getting greasy. A trade off that, though regrettable, is not a dealbreaker for this reviewer. Service was excellent, pizza was good enough and I'm happy.

This is not only the best cauliflower crust pizza I've ever had, but this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I'm shocked at just how great this pizza is. I've always loved their regular flour crust, but I actually believe the cauliflower crust they offer is better than their regular crust. It's only available in the 10 inch size pizza, and cost a little more, but it sure is worth it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this review, because I really believe this cauliflower crust pizza is one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. A+++++

Our waitress was very nice, and when we told her she forgot our straws for our drink, she immediately apologized and gave them to us. Their cheesy bread was really good, along with the sauces we got with it (garlic butter and marinara.) We got the supreme pizza, and normally I'm not a huge fan of supremes, but this was BY FAR probably the best supreme I've ever had, maybe even just the best pizza I've had period. The crust is great, the sauce is amazing, and the toppings are some of the best in Frankfort! The building is also well maintained, they play some pretty good music! I like the decorations like the jerseys hanging off the ceiling and the paintings on the wall. I'll definitely be coming back, and if you're reading this review I would DEFINITELY recommend going here. Definitely deserves the five stars!

We decided to try a couple of different pies to see what this place had to offer. We started with The Kentuscany. This pizza was made with smoked pork, goat cheese, sweet red onions, and bourbon sorghum reduction. The crust had a great chew, texture, and crunch. There is a great buttery, salty flavor that melts in your mouth. The pork was dry but had good taste and some smoky notes. The red onion adds crunch, while the goat cheese has an incredible salty creaminess that the sorghum reduction mellows out and cuts through with its sweetness. The next pizza we sampled was a Cheese pizza with pepperoni, beef, and banana peppers. Once again, the crust was phenomenal with a great crunch, buttery flavor, and chew. The cup pepperoni was mild in spice with good beef flavor. The beef had a good, mellow taste, but it was dry and overcooked. The banana peppers add a great acid from the vinegar, but the cheese didn't have the melty, ooey-gooey stretch that pizza should have, almost like the cheese was out of a bag. Mama's also offers a Savor Flight of their sauces or dips. We tried the Marinara, Tuscany Ranch, Calabrian Chili Ceaser, and Pesto. The ranch was very thick, fresh, and dill-forward, with a cooling balance and a hint of salt. This was some of the best homemade ranch that I have ever had. The chili was salty, with a lot of heat on the backend, and the Parmesan cheese added texture. The marinara was thick and chunky, with delicious tomato flavor. The pesto was vibrant green, chunky, fresh, and had great flavor and texture from the pine nuts. However, all of the sauces were served cold. The ranch and Calabrian Chili were fine that way, but the marinara and pesto should have been served warm. Mama's features a small menu of pizzas, salads, sandwiches, breadsticks, and desserts, plus a full bar with beer and wine. The Fat Man says that Mama Devechio's Pizzeria is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.

Our group of three had fun ordering three pizzas and mixing and matching. I had the very unique "Kentuscany," made with smoked pork, goat cheese, sweet red onions, and house-made bourbon sorghum reduction. A little sweet for me (no surprise there), but I appreciated the flavors. Another member of our group had the La Cicciona, made with ground beef, Italian sausage, ham, and pepperoni. I felt this pie could have used a little more seasoning. Another peep had the pesto di pollo, made with pesto, roasted chicken, artichoke hearts, red onions, and pine nuts. I'm not a fan of these types of pizzas, but this one was quite flavorful. I really appreciated it. Savory and delicious. They also have fungi (mushroom) pizzas, pepperoni, veggie, plain cheese pizzas. You can also make your own pizzas with various toppings. Anti-pasta includes: meatballs, spicy kale cesar salad, spaghetti. They have wine and cocktails as well. I had the sidecar, made with brandy, lemon juice, and orange liqueur. Very refreshing, a little on the sweet and thick side. Attentive service.

We decided to venture over to Miguel's Pizza and see what offerings they had in store. Miguel's Pizza, a favorite among hikers and climbers, offers a variety of options, including healthy choices, and has a casual, rustic atmosphere in a historic building, with both indoor and outdoor seating. You can order pizza by the slice to mix and match, or order it whole. We ordered two slices of pepperoni. The crust was thin and crispy, but still had some good chew. However, it lacked flavor and was slightly dry. The crust reminds me of a frozen, pre-made crust. The sauce was thin, slightly sweet, but lacked flavor beyond the sweetness, and the slice could have used more sauce to help bite into the crust. The cheese was light on the pizza and lacked any pull, almost as if it were from a bag at the store. The pepperoni was thin and cut into different sizes, with an adequate amount on each slice and a nice amount of grease, heat, and chew. This was enjoyable on the pizza. We also ordered a couple of Margherita slices. The crust again had a good crunch but lacked flavor. There was a nice toast on the bottom. The cheese, as before, was light on the pizza, which is fine, but no pull again. The sauce was maybe a little lighter on these slices and lacked much flavor. The tomato and basil were fresh, but there wasn't much of either on the slices, leaving the pizza bare and us wanting more toppings. Miguel's menu offers several pizza options they specialize in, a build-your-own option, and salads, pasta, soups, and sandwiches, with options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also offer beer and wine options with soft drinks. The Fat Man says that Miguel's Pizza is NOT Fat Man Approved.

Finding Mediterranean cuisine anywhere can be difficult, but having such fine Mediterranean food…read moreright in the heart of Lancaster is nearly unbelievable. This place has a name and an exterior that hides what it really is--an understated place with massive Mediterranean flavor and quality. Tonight my wife and I came in around 7 or so on a Saturday night, an hour before they closed and with a show going on at the Lancaster Grand across the street. We were their second to last customer for the night. The place was packed when we got in, with close to 10 parties seated. One was a very large group. Working was the owner at the grill, his wife on apps and plating, and one young man waiting tables and bussing. We overheard that their second waiter had called in that night--naturally your help calls in on your busiest nights. It is likely for this reason that the lady below left her unsavory review about the wait time. She was probably hungry and they probably had somebody call in, and they went to their show hungry so she took it out on this restaurant's page on Yelp. I'd say that blame falls on her lacking perspective more than this restaurant lacking quality. Some folks from the area may not be accustomed to food like this, and it may not hit them right. But folks who know good food will love this place, as we heard multiple other patrons raving about how good their food was. Ours was no exception. I got the three kabob shawarma platter which was excellent (though the "market price" for it ended up being an astounding $46. The idea must be to share it among two or three folks.) My wife really enjoyed her hummus with chopped up chicken shawarma and roasted almonds, just superb with the pita chips and pita bread served alongside. Y'all, the hummus is special here. The food options in Lancaster are limited. You've got your standard bbq spots, the little pasta place around the corner in the Lancaster square which I've reviewed separately, your token Mexican restaurant, and then your fast food chains. This spot is a real hole in the wall that outshines all of them when it comes to flavor, while putting on no airs. Just be prepared to sit back, wait patiently to be served, and maybe inquire as to what the "market price" is if you (like me) weren't intending to come away spending $75 after tip (having ordered waters to drink).

We saw a man and a woman fixing food and three wait staff in the restaurant. The place seemed pretty busy, too, which we took as a good sign. We placed an order for two shawarma plates and a hummus appetizer. Then we sat. We heard a man sitting at the bar say he had been waiting for his food for over half an hour. Uh oh. We heard the lady behind the counter fixing food yelling at the wait staff for the back up of orders. We asked about our appetizer two times when the staff came to check on us. We had been there over half an hour, and once we heard the lady tell them she would fix it but she never did. As we had plans to catch a show at Grand, we finally got up and left after sitting there for about an hour with no food coming out to us. Unfortunately, no matter how good the food might be, with service like this we do not plan to visit again.
