What an amateur! How many times did I state, "I want to remove the red, and have my hair colored light brown". I told Romeo this 9 times! After 5 1/2 hours, my hair was black! During the consultation, I showed him TWO photos of the color I wanted so I don't understand why he did not deliver! I have waist length hair, and I understood fully that the process was going to be lengthy. He gave me some cock and bull story about foiling and rings, and the history of my hair, YET he failed to do what he told me he was going to do. I could only deduce that he did not to spend the time correcting my hair color. He masked it by just coloring it with a dark color! I left Romie's crying! I told Romeo that he did not color it the col r I asked for! It was NOT what I asked for! He DID NOT CARE for my HAIR! He charged me $150.00! Again, not listening to me. He just wanted me to leave. Believe me, I did leave, and I am never returning! I now have to find another colorist who can fix Romeo and Romie's mess. It is clear to me that he lacks the skill to be a true colorist, a true professional! He is very lazy, and is just not up to the task to do his job. read more

I loved this place! I had already tried a couple of other places. One place I even tried going back for a second haircut, thinking this time would be better...nope. The haircuts were ok. They weren't terrible, I just was happy with my haircut. I finally took a leap of faith. I called Romie's and made an appointment with who ever was available. They scheduled me with Cindy. Oh my gosh! She was GREAT! She's quick and very pleasant. And my haircut was spot on! I recommend this place to whoever asks me. read more

I found this place right by my apartment complex. As most women are, I was pretty hesitant having someone new do my hair. I just moved here from Michigan and was in desperate need of a cut. I got paired up with Cindy and she did an absolutely amazing job! She was also very knowledgeable. I got so many compliments on my new style! Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is nice and clean! I am not one to review places but I decided to share my review. I went in with dark hair and I wanted a drastic change to blonde. I knew it was going to be a process and I was okay with it. My first time there after Adrian finished, some girl charged me $80. I left and Adrian called me, telling me that I was charged wrong, that i I owed $100 more because the total was $180! I had even left a $20 tip! Instead of letting it go because it was their mistake, the second time I went, I got charged $180 for that day plus $100 from last time!! So I got charged $280 that day and I still left a good tip. Adrian had already worked on my hair twice, I decided to go back for a third time. Finally Adrian got my hair how I wanted it. I even bought expensive extensions that matched my new hair color. I was happy. So after a few months I went in for a retouch.. I don't know if I was speaking Chinese but I just wanted a shadow root to blend in with my blonde hair. I specifically told Adrian not to touch the blonde because it was perfect and my extensions matched. When he finished I almost cried but I was so embarrassed I didn't say a thing, I paid and left. I called Adrian later that day and I told him my hair was purple and orange and my blonde hair was damaged and my hair felt so ugly! He told me to use purple shampoo and that would help. After a few days my hair was worse and my scalp burned for a whole week. I wore a hat for a week because I was so embarrassed and I was about to start school I didn't know what to do. I decided to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed and I had to get it cut too because my hair was too damaged. I was so sad. I ran into Adrian at Walmart and he asked me why I went back to dark hair and I told him because he left my hair purple and orange. After a lot of money and time spend I haven't gone back there again. Now my hair hasn't grown since then and I have tried many things to grow it out but it doesn't. Fabulous, chic salon. The moment I walked in, I knew that I'd be working with highly experienced professionals. A coworker (whose hair color is incredible) referred me to Mariah, at Romi's Hair Ink. I found Mariah's Instagram account and sent her a message, inquiring about when she could fit me in her schedule. Prior to my appointment, Mariah asked for a photo of my hair, front and back, so that she knew what she was working with and how long to schedule my appointment. Once I arrived, I showed her pictures of the cut that I wanted and asked for her opinion on my balayage color. From her Instagram photos, I trusted her opinion. My hair appointment was the fastest, most enjoyable appointment I ever had. Mariah and the rest of the staff were very kind. The chairs and wash stations are very new and modern. You can tell the owners spares no expense. I saw various ages enter the salon for services from about 8 to 60. They gave the young girl that looked about 8, the most adorable braid! Nice to see such versatility in styling and that they cater to all ages. It's a little disappointing that many balagaye stylist in town only cater to young, "pretty" women. I highly recommend anyone to this salon! read more
