I made another appointment but had to cancel the day of due to a serious medical condition. They informed me there was a cancellation fee of half of the total amount for one session. I was furious and total them I wanted to cancel everything. They said I still owe from one session toward the membership. This was in February 2026. They also informed me that I had a certain time frame to use the remaining credits, which was three. They said I had until April 30th to use all credits. My sister is coming to visit May 2nd and I called their establishment to see if could use the credits for her and I. I spoke with Justine and she said I could. Someone else called me back and informed me that since the it was past April 30th the company has a policy that my time had lapsed and I would have to pay for the scheduled appointments. Hand and Stone cares more about profit than customer service. I would never recommend their establishment to anyone. Go somewhere that the owners care about service. The only reason they even receive one star from me was because of their tech Jade.

The decor was interesting, lots of Hollywood references and they sold clothes there, which is odd. There was one worker and she was in the middle of cutting a client's hair. She welcomed me and gestured for me to sit as I asked if she took walk ins. She finished working on the client and then took her mother to get her hair done. She indicated it would be a quick trim, she was right, the lady working was really good and fast. She cleaned in between clients and was so nice to my daughter. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she definitely matched it! She quickly cut 8 inches off her hair and cut it exactly as I wanted, making sure about the length and angle of the cut. She was very precise and gentle which I loved. She blow-dried my daughter's hair and cleaned the hair off her neck and face. The bangs are straight, my daughter just ran her hands thru it right before I took a picture. Best off all the haircut was $12! I gave her a $20 and she was so surprised and appreciative. I told her she did good work and deserved it. We'll be back when her hair grows again as I really love how fast she was. He grabbed huge sections to do 22 passes at around 400 degrees. That's more damaging than taking intentional passes with smaller sections. I booked a Brazilian blowout and this isn't even close to the sleekness you could get with a revlon blow drying round brush from Walmart. $275 for the "Brazilian blowout".
