Pretty nifty place. Owner and the staff are terrific, too! It's comfortable, serene setting is perfect for reading, relaxing or meeting up. It's very small with only a few tables, but most folks are carrying-out. I had a tasty white chocolate mocha, but easily could go for a cappuccino, latte or americano. Mrs. E. recommends one of their wonderful bubble tea drinks, sweet potato, to be exact. I'm curious to try their vanilla bean on the next visit. Enjoy Macaroons, Macarons and Mochi. I was waiting next door for my daughter to take her driving test this morning and stumbled upon this gem. I went in for a coffee and found a beautiful little shop with cakes and drinks. I met the owner and ordered a latte which was very good. I remembered that I needed a cake for my wife's birthday and started looking in the counter. All of the cakes looked amazing, but my family loves mango so I decided on the mango/fresh cream cake. We were not disappointed, absolutely delicious and light. Visited on a Thursday night around 7pm for a dessert. They still had a decent amount of options for it being late in the day. We ordered 2 pieces of cake and the total was around $14. Another one of those places that I can't believe I haven't written a review for yet because I absolutely love love love Blossom! It's located in the plaza right next to Meijer on Rochester and Auburn, across from the Hampton Village Centre plaza. I feel like Blossom is one of the hidden gems of Rochester. It's Asian-owned, which we love to see, and they make the most delicious and unique pastries and goodies! They have all sorts of drinks like coffee and teas and boba, but my personal favorites here and what I believe to be their showstoppers are their sweets! They make the best macarons for miles and miles and always carry both traditional (vanilla bean, nutella, etc.) and unique flavors (fruity pebbles, cookies and cream, lychee rose, etc.). They also carry delicious cookies in the same - traditional and unique flavors - and hot cocoa bombs of all kinds! Blossom does super special limited edition/themed goodies throughout the year as well. I've gotten the whole set of their Taylor Swift Eras macarons, the Lunar New Year macarons, their ube cream paczki on Fat Tuesday, the Pokeball hot cocoa bombs that has a meringue surprise Pokemon inside, and so much more! I love Blossom for being so consistent in the amazing quality of their goodies, while also being able to be so creative with their offerings as well! It's truly a treat every time I come here to see my favorites in the display case while also getting to discover new soon-to-be favorite items as well! All the staff here are so friendly as well! This cute little shop is the perfect place for a delicious treat. They have macarons at $3 a piece, cookies $1.90-3 a piece depending on the kind, and brownies for $3.75. They have specialty lattes to go with your treat along with frozen ones. If you do get a cookie, the salted caramel is amazing. The staff asked if I wanted it warmed up. It tasted better warmed up. They sometimes have day old cookies or broken ones for a cheaper price. Those cookies taste just as good as the fresh ones! The macarons are amazing. I would like to start with how clean everything was during my visit! Including the bathroom! There's lots of different treats to choose from! My friend suggested we try Rommy Cake and Coffee in Rochester, new to us. I guess new to most everyone as they only opened a month ago. I chose spinach feta lattice pastry and coffee and it did not disappoint. Flaky pastry with melt in your mouth filling! We shared pieces of strawberry cake and Oreo cake. Both were delicious and not too sweet. Perfectly creamy frosting with a sugared strawberry on top. The Oreo cake had a surprise crunch in the middle! This is a small, cozy place, very cute! Came here looking for Blossom Cafe and was shocked to see it was gone. In its place was an adorable cafe that still served boba (phew, crisis averted) and other sweet treats. Interior design was absolutely gorgeous, the place was totally transformed in the best way. Very cute, very classy! I just got strawberry boba with popping pearls, there's a standard selection which was good for a coffee place. Overall, I hope this place does well! I originally stopped in today around 1pm and had a really delicious iced lavender latte (requested half the sweetener they normally use and it was still pretty sweet), a blueberry muffin cookie which was unique and delicious, and a mooncake (traditional chinese delicacy served during mid autumn festival). I came here after hearing good reviews from my mom. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its hype. The milk tea is powdered. I ordered a black milk tea with taro and boba. It was a weird room temperature flavor from the start of my drink to the end. Sigh. My bf ordered a milk tea mango with lychee in it. Taste and temperature wise it was much better than mine. The ice actually cooled down the drink. I wonder if the green tea would be better but I'm not rushing to go back. The saving grace of this place is the macarons! They're cute and well designed. The taste was delightful and that first bite just melted in your mouth. I wont go out of my way to get macarons but they were quite yummy and the highlight of this place. Easily the best macarons in the area, baked fresh onsite. Whenever I'm back in Michigan I like to stop by and pick some up for the family. Also a nice pick me up for myself. Hehe. They're currently curbside pickup only and all prices are listed online on their order page. I called instead to get a better idea of what flavors are currently available and to get a special box assembled for grandma. They were super friendly and helpful recommending flavors based on taste preferences. Also very patient with all my questions. Pro tip for those who aren't picky - get the Clearance Macaron. They're the same size or bigger than the normal macarons, $1 cheaper per, and taste just as good. Also fun trying to guess the flavors. A few I got were just not perfectly circular (read, larger) versions of their normal priced siblings. Favorite flavor you ask? Still probably the Mint Chocolate. And if it were Buxom Cafe And Bakery, then it'd be... well, yes, Barbie again. Michigan is devoid of good Bubble Tea, honestly. Momo in Lansing and both locations of KFT (Lansing and Detroit burbs) are notable exceptions. That leaves a lot of decent places, and this is one of those. Blossom is a cute little Bubble Tea place with lots of really nice options and really great service as well from a truly attentive and extremely intelligent owner. Granted, it didn't blow me away but then very little in Michigan does in the way of boba. Still definitely worth a stop if you are a boba fan. And very popular with the locals, too. And if you sit in this place and do nothing for hours, it's Boredom Cafe And Bakery. And if it's named after the kinds of boys I date, it's Boss'-Son Cafe And Bakery. So, after smashing on some good Indian lunch buffet. We were in need for some hot drinks perfect for digestion. That and some dessert to go with these yummy hot drinks. I had the Matcha Frappuccino hot and my hubby went with the Taro Coconut Boba. Mine was pretty good, served unsweetened so I can sweeten it myself. Perfect blend of steamed milk and matcha. My hubby's bubble tea is delish as well. I'd get both drinks again if given the chance. Their macarons are pretty nice. Perfectly executed, light pleasant crunch, moist inside.
