I have lots of cousins who live in Canada, many and most of them from my mom's side of the family. So whenever balikbayans come over, our place is the immediate choice for accommodations Balikbayan's all cry for one thing when they are in their Bayang Magiliw - Filipino Food! Our abrupt choice will always have to be Romulo Café for five things: 1. The food is definitely good - Order Crisp Pata, Kare-kare and Gising-gising and you're good to go. 2. There's a story to tell - I can't remember how many times I told the story of Romulo Café being the owner of Carlo P. Romulo's kin, the Filipino diplomat who... 3. It's pleasant looking - Romulo Café offers a modern design that clean, crisp and refreshing to the eyes 4. The staffs are all refined - Seriously, I have never seen a better crew that knows their food that well. 5. It's super near our place - You can count 1 - 40 and you'll reach the place already.

Excellent customer service with delicious meals and plenty of options on their menu. This is our second time dining at Locavore but first time at Brixton Street in Estancia location. Customer service at Brixton Street, Estancia is consistent with the BGC location. The staff is also very well versed with food allergies. The staff was great every step of the way from seating, to ordering, to delivering our orders on a timely manner and until the very end. Our party of 11 ordered 2 of everything like to name a few of what we ordered are, Pakbet Ratatouille, Octadobo, Oyster Palabok sa Puti, Tapsilog, Boneless Lechon Belly, Dragonfruit chips and many more. We look forward to dining at Locavore every time we visit Philippines. Locavore both provided delicious food and excellent customer service.

I'd been wanting to try Filipino food, and this place came highly recommended by some locals. The food was incredible. I tried the sizzling sinigang, and it completely surprised me. The flavor was sour, savory, and comforting all at once. I also had the oyster sisig, which was crispy, rich, and perfect with a cold San Miguel beer. Every dish came out hot and well-presented. The restaurant itself has a great vibe!!! lively but not too loud. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially since I wasn't too familiar with Filipino dishes. They explained what everything was and even suggested a few must-tries. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Philippines. And I'll definitely come back next time!
