I inquired about a Kia EV6 on the Ron Bouchard Kia website listed at $23,999. I live in NY and I was told there was someone local coming to look at the car that night, and they'd call if it was still available after that. I said yes, please call, because I would buy the car. The local customer bought the car that night. Fast forward two weeks; I get a call from Ron Bouchard Kia saying the buyers brought the car back because they didn't want it anymore, and was I still interested in buying it? I say yes. They send me a link to the car - surprise, it's now listed at $26,990. I ask if they'll sell it to me at the price it was previously listed at just two weeks ago. Answer: no. The price is now $26,990 because "when you first inquired about this vehicle, it was listed at our lowest price due to how long it had been on our lot. Now that it's newly back in inventory, the pricing has been adjusted to reflect current market values. If anything changes on your end feel free to reach out!" If this is how you want to be treated as a customer, I guess buy a car at Ron Bouchard Kia. read more

Buying my car was a quick, easy and great experience. But both my daughter and I bought used cars that as soon as we drove them off the lot started falling apart. Bought the extended warranty, but the service department from day one refuses to fix anything. I'd give zero stars if I could. They had my car for a while through out my whole pregnancy since the car needed a new engine. I received my car a month before my child was born. They were going back and forth with me when I was able to get it. Kept saying the engine and parts were on back order. Which I understand but at the same time they were refusing to answer any of my questions. They also didn't give me a rental, said that my car wasn't the only one acting like this.When I finally received it, they emptied out my gas. When asking about if they would give me my money back since I brought it with a full tank, they told me they would need to speak to the manager about this. Since then they have not got back to me in almost 6 months. I highly do not recommend going to the dealer for any repairs. read more

We are incredibly happy with our Kia. The quality is fantastic and the functionality/features/performance of the vehicle is simply amazing! Beyond happy with the vehicle!! Our experience with Ron Bouchard has so far been positive. They are somewhat typical as far as dealerships. Sales is not too pushy, but as with any dealership, they make money on sales, upgrades, and service and as such have been predicable with their tactics. They confidently declare they are different from other dealers because they don't charge above sticker price, which appears to be true, but I wouldn't consider it a selling point. While I appreciate not paying above sticker, I would never pay above sticker so this doesn't help much. While I appreciate the straight forward pricing and I would love to believe that they are better than other dealers, anytime someone tells me to trust them, it sets off a bunch of alarms in my head and I worry that if they have to tell me that, instead of discovering that on my own, is it true? Either way, the vehicle is absolutely amazing and we truly love it. I can't say it enough, we LOVE OUR KIA! We also have a Porsche Cayenne and the Kia is as good or better than the Porsche. Nonetheless, the sales process is standard and the honesty/knowledge/promises are as always, questionable. With all that said, would I return to Ron Bouchard Kia? Yes, more for the quality of the vehicle and the convenience of the dealer location. read more

Stay away from Ron Bouchard's Kia Since I've posted this review Ron Bouchard has submitted multiple inquiries on my credit without permission. To Bree's response we revived a copy likely by mistake from your sales staff which was different than the number Jason verbally quoted. Your sales manager couldn't even present a consistent story. ------- Another credit score scammer. Jason the sales manager presented himself as an honest guy until it came time to start the deal. We literally told them we went to a dealer and they presented a false report. We know these numbers are false because another dealer pulled the same report with a different number. When we questioned them about the false score they told us the difference must have been the hard inquires as if running your report costs you over 70 points. We had high hopes for this dealership becuis run by a woman. Shame on you for hiring sales managers who do not treat women like as capable and deserving of respect. Again we are ready to buy and Kia + Ron Bouchard fails to deliver. read more

In August of 2021 my engine seized on my Kia Optima. Because of the pandemic and lack of availability at most dealerships close by, Ron Bouchard Kia seemed to be the only one available to take care of my car in a reasonable amount of time. Other dealerships were giving me estimates of 2-3 months. In good faith I towed my car there. It was about 10 days before I heard any update on my car so I decided to call and check in. I spoke to both Ryan and Tyler and they told me they were waiting on parts. Now, in the meantime, I had to go out and get my own rental car as they were not able to provide me with one. The reason for this was they had no available cars due to the high demand and low inventory. I get that. I myself have worked through the pandemic and understand that times are tough. On Friday, September 3rd, the start of a major holiday weekend, they called me to tell the parts came in and I would have my car returned to me within the next several days. However, the next day, Saturday September 4th, they called me and told me my car was ready for pick up! Wow, that was fast! Great! I couldn't believe it. I returned my rental as soon as I could since I did not want to get stuck paying for any extra days since the money was coming out of my own pocket. I then got dropped off at Kia by a friend to pick up my car. I went to start it and it was not running properly. It started to lag. I expressed my concerns to Ryan and he told me that he would have the technicians address it. A few moments later Ryan came out to tell me that nothing obvious was found and that most likely it was "bad gas" and I should drive the car around until the gas light comes on. Then add new/fresh gas to the car. Against my better judgement I listened to his advice and left. The engine light came back on, only to have my car towed back to Kia for a second time less than 24 hours of having it back. On Tuesday, September 7th, Tyler called me to inform me that the fuel pump was reading an error message and that it would be fixed as a priority that day. I asked him, "how could this be missed? How did the technicians not hear or see that my car was lagging to start? Did they drive the car after they fixed it?" It appears to me they "fixed" my car and never drove it based off of the obvious lag to start. Both Ryan and Tyler said that they did drive it. If they did drive it, why on my paperwork is my mileage clocked in as the same number of miles clocked out? Tyler assured me someone would drive the car prior to me picking it up this time, which it did appear someone drove it about 10 miles or so. My main frustration with this dealership is the fact that I am now out almost $675 in rental fees, that they will not reimburse me for. The first rental cost me $489. The second rental $186. Not only did my car fall under a recall, but it also fell under the Kia powertrain warranty. A rental should have been provided from day one! If they could not provide me with a rental, reimbursement should have been included. Now I am dealing with Kia Consumer Affairs and they are not being helpful whatsoever. Epiq, the settlement company in charge of the recall, is also not getting this resolved. I had the knock sensor detection software update done prior to my engine seizing, but I am being told there was a deadline to have this done by? How is this possible on a recall? A deadline for a software update? Seems very odd to me. Even Kia Consumer Affairs agreed. Why should I be out of money on not only one rental car??? But two??? Especially since they sent me home with a car that could have potentially stalled AGAIN?! And they missed the issue with the fuel pump, instructing me to take the car home when I didn't feel comfortable knowing it was lagging to start? I also had to return for a THIRD time because I noticed I had zero coolant in my car after the engine had been replaced! I have gotten nowhere with this dealership and I am extremely frustrated with management and their lack of help or assuming responsibility for sending me home with a car that wasn't ready to be picked up. My experience was less than stellar. I have been severely inconvenienced by obtaining my own rental cars. I was calling around until I found a location that had a rental available, driving to and from the rental dealerships, finding someone to drive me to and from the dealership to pick up my car, waiting on AAA to have my car towed back to the dealership for the fuel pump they missed initially, calling Kia Consumer Affairs MULTIPLE times, calling the dealership and Epiq MANY times. The Kia Dealership and Epiq have put me out money I cannot afford to be out of. I am limited financially, especially now around the holidays and the insane increase on gas and cost of living. This is NOT good business to a customer. I will be moving forward with contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding my experience. read more

My experience at Kia was in the service dept., I did not purchase the vehicle there as there were none available when we were looking. Had gone in for some recalls in December, no biggie, all seemed normal, no high pressure to purchase anything additional which was great. Fast forward to begining of February when my wife was driving the vehicle and it died on the highway. Misfire, changed spark plugs, no fix, so swapped coils, same issue. Knew there were issues with these at times so brought it in and dropped it off. Was told it may take a few days which was not a problem. Get a call a few days later, engine seems to have a failed cylinder but they need to have the warranty provider out to inspect to look further, no big deal, approved. At this point most communication stopped and only time we go any information was when we called and most of these required a long wait or a call back. Finally call again to see if it is covered and it is, GREAT! Would have been nice to get that call but understand they are busy. Was told it may be a while as parts are on backorder. I understood, had done some research prior and know about all the parts issues all over the country as I have worked in dealerships and insurance for the last 20ish years. Again, called now and then to check status, parts still on backorder, ok. No courtesy calls, always calls needing to be made. During all this we never requested a rental but we're told we were on a list. Getting into May and weather getting warmer we call and see if a rental may be possible as our other vehicle doesn't have air conditioning and have 2 small children. Told we are on the list. Just before memorial day we call and are told parts are in, should get it the Friday before memorial day. AWESOME! Call Friday, not even started, we were told they didn't want to start before the weekend...after we had been told it would be ready then. Tues comes and they have started. Get the call a few days later, it's done! Go pick it up, bring it to the gas station, drive home and all seems well. Look over the vehicle and find tape down the drivers side (just peeled it off), greasy finger prints all over the front (most wiped off), shift lock cap missing from shifter (found under seat), open the hood and the cloth heat shield at the firewall/bulkhead is torn and hanging, walk around vehicle and both left side drivers taillights are broken with the inner having a hole. Reach out, no answers and left multiple voicemail with no call backs. Wife calls, they answer so I get on the phone. Go over with Tyler the issues. Admits the front was most likely them but they did no work to the rear. Ask if the vehicle was moved at all by pushing it, then asks if I can bring it in to take a look and take photos. I ask if I can take photos and send and he agrees. A few emails back and forth as he is looking into it. Come June I should have an answer by the end of the day. Respond that I really just want the inner taillight/back up lamp as it has a hole. No communication since, have sent additional emails. Calls go to voicemail. I tried to be a understanding as I could through the entire process, didn't want to be a pain of a customer especially on a warranty job but the customer " service " was terrible and essentially non-existent. Thought I found a decent place to bring my vehicle, but I guess not. read more

My car went in for service at Ron Bouchard's Kia dealership in Lancaster today at 9:45 AM to have my lug nuts replaced. A very simple job. The service rep Tyler assured me my car would be ready between 12 and 1 PM. It was imperative for me to get my car back no later than 1 because I had to go to work. When 1 o'clock came and went I tried calling numerous times 6-7, and could not get through finally I did! I was told by Tyler he would go outback and call me right back with a report. Never got a call back so I got a ride back to the dealership to find out for myself. When I noticed my car was parked in the same place I parked it at 9:45. I entered the service area to inquire about my car. No one could find my paperwork or keys. Finally Tyler said he was going outback to check. When he returned he stated my car was not worked on. I asked why nobody called me! Tyler said he would try to help. I stated I had to go to work. He and another worker started laughing at me. At this point I became very upset and the two of them continued to laugh and told me to have a good day. I will NEVER use them again. I feel because I am a woman they did not respect me and didn't care if my car was fixed or not! read more

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. They had the car I wanted in inventory which other dealerships in the area did not so I came on down and signed the paperwork. The finance guy had things pretty streamlined. My first complaint is with the dishonest salesman. I wanted to take the car the same day but he said my insurance agency would not be open on a Saturday and I would have to get the car Monday. I said I would try them anyways and went off to get my payment, calling them at the same time. After a long hold I reached someone who said yes they can take care of the paperwork today so keeping her on the line I drive back to the dealership but the salesman, WHO IS SITTING AT HIS DESK DOING NOTHING, says he can't get the car cleaned and prepped today. This is at 11 AM. It is a brand new car, it's not dirty. How hard can this be? He also told me once you go to synthetic oil you can never go back to conventional. I asked him why and he could not answer. So when I got home I looked this up online. This is an urban myth debunked by The Car Talk Guys and others. It dates back to when synthetic fuels were brand new and people did not know how they would perform. In following up on a delivery date for the car I got several emails from the salesman with a promotional blurb that says "out the door in an hour". This is patently false. So when I do get the vehicle all is fine that evening and the next morning, but the first full day I have it I go to the car at lunchtime and have trouble turning it on and warning lights come on. I think it's a new car and I'm not used to it, maybe I'm not turning it enough and try again. It makes a rattling noise and comes on with the check engine light illuminated. I let it rest, try again, still the check engine light. I can't get through to a person at roadside assistance and don't have a smart phone to click on the links their robot wants to send me so I call the dealership and they sent out a tow truck driver who also finds the car hard to start. He leaves me with a gaudy loaner. Fast forward a day and they have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it but will not give me my money back. We then discuss exchanging the lemon for a different vehicle of theirs but without paying more money I would be limited to ones that are rated even less reliable. Finally we agree on a different vehicle and the swap is now complete. I will see going forward how they are for service. That they could not diagnose the problem with the first vehicle is not encouraging. On the second transaction I worked with the sales manager and he was much better than the salesman. Was this whole experience handled better than it would be at some other dealerships? Yes. Am I coming away satisfied because I got my money back for a defective product? No. It will take a long time before I can relax driving without worrying that my car will die and leave me stranded, injured or worse. Better lemon laws are needed in Massachusetts. I am still waiting to get my state inspection from them as the RMV system for this is down. I hope they prioritize their customers over walk-ins but am still waiting to hear back from them on this. read more

My car stopped working and wouldn't start. I took it here and they recommended terminal cleaning and charged me $320 which it should've been a much cheaper fix. The terminal cleaning did nothing and my car won't start. I called them and they won't refund me and are saying the only fix would cost thousands of dollars. At 97,000 miles my 2012 Kia Optima transmission was failing. I had taken it to Lev Kia in Framingham and they "weren't able to recreate" what I was described. This was utter BS, my car was barely drive-able there and when I left. I had taken the day off of work because there were no courtesy cars available and the service rep lost his patience with me several times when I asked him questions about what they had done to try and diagnose the issue. I KNEW my transmission was going to fail at any moment yet I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing everyone for nothing. I immediately called Al at Ron Bouchard's Kia, told him what was going on and asked him if he had 5 minutes to spare so I could take him for a ride. He didn't but he came any way. He immediately recognized something wasn't right and scheduled me for their next available opening AND had a rental car to offer me at $25 a day! They serviced my car by updating the software, something Lev said wasn't necessary, and reset my transmission (apparently your transmission learns your style of driving and adapts to it). I picked it up and it drove great all the way home until I got off the highway. I stopped at a red light and when it turned green I couldn't get it into gear. My engine just revved, not moving. It has a manual shift option so, thinking quickly, I gave that a try and it sprang directly into forth gear! I turned around and brought it right back to Ron Bouchards. I called ahead and let Chris, the head mechanic, know what happened. When I pulled into the lot Derrick, the newest member of the team, jumped in and we went for a ride. That's when my check engine light came on saying my gear shift ratio was off...something big was definitely wrong. They put me back in the rental car I'd just returned and sent me on my way while they worked to resolve the issue. My instincts were correct, my transmission was no good! The team at Ron Bouchard Kia Service worked with Kia directly and two weeks later my car has a new transmission and is running as great as ever, covered 100% by warranty. I was only charged $75 for the rental car I had for over two weeks. A small price to pay in order to go about my life as normal, without missing any more days of work. This was a HUGE, STRESSFUL ORDEAL before the Kia service team stepped up and bailed me out. I will never let anyone else touch my car again. And, when it's time to buy my next vehicle, I will buy it at Ron Bouchard, because of Al, Chris and Derrick. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. read more

Chris Bakas was awesome and made the paperwork process as smooth as possible. He is not your typical finance person. I felt like he was very honest and upfront. Ron Bouchards is lucky to have him! Only reason I did not give a 5 star is because they don't give you any swag or Kia promo item when you purchase a car. Most dealerships I've dealt with give you a keychain or travel mug or something. All I can say is WOW! We used Truecar to price our 2016 Kia Sedona SX with Tech Package, and we dealt with Gina and also with Tom Corbin. Both were awesome and totally honored the price, even though no other dealer would even talk to us at the price Truecar said we should pay. We saved about $1500 over the other dealers. To me, it's all about the bottom line (price) and I don't really care about service and big screen TV in the waiting area and all of that crap. Their price was way LOWER than other Kia dealers. My wife and I were shopping for a bargain 'end of summer 'deal and visited a host of dealerships from Auburn to Shrewsbury to Leominster. Decided to try Ron Bouchards since the Sportage was one of the vehicles on our target list. What a great experience! While most of the other dealers ranged from smug (that's Honda) to the typical oversell/annoying, Brian Byington at Bouchards was welcoming and did something most salesmen never do--he LISTENED to us! Got us the vehicle we wanted, didn't try to sell us options we didn't want, and easily worked to a terrific deal for us. Have never had such a great experience buying/ leasing a car. We shook hands on a deal late afternoon, drove off with our car early the next afternoon. Friendly, helpful, efficient and reasonably priced--could not have asked for more. Went in to test drive a Cadenza. Ended up with a K900 they had on the floor which was on a fabulous special. Everything went well although the actual leasing process was a little tedious. Miguel was helpful, giving us test drives on both the Cadenza and the K900. Picked the car up 4 days later. I do think they could have done a better job on the interior of the car. Very dusty, which I didn't notice until I had already left the dealership. This was surprising to me as I have never experienced this with a new car previously and also from previous experience with their Acura location in Auburn. Overall the experience was a good one. read more

We traded in our 2009, well-loved Honda Pilot for a 2018 Kia Sorento. We were at first skeptical about buying a Kia, but the safety ratings and reviews were so positive! We were sold on Kia after the first test drive; the Kia Sorento SX is loaded and the price can't be beat! We had the best experience EVER buying any car at Ron Bouchard. We met Austin McCarthy, our sales rep, and knew immediately he going to be straightforward with us. He didn't harass us with lots of calls (like so many do) and he gave us the information we requested each time in a prompt manner. They contacted me while my car was in for service ($700) and wanted to see if I wanted to be part of their trade in deal. I was already pre-approved through my bank, so I went to the dealership out of curiosity to see what they had. I dealt with several people but the main person was Frank the salesman. He used all sales pitches including going out back to "ask the manager" like 3 times. He tried to make a personal connection and be the "honest" salesman. He also "messed up" on the cost when we started talking money. Stating a rebate accidentally factored into the total cost and it really is $3k more expensive than initially stated. After I accepted the $3k increase and was still interested in the vehicle. I asked if the $700 I just paid 2 minutes before on my old car would be credited towards this new vehicle. He would not allow it, which I felt was unreasonable and he did not compromise. I do think he was a nice person but needs to work on his pitch. Maybe I am being a bit tough on him because I have been a sales person before, However I bought my previous Kia Sorento here as well and had a much more pleasant experience with a better end deal. When I was hit head on and the car was totaled,all the airbags went off and I had very little injuries. Ron Bouchard's Honda Service was friendly, efficient, and cost effective. They ABSOLUTELY DID NOT try to get me to spend more than was necessary.
