3.5 Stopped at Ron Jon Surf Shop looking for sunglasses. Mine were all scratched up and I needed a new pair. I found two pairs for $30 each. It's always hard for me to find the right pair of sunglasses and I found them right away. This place has a large interior with all kinds of stuff to buy. It has the typical beach stuff. Trinkets, clothes, sandals and shoes, as well as so much more. If you are looking for a place to browse or buy a souvenir this is a good place to check out. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Ron Jons surf shop! Many many years ago one summer, when my brother & I were teens, we were in Cocoa Beach, Florida, our mum had a condo there, we discovered Ron Jons there, for the first time, the original location. Anyway, long story short, my brother & I decided to work there for the whole summer & we did, we both got hired. He wanted to check out girls, I wanted bikinis! Tons of bikinis! Lol One of the best summers ever! So, this past summer my hubby & I were hanging on the beach with my brother & his kids & we notice a Ron Jons opened in Pensacola Beach! We were both stoked!!! Yeah!!! :)) We were across the street on the beach daily riding waves, we took my nephews by regularly shopping so they could check out girls, it was just like all times, except now they are the teens LOLOLOLOL They have awesome beach wear, boogie boards, bathing suits & way cool beachy accessories galore... One day hubby & I stopped in together for a big beach hat for him & while we were there we found a new baby blue ukulele! (my old one got stolen) Hubby LOVES his YUGE hat ;) My hubby started looking at YouTube videos how to play the ukulele and he learned how to play it in two days! WOW. All summer we were driving from dads beachhouse to his farm in Alabama to my brothers house to New Orleans, to my other brothers house all the while hubby is riding shotgun playing the crap out of that ukulele like a boss! We have already written two songs: "Mexican cartel, leave'em dead" and "2 gallons of tequila" we are working on an album called "Live at Opal Beach" LOLOLOLOLOL Thank you Ron Jons for always making memorable summers :)) Now, we are currently 2 generations of Ron Jons surf shop lovers. We all love the new location here. It's kinda small but we are all hoping the space will expand in the future & will eventually carry more of the fabulous Ron Jon surf shop inventory! Yay!!! Summer is for making fun memories at the beach & we love that Ron Jons has always been a part of those fun making memories in our family. Right on dude! They have a lot of souvenirs, from clothes to stickers. I got a new shirt and a lot of stickers. It's in the same parking lot as the hooters as well. And it's in front of the bay. The staff is very friendly and helpful there as well. My favorite tourist shop in Pensacola! read more

Great place if you are visiting. They have nice clothes, merchandise, and other things. The only bad thing is that even though on their door they say that you need a mask. Half of the people walked in and shopped without one. read more

My family and I stopped in...felt like I was in Sephora...there were 10 workers following us around. We all felt awkward because there was someone staring at us and following us around. We even bought stuff. Probably out of pressure. Another friend of mine said he went in with his girl friend 30 minutes before closing and was treated the same way and the manager standing by the door waiting for them to leave. This has happened more than once. Won't go there again and my friend said they won't be going again also. Just weird experience. ‍ read more

A hundred people working that are clueless and in the way. Melissa and carolyn terrible, took 30 minutes to get cashed out. This place is over rated. Go to a real surf shop; Innerlight or Waterboyz! They have way more variety, better deals, reward program, and friendly staff!! Ron Jon is just a another fake surf shop chain of a "Ron Jon" logo lol that uses Pensacola to sell cheap clothes. last Saturday, Ron Jon opened at 10:00am, by 10:15am I picked out my $35.00 flip flops to buy. Went toward the register and noticed what looked like a line at star bucks. Yep 1 cashier with I would say were 20+ customers waiting to pay. Please I encourage you too play back your surveillance cameras at said time. Disappointing. read more

I usually love Ron Jon stores but not this one in Pensacola. I am not sure how they train staff on customer services. We couldn't get into the store since we didn't have masks on. There were at least 15 people in the store. My friend ran to the car and got masks but when we tried to go in, the store was closed. It was only 8:00 pm and all the other stores were still open. One of the employees saw what was going on and that we wanted to come in and shop. Did he have common sense to tell us " we are closing in a few minutes"? No, he just stood there watching the whole thing and then when we tried to come in once we had our masks, he tells us we can't because they are closing. I understand they don't get paid based on commission but no customer service skills or curtesy to say "sorry, we are not letting anymore people into the store tonight". Just very frustrating to go through all the effort to be shut out. We ended up going to a store a few doors down and spending $400. We would have spent it in the Ron Johns store but were just never given the chance. read more
