I found "Hammond Organ and keyboard service". There was a phone number, so I decided to call. I proceeded to describe the issues I was having with both units. While on the phone, it was easy to notice Tim's vast keyboard experience. In a very simple fashion, he was able to describe easy solutions for restoring my Hammond and Leslie. Thanks to his abundant knowledge, I was able to combine my electro mechanical skills and restore both units to perfect working order. All by myself! It's nice to find professionals who are willing to share their information and not force you to bring your equipment in for service. As a disclaimer, I have exceptional electronic skills. It was easy for me to do the repairs. However some people may not the ability or skills to perform this kind of work. I hired him for a check up on a used Yamaha U3 that I recently purchased that also desperately needed tuning. He is very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Tuned my piano and made some minor adjustments on the action along the way and only charged me the flat fee he said he would charge for tuning.
