Thanks to Ron Norris service department for saving the day! No one wants to deal with car issues after coming home from vacation. Unfortunately my car refused to start and required a jumpstart. I called Ron Norris and they were able to see me the same day. The even better part was that since my car was still under factory warranty, my battery was FREE!!!! Yay! This dealership was originally under Ron Norris, and we've done business with them for over 30 years. EXCELLENT service when it was under Ron Norris. This dealership is now under Starling Honda and it's like night and day. AVOID purchasing a vehicle from Starling! We had an absolutely HORRIBLE buying experience. Legal paperwork had errors all through it starting with the misspelling of name, also stated that a spoiler was on order when in fact it was two other items on order. Our normal salesperson that we've purchased vehicles from in the past and trusted, turned out to be dishonest. He stated that two items were not put on the car and they were on order. When asked WHEN we could expect them, he couldn't look us in the eye and said after the 4th. Later we found out that the two items are on backorder with no release date. That means it could be weeks to months before we'll be able to have them installed on our car. Starling was more than happy to take our money though! They kept us waiting 2.5 hours AFTER our scheduled appointment time when they could have easily called us and rescheduled. We took the car home, parked it and didn't drive it until 4 days later when we had an error message "Blind Spot Information Problem, see dealer." --- Took it to the service department, they noted the code, drove it and reset it. We left and went to get a bite to eat and when we got into the vehicle it happened again. 2nd trip to the dealer within the same day...now they are going to order a part for a BRAND NEW CAR! We are keeping track of problems in case we need to invoke the Lemon Law. NOT a good buying experience at all!!! Dave Thornton (? on last name) offered only excuses when it came to the mispelling of the middle name. This is the LAST car that we will ever purchase from Starling and possibly the last Honda that we'll every purchase. I bought my car at a different dealership and I prefer to do my oil changes at 50% and like towards 10% oil life (every5k miles) im new to the area and they did a good job, the tech used a torque stick with the correct rating for lug nuts and a torque wrench when putting the oil plug bolt back in the pan so that was nice to see. read more

The guy(s) that actually perform the work in the service bays are my reasons for this bad rating. My 2016 Accord that I purchased new at Ron Norris Honda needed a new headlight due to the recall of the DRL issue around 2019. I had them replace the headlight and later realized at home that the turn signal light was not plugged back into the new light fixture and that the headlight was not adjusted. The headlight was aimed onto the ground about four feet in front of the car.....I fixed it all myself....at home.....OK... Now in 2022, it was time for my timing belt replacement maint. etc...to be performed. I specifically told them that I just changed the oil with Amsoil and the filter and that they do not need to do an oil change, only the timing belt package and a few other maintenance/inspections at 100,000 miles. I paid $2,800 for all the work, and drove it home. The next morning I inspected the car and discovered the oil/filter had been changed, and it was way over the "full line" on the dipstick! Really? There was about 1/2 quart too much oil in my engine. From a Honda Dealer? Also, there were oil/grease smudges all over the two front fenders, the steering wheel and on the side of the leather driver's seat. The engine cover was all scratched as if it were upside down on the cement floor and stepped on. I am the only owner of this car and take pride in my car. I do not appreciate some slob mechanic trashing my very clean, well maintained Accord like this guy did. I called the service department to advise of all this BS and they agreed to refund me $50. for the oil that I had just recently changed. What is going on there? On a side note.....I also purchased a new 2019 Mustang GT at Ron Norris Ford in Oct 2018. I drove there one day last year to purchase a few oil filters and the "guys" behind the counter totally ignored my presence for 15 minutes as I stood there to buy a few oil filters. They looked at me from across the room and just continued their conversation..... I departed and ordered the filters on Amazon....ridiculous! My salesman with these two cars was fantastic, but the service and parts departments need a major overhaul on how it treats customer's cars, customers and then returning them in the clean condition as they were upon arrival. It's sad to say, but I will NEVER NEVER NEVER use Ron Norris service again. I will find a Honda/Toyota specialist private mechanic or another dealership before I return there. read more

This review is not fraudulent or inappropriate and should not be filtered. It does not violate the TOS agreement in any way. I took my car to be serviced at Ron Norris. The service performed was very poor, too far too long, and the mechanic gave me my car back without putting the oil cap back on the engine. I drove all the way home (Titusville to Rockledge) with no oil cap. I checked the engine compartment and there was oil everywhere. This could have wrecked my engine. Patrons deserve to know about this. Do not filter my review again. Thank you. read more

Bought a new Civic in Jan 2016. Drove it normally for 2 years until I got a company provided auto. Civic is now rarely driven. Has a little over 40K miles. About 5 months ago I drove it and noticed the AC was not cold. Took it in and they "fixed" it. PArked and drove occasionally. 2 moths later AC not cold. Took it back and after a $200+ part was put on the AC was cold. Again over 2 months rarely driven. Drove it the other day and AC not cold...again. Took it in again and now there is another $300+ part needed. I declined to have it repaired. I am not sure if its Honda selling substandard cars now or the service team misdiagnosed the problem. Do I spend $300 now and hope I don't have another part for $400+ go out in 2 more months? Not all pleased with the performance of the diagnosis. I cant ever be sure if the original $200+ part was actually the problem at all. read more

Ron Norris's Auto butler worst service ever...new car buyer beware do not buy this service. Went after a year thinking will have nice experience than last time but guess what same thing. They take your money (auto butler) and provide you with awful performance. The Step railing on my SUV where not even washed, tires still had dirt on it they polished it on top the dirty tires. Plus they will try to cross you that they are doing a favor by cleaning interior ( which is not included in the service) for you which my handheld vacuum do much better job then their professional grade vacuums. Bought a Pilot at a decent price but there were a number of problems. Tires were improperly inflated, car was misaligned and door edge guard was improperly installed causing an annoying vibration. Also, the salesman improperly installed the cargo liner. The sales manager was unapologetic about the situation and only offered for me to spend 1 hour each way to travel plus wait till they figure out how to repair. I did not want travel 1 hour each way plus the time to fix for a possible repair at best. No effort was made by the sales manager to compromise and settle the matter in a much simpler way. read more

Now, they state, they have been allocated (not ordered) the ONLY 2015 RED CR-Z EX with Navigation for delivery in the US. They do not have a production date or idea of when the car could be delivered. Really? The ONLY 2015 RED CR-Z EX with Navigation for delivery in the US? Really???? Do YOU REALLY believe that? Don't tell Lynnwood Honda either ... they might have physical proof sitting on their lot proving this another lie from Ron Norris Honda. The service department has always been amazing and super friendly!! I have bought new and used cars from there. (Through good credit and bad) they have always done whatever they can to make sure I get the best deal possible. I've have extras installed and worked into the financing as well.
