Today has been so stressful and hectic for our family. I called the office out of Chehalis (I think someone named Tammy helped me). Tammy was quick over the phone, not much too say. I had to ask her about pricing and what not before she rushed me off. I get it. The day turned around once Steven (Stephen?) showed up!! This guy is hardworking, transparent, quick to the point and very thorough. I feel like I completely lucked out with him as our "plumber". He talked me through the whole process and explained every little detail. Even made some recommendations about different (safe) toilet paper to buy for our plumbing and chemicals for cleaning. He also didn't mind our dog or crazy household. He did exactly what we needed (which was basically pushing a ton of rocks out of our pipes). Above and beyond service from this gentleman. If you have issues, Steven with roto-rooter is your guy!! They told me…read moreif there are any problems the work is guaranteed and less than a week later the toilet is backing up again so I called them and they told me that the work is only guaranteed if I opted for "the Camera Service" which I was told "I didn't opt for probably to save money" I explained that I was never told about a camera service and that I was certainly never told that the work was only guaranteed if I opted for the "Camera Service" The guy at Roto-Rooter basically told me I was a liar. Which of course is not the case. He then told me they would have to charge me again the full price plus $70 more for the "Camera Service" which was the first time I heard of the "camera service" Very unfair and dishonest practice.

They put in a Navien Tankless water heater last year. They were supposed to come back in March to…read moredo the first year's service which was part of the cost of the installation. Well, Tom has a new license but has disconnected his two phone numbers and I've sent registered and return receipt letters to his addresses and they have been returned by the PO. He could be nice then turn and be rude. He refused to give a signed contract but did give a receipt that I thought would be binding. Before we hired him and Brian I made sure he had a bond and license. He kept saying I was just supposed to trust him. They did the work and the tankless works fine but when I did a call back on an issue I left several messages and when I didn't get a response I called Navien. When he finally came he kept saying to call him not the company and I told him that I did. Brian was supposed to take over the business but there is no way of getting ahold of either of them. Beware of any business that won't give you a signed contract up front and says just trust me. He was good...until he wasn't.

Started out with small jobs and then we had him re-plumb our whole house. (Plumbing was in the ceiling and we had it all moved to under the house). They have always done a great job for us. Last Saturday, I had a copper pipe burst at the hot water tank. I of course called Tom. Since he is not open on the weekends, but I called him. While I waiting for him to return my call, I called other plumbing companies. Only one place was open and I was told no one could help me until Monday. Tom called me back after just a few minutes. Although he was not open and is not scheduled for emergency services, he came right over. Tom said he could hear to panic in my voice and could not turn me away, he had to help. Tom is my superhero! He is customer focused and cares about a job well done. Tom and Brian have a customer for life!
