Over the last 3 weeks I had the misfortune to deal with this business !! On my first visit I went…read moreto the front counter requesting information on the purchase of a bathroom type of fan . After 10 minutes waiting to be serve the counter person told me that my question should be directed to the guy on left side of the counter so I waited for him to be free ...after another 5 minutes he came over and told me that he needed to see the City's form to be able to tell me what I needed!. I told him I would be back the next day with the form telling me what I needed! On my second visit again I had to wait 10 minutes because the clerk was busy with other customer and the guy I had talk too the previous day was TOO BUSY to acknowledge me at all although he was less than 6 feet away from me and busy on the computer . After the 10 minutes the same guy I had talk too the previous day took pity on me and after looking at my paperwork indicated to me that he need a better description of what i needed from the city inspector so again I went back to the city office and got an exact description of what I needed. On my 3rd visit an hour later it was busy there so I was totally ignored for over 20 minutes by the clerk at the counter who was dealing with 2 customers .....meanwhile the same bald clerk I had the displeasure to deal with before was working on and off in his computer and CHATTING with contractors and employees walking by without even looking or talking to me !! By the way each time I was there a girl was answering the phone and NEVER bothered to ask me if she could help me !! She was less than 5 feet away from me !. At the 18 minutes mark the clerk who was now dealing with a third customer who had arrived just few seconds ago turn around and said to me " sorry we are not ignoring you but we are busy here " to which I replied that he was now dealing with a customer that had arrived just few second ago ! I further stated that I was going to take my business somewhere else!! Meanwhile the same arrogant bald clerk as usual was ignoring me but not his friends who were walking by him !. This business need some major training in customer services and as far as I'm concerned I will never recommend this business too anybody !!. Unfortunately I have to rate it a one star but if I could I would not even give this business one star !!

It was exceptional everytime we walked in that door and we were in gardening, plumbing, tiles, lumber.... dealt with many different departments and all the staff was outstanding. And unlike Vancouver (where I am from), here you walk in the door and someone greets you, people were always asking if they could help us find something. And they always had everything we needed. A really exceptional Home Depot. Cudos to the staff.

On May 28, 2018 at about 5pm I went to buy a spray paint for my son's homework. The Asian lady at…read morethe entrance stopped me to ask me to leave my backpack with her. I explained her that it was not a backpack but my purse. Small pink purse that happens to be conveniently carry on my back or on my shoulder. With unfriendly and condescending actitud, she had to grab the manager who wanted to escort me to get the paint. I felt humiliated and treated like we are not living in Canada. I had to leave with out buying before I allow them to treat people like that. When I left I was willing to drive as much as necessary for a spray paint but luckily I found it a few blocks away at the looney store. Please don't shop there. The other location at Springfield is run by customer friendly management.
