The entire visit with the doctor lasted less than five minutes. I was then sent for blood work. Even though I had fasted beforehand just in case, I was told the specific test had to be completed before a certain time, so I had to schedule another appointment. When I returned for my second appointment after making another 30-minute drive, I was informed that the phlebotomist wasn't there, so I couldn't even have my blood drawn. After two disappointing visits, I decided not to return to this office. To make matters worse, I later received a bill for an additional $73. I spent over six months trying to get someone to explain why I owed more money after already paying my copay. I called weekly, left countless messages, and never received a return call. Because no one would respond, the balance was eventually sent to collections. I paid the balance just to deal with the collections issue, then disputed the charge with my bank because even they agreed the situation seemed unusual. Despite that, I am still being billed for the same charge. Once again, I spent months trying to get answers with no response. When I finally reached someone, I was essentially told that if I didn't pay, it would simply be sent to collections again. No one could actually explain why I owed the money. I no longer have the insurance I had at the time of my visit, and I was also told the doctor I originally saw doesn't even work there anymore. The lack of communication and patient care at this office is unacceptable. Ignoring patients for months while continuing to bill them and threaten collections is not how a medical practice should operate. If they put even half as much effort into helping their patients as they do collecting money, this situation could have been resolved long ago. Firstly, I wanna start by saying the staff has not been rude by any means, but just extremely unprofessional and unorganized.
