what happen to me need to stop with me. I paid thousands of dollars for three implants and a bridge. Both has failed. The so call implants is questionable. A bridge was placed over this mess. Not by Receveur by an assistant ‼ She was definitely not a dentist. Well I paid another dentist to cement the bridge on the first time. She suggested I call Receveur after it came loose the second time‼ I went back to him (not willingly). The same bridge was placed back on and as we speak it's loose again. All his work fell apart. I'm so angry ‼I would never refer anyone to this man. He really didn't try to correct his mess. read more

After wearing dentures for 30 years, problems started to surface from bone lost and dentures not functioning or fitting properly. It seemed dental implants were the final answer. After speaking to several dentist' in that field, I chose the one that seemed to be most knowledgeable and established in practice. After deciding that we would be going with permanent implants and giving him a check for over $26,000 (which included 5% discount for cash), surgery was scheduled for November 17, 2015. After the surgery and the first time he took the temporaries out to remove stitches I discovered that the post were not implanted where he had stated in the beginning, which causes discomfort of one in particular. His response was 'they'll be alright' and went right on to something else. Well, it's not. As he moves on after healing of gums, he makes a set on teeth (in wax - upper and lower) that seem to be acceptable. When they were sent off to be set in acrylic, they came back lop-sided (slanted). I immediately complained but the other dentist said 'he could fix them'. Not only was the smile crooked but the mechanics of the bite was crooked. For the back teeth, one side was lower than the other. Bradley Frederick's fix was to grind on the face of the teeth so the slant was changed, but only for appearance, not function ability. It was at this point that my new teeth went into a 'salvage operation'. The more they would grind on the teeth, the smaller the teeth became. After having some of the teeth replaced to try to correct the problem, he would turn around and try grinding them down again. He was emphatic about doing it his way and seems to ignore my concerns. I questioned about why he did some things the way he did, and he told me 'this is the way it's supposed to be'. This ordeal had continued until about September 2016 when it was determined that I had to have hip replacement surgery, which I did Christmas 2016. After hip surgery, and the reduction of pain in my hip, I had time to reflect on my dental situation while recovering, and was not happy at all. The problems being 1) upper front of teeth set back too far in gum ridge, 2) upper set of teeth a little narrow on gums (no room for tongue), 3) upper set of teeth are positioned too high in mouth (bites upper inside of lips), 4) all lower teeth are too low down in the jaw (bites inside of cheeks and down low inside lower lip, 5) teeth are set to mesh from top to bottom without overlap - pinches cheeks, 6) mouth seems to close a little more than before (giving way to more cheek flab inside of mouth resulting in more chances of biting inside of cheek), 7) speech is deplorable - very difficult to speak with clarity. I have lessened my trips in public because of speech, and eating is a little embarrassing trying not to bite myself. I'm just not comfortable in public being as I will have to talk (which is embarrassing). All of this has robbed me of my self-esteem. After all this, I just don't see any reason to pursue treatment with this dentist because I just get the feeling he is not in tune with my concerns, and I am certainly not happy with his work. He has ignored my speech concern, and all other concerns he comes up with some kind of reason. If I question anything, I was told that is the way it's supposed to be. I would NOT recommend this dentist or this dental office to anyone. It was just after this work was done that Receveur started advertising on TV, just like another dentist started advertising ;dental implants'. If you need dental implants, go to a dentist that doesn't specialize in implants. Go to a regular dentist, one that doesn't have his own 'dental lab', you'll be much better off. I went to other dentist to see what could be done. As soon as they saw what I had, they knew who was responsible for this mess (I didn't even have to tell them). They thought that for about $20,000 it could be corrected, to a point. I recently visited the office to get my dentures re-lined. Dr. Receiver made my dentures 18 years ago and I have always been very happy with them. I have lost weight lately and they don't fit like they used to. Dr Receiver was busy with another patient so Dr. Frederick took over my treatment. The doctor gave me a complete examination and spent quite a bit time to explain various options and gave me his honest opinion. I left feeling good about the choices I had. Upon leaving the office I stopped by the front desk to pay and I was told there will no charge for a consultation. What a great surprise. I will definitely return for any future services. read more

Dr. Receveur obviously loves his work, and really cares about his patients. Everyone in the office tries their best to make you comfortable. Questions are given full attention, and they make sure you understand the answers. My wife had implants here, but I was wavering (though I certainly needed them!). The review and impressions made of my teeth went fine, and I look forward to the whole experience. I made the right choice for implants. read more

Receveur (DDS) is a very well know dentist who does major dental work for people in need. His infomercials portray a false sense of security as he promises a pain free experience. Individuals who come to him may need almost all their teeth removed in order to receive the permanent smile service that is offered. This contains extracting X amount of teeth, sometimes bone graphing, and implants. This procedure is a long and painful one. Perhaps not during in the office, but as I know personally from a very close family member who has had this done; the recovery can last over a month. The office staff that wanted to do this procedure, which was almost going to 50,000$ upfront, acted appalled when a potential client asked about the treatment plan for the post op pain. Their reaction was unsettling. They said no one had asked that question before. And 80% of patients leave without needed or being given medication to manage the pain. Dr. Recevuer wanted to rebuild an entire mouth containing extensive oral surgery: but refused to even entertain the thought of being active in any post op treating for pain. Another person that had a major dental procedure done by him has been left w/ missing teeth when his plan failed to work correctly. He has had this poor woman waiting in agony for months trying to get in so he could fix what he obviously promised to give this woman but didn't. Her life has been a living nightmare as she continues to work with missing teeth that he was supposed to replace after removing them in an effort to execute the permanent smile procedure. His office staff is cold, inflexible, and shames hurting people into thinking they shouldn't need any pain management after undergoing an intensive and invasive surgery. His prices are inflated, he insists on tens of thousands of dollars upfront, and then takes his time getting back to the people that need anything additional, or are in need of corrections or refitting.
