I was so embarrassed some even laugh... when I call the office obviously upset explain what happened and asking to speak to the office manager and which I was informed that she was out for the day... I asked to please have her call me when she returned the next day . Megan Did Not Call Me! at 3:30pm after waiting all day I phone her she immediately threw her staff member under the bus but couldn't justify why I have to suffer this horrific experience because of there negligence! They offered NOTHING!!! I'm considering legal action Patients have Rights too!

Before I saw Dr. Hartwig, I hadn't seen a dentist in roughly 4 years due to a mixture of equal…read moreparts apathy, finances, and... of course... fear. This creates a recipe for what I call Disaster Mouth (pairs perfectly with Disaster Body if you also avoid the doctor). Needless to say, I was embarrassed and nervous before I finally made an appointment, but as soon as I walked into the office, all my trepidation and worry melted away at the warm and caring environment I was welcomed into. My awkward jokes were received with laughs as opposed to the usual blank stares I get, which was nice. The environment feels a lot more like you are visiting with good friends who just happen to really care about your teeth. Miss Debbie, who cleaned my teeth, made me feel more like I was at the spa getting a facial, only for my teeth. Tiny, little teeth facials, if you can imagine. Dr. Hartwig explained what was going on with my teeth due to years of maintaining a diet of mostly cake and candy, and gave me hope that my teeth wouldn't yet fall out of my head now that we have an action plan and a consistent maintenance schedule. At the end of my visit, I did not have to peel myself off of the chair due to me losing my body weight in sweat from the pain and anxiety I have experienced with previous dentists and hygienists. I was relaxed, happy, and dry as a bone. I went back the following week for some fillings, and the experience was just as pleasant as the first one, even though there were scarier instruments involved. Typically, even a minimal amount of pain is expected when receiving a giant needle to the gums, even with the most skilled hands, and I was prepared for that, but Dr. Hartwig performed some type of magic in which I did not feel any pain, whatsoever; not even a pinch! She was able to quickly drill and fill not just one but two of my teeth, with no pain or discomfort at any given point. Dr. Hartwig and her staff are nothing short of miracle workers in every capacity; they have managed to minimize the stress that often accompanies visits to the dentist, and have transformed it into a fun, pleasant event that makes you feel like you're winning at adulting. I've stopped eating cake for (most) dinners, and am so grateful to have found Dr. Hartwig and her staff, and look forward to my next and every visit with this amazing team.

He immediately relieved the pain by giving me 3 injections and medication to get the infection under control. About 2 weeks later I went back and had that tooth extracted. Dr pickard had to also do bridge work around that area before they could remove the tooth.I am 66 years old and was very scared about going to this place because of what I had read. I am telling you Doctor pickard is if not the best dentist I've ever been to he's right there with the best. He's absolutely wonderful. He's trustworthy , he knows exactly what he's doing. Also his assistant Lauren calmed me down with her sweet and kind demeanor. I highly recommend this dentist. He us a great person.

Since 2017, the estimated wait time for an appointment has consistently exceeded the scheduled…read moreduration by several hours. Staff attribute these delays to extended treatment times with other patients. During a scheduled appointment to establish care, I waited two hours to be seen by the dentist, X-ray technician, and dental hygienist. When I inquired at the front desk about an estimated timeframe for my appointment, given that my scheduled time had passed significantly, they were unable to provide one. The X-ray technician called me back to take X-rays for the dentist. This process took approximately thirty minutes, as the technician spent time setting up equipment and speaking with other staff members in addition to taking the X-rays. Once the X-rays were complete, I was escorted to the patient care area. It took about twenty minutes to see the dentist, who was very efficient in moving on to the next patient. Subsequently, I waited another fifteen minutes to see the dental hygienist, as she was returning from her lunch break. I would be disinclined to return due to the excessive wait times. While I understand that waiting for each patient is sometimes necessary, the dental staff could improve communication by providing updates to patients waiting in the lobby. Also, When you call the office and speak to someone the person you need to speak to about billing will never call you back.

I told her the crown felt too big for my mouth and was causing bite issues and pain. She adjusted one time and after that, decided it wasn't her issue. She tried to gaslight me into thinking I needed a root canal and that I had an infection. She refused to take the crown out and said it wasn't in her "plan of care". After many months of jaw pain, headaches, neck spasms, inability to eat comfortably and so much more, neurologists, oral surgeons, MRIs, cat scans, x rays, orthodontists, endodontists, root canal specialists, dentists, and invisalign for pain relief, I finally got the crown removed for the issue to possibly be a pinched nerve in the tooth that she put the crown on. It's only been 24 hours and I feel such a huge relief. Here's the kicker. I have to pay out of pocket for a new crown ($700) because the original dentist (Fisher) needs to redact the claim on their end through insurance in order for a new one to be covered. In the last 8 months I have spent thousands of dollars in out of pocket expenses for something she could've fixed immediately by simply listening to her patient. This dentist puts her feelings and ego ahead of the needs of her patients. 0/0 recommend.

They come out with a temp-gun pointing to our foreheads without even asking for medical consent. I would know if we are sick, so I finally said no last time and was allowed inside, up until today I was treated like a walking germ by Dr. Fisher when I said "no, we're not sick" to tech who allowed my son and I in, then the dentist walked towards me after calling my son to the back, pointing the temp-gun with a concerned face. I said "we're not sick and it its my son getting treatment", but she refused us service, despite I said I could do it this time for my son who wanted the service and is almost 18. I offered to stay outside as well, but she said I have to be with my son and have my temp taken. I was okay with it to please my son, but she told us she wouldn't service us, so I told her this is a form of discrimination of which she disagreed just because we choose not to believe a lie. She chooses to follow CDC guidelines as her bible , but we don't trust the propaganda they have spread since 2020, and if they are vaccinated, aren't they "protected"? Are we this stupid that they can't see who's sick and who's not???! No thanks. Glad to leave. Should have changed a long time ago. And yes, they can be kind and I liked them, but she thinks this is not a form discrimination due to your believes, conviction and matter of conscious, then they don't deserve our time and money, of which they wasted mine today.

The receptionist actually put me on the phone with the owner/Dentist, Dr. Denise Noel. She placed me as a priority and got me in the very next business day. Upon arrival, I knew I would have to complete some paperwork, but because of my pain level, the staff rushed me to the back so the Doctor could start the numbing process in order to get my pain level under control. Dr. Noel took her time, made sure I was comfortable, educated me on the procedure, and she even consoled me throughout the entire process. She was gentle, her hand was steady, and her demeanor was pleasant. Even the atmosphere was calming and welcoming. The staff was gracious, attentive, and kind. Even the paperwork was simple and non-cumbersome. I have NEVER had a dental experience like this. It felt like family! 10 STARS!

I called them up and asked if they take my dental plan. Yes, they do. Progress! I explained I had recently seen a dentist who took full X-rays but I decided not to go with that one. As this plan covers only one set of X-Rays per calendar year AND I just had a full set made about six weeks ago, I asked her if I could email them or bring them on a flash drive. No, the dentist likes her own set of X-rays. Under this plan with allowing only one set, I asked what the full out of pocket price would be: $350. No, naw, nope, nein, noway and words to that effect of not going to do it. While dentists don't have to accept This would be a total cash cow of me writing them a check--assuming they accept checks. I can understand if the X-rays were 10 months old but SIX WEEKS? Well, maybe I dodged a greedy dentist who has a big boat payment.

0 stars if I could…read more The customer service here is terrible. Alex was very insincere and never returned my calls when I tried to escalate our concerns. I told Dr. Jessica L. Montgomery, DMD that we would no longer be using their office due to the poor dental work done on my mother. Instead of taking accountability, they responded by dismissing her from the practice, which felt like an attempt to avoid fixing their mistakes. My mom spent over 9k on dental work and her teeth look exactly the same as before. We were called back several times for "rework," yet Dr. Montgomery rarely even worked on her mouth and mostly left everything to the assistants. At the beginning, they offered my mom "free fillings" because we were dissatisfied with the service. Later we found out the dentist was already offering a free dental day, so that didn't feel like a genuine effort to make things right. On our final visit, Alex was nowhere to be found until I specifically asked for him because I wanted to express our concerns and give them one last chance to make things right. When he finally appeared, he gave a lame excuse saying he had been speaking with the dentist. He never made any real effort to resolve the situation or stand behind the work that was done. It honestly felt like Alex didn't like that I spoke up on my mom's behalf. His behavior was extremely unprofessional and a complete disgrace for someone who is supposed to represent Byron Dental. After spending over $9,000 and going back multiple times, we left with the same results and no real accountability from the office. 0/10. I do not recommend this office to anyone. I hate that my mom had to go through this experience, and I would strongly suggest others think twice before trusting them with their dental care.
