He was in terrible pain and this was the only place that could get him in. He had very good insurance but was pressured into paying for the procedure in full. Ok, whatever. Dr. Tam kept him waiting for hours and after using high pressure scare tactics somehow pressured him into opening a credit account for future work to be performed. She even charged thousands on this account for work that had not been done yet. He repeatedly told her he didn't need the account and just wanted to get the procedure done that he came in for. He was desperate and went ahead with his root canal because he was in so much pain. After the procedure she allowed him to drive himself home which was crazy since he had been heavily medicated. However she never bothered to give him a prescription for antibiotics which he absolutely needed. Mind you she was aware that most pharmacies would be closed on Christmas day. I spoke to her the next day and found her to be disingenuous and condescending. Although she seems to have many seemingly positive reviews I recommend running away from this place as fast as possible. Please take time to read all of the negative reviews because they are certainly more accurate to our experience and many other trusting people unfortunately.

I never had a bad experience, I mean no kid likes having to get a shot but we talked about it first so I could understand why he had to do something that slightly hurt (great injection technique). This Dr was one of several that were there for you when you needed them. I think Dr. Miraglia gave me stitches after an accident, my mom didn't want me to have a bad scar & knew that he was the best doctor plus he was willing to stay at the ER later to suture me up. I wish I hadn't had to move when I did cause I have never liked any Dr more than my original pediatricians! I always hoped that I could return to the area so any children I had would see Dr's I already knew & felt comfortable with. I liked that the office was full of experienced Dr's that truly cared. I know my late mother would be able to write an even better review as a nurse/mom but since she can't I'll just say that she would be giving him an epic 5 star review.

He almost snipped me as a newborn when everyone thought I was going to be a boy! I came out a girl. He has been the most amazing doctor I've ever had. I dread going to the doctor, but when I was little (and even all the way up to being 19) I LOVED going to see Dr. Miraglia. I was always excited to see him. He always had my mom and I giggling and happy, no matter if I had pneumonia or a small rash. He is absolutely like family to my mom and I. He also saw my brother most of his life, who is 30 now. We are both incredibly healthy and happy kids. This is more of a personal review, but don't let that review (that only one) with one review steer you away from Dr. Miraglia. Your kid will leave with a smile on their face, a new sticker every time (that was one of my favorite parts of the visit) and you knowing your kid is in the best shape they can possibly be. If not, he'll fix it. Also, he's a DOCTOR, he's not going to ask you a medical question that he needs to physically see! It's called a damn physical! Ridiculous. Anyway, he's amazing!

Many times he personally has called to check in on a sick kid or to return a message left for him and to ease my mind or give direction what steps to take. Dr. Brewer makes a personal connection. Don't get me wrong, my nurse practitioner is the absolute best anywhere. My complaint is with the front reception area. They'll be 10 people standing in line waiting to be checked in and six to eight people sitting in front of their computer screens totally ignoring the people in line. They're sitting talking on the phones in what appears to be personal phone calls as well basically joking around with each other, or just pretending that they don't see the people standing in line. I've worked in customer service for many years, you don't basically ignore the customers just because you think that they have to be there and you have some sort of unseen job security. Try doing your jobs and helping people who need to see a doctor instead of gossiping and goofing around on the job.

I think that Chris Hightower, their ADAP coordinator, is awesome, and he has always responded to me in a timely manner. And the doctors and nurse practitioners that I have been treated by have been stellar! Dr Lozares-Lewis is AMAZING!! She always listens thoroughly, pays attention to ALL my issues, and radiates a sense of absolute empathy, as though if there is ANYTHING that she can do to help, she will do it. The wait time at the lab can be a bit long sometimes, depending on the day of the week, but I was there last week and they had developed a new(er) system of wait times when you sign up, and it seemed to work better - I was treated at the time that I signed in for. It is not a perfect place, but it is FAR better than some other places I have been to. I really like the facility and the people who work there a LOT.

I've used the ER multiple times and been in the cardiac ward more than once. The doctors are caring and good and smart and knowledgeble. I've had many procedures done. Fortunately all they do i bill your credit card monthly for the premium, but even that is sometimes done incorrectly. It's a mysterious black hole.

I was speaking to one of the secretaries and an MA inserted herself into the conversation and gave me attitude and tried to belittle me. Honestly, if you hate your job working with patients then work at a cemetery. This isn't the first time I've seen the women at this department act so rude. An elderly black lady with a walker was sent over from a different area and told to check in at 230. She explained how they told her she would be seen here. An MA/secretary basically bullied her and said "you shouldn't be here, who's your doctor, why would you be sent over?!?!" I'm thinking, "dude, she's like old. Chill, this isn't a government secret building and she's not gonna break in" The elderly patient further explained and you could tell the worker saw she was in the wrong. Honestly don't check in at 230 or file a complaint like I did when you have mean girls in the office who have attitude and mistreat their patients. I understand that you get patients who are rude and say annoying/stupid comments but don't treat innocent patients l as if they're in your damn nerves.

This Sutter building is quite nice and I noticed that a receptionist is sitting there as you enter the sliding glass doors. There are a number of wheel chairs right by the front door in case there is a need. I am happy to see the lab is open on Saturday mornings.
