I am extremely pleased with the results of the reverse total shoulder replacement that Dr. Parsa performed on January 28, 2026. This is a very exacting procedure involving cutting planing, drilling and reeming all at precise angles and with very tight tolerances; then meeting up two implants in 3D space with no room for error. After 7 weeks I have twice the range of motion I had pre-surgery and no pain. Due to the great care taken in closing the incision I have minimal scarring. I am BTW no young athlete. Dr. Parsa did a partial meniscectomy on my right knee in the Spring of 2024. It was supposed to be a minor procedure with a full recovery. Two years later my knee is in worse shape and I have more pain than I did before she operated. In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten another opinion or asked more questions. Dr. Parsa was supposed to simply trim a torn meniscus that was giving me discomfort. Instead, she removed most of the cartilage leaving me with more pain than I had before. I found Dr. Parsa to be friendly but impatient and I felt like I was rushed through post opp appointments. She continued to tell me to be patient with my recovery, and offered few solutions. I ultimately got a second opinion from another surgeon who told me the surgery I had left me with no real options other than to change my lifestyle. Dr. Parsa may be a wonderful surgeon and great option for you, but make sure you discuss every option with her before you operate, as I feel like she made decisions without discussing with me which has left me worse off and very frustrated with the result. read more

I had two torn meniscus in my left knee and been suffering for quite a while. I had surgery one day ago from Dr Parsa and her wonderful team. She sent me home with everything to be prepared for inflammation, pain and her moral support. Day one after surgery I have not taken any pain meds and following her strict orders and feeling pain free and happy. Happy because I had my other knee done elsewhere and had so many opinions of what doctors I should go to from all the fancy ones to local favorites. I believe the success of my surgery is Dr Parsa. I saw it with my wife who had two shoulder replacements and now myself with my knee, I think her gentle demeanor and calming effect in the OR are key to this . Dr. Parsa has no bedside manner and is rude. She does not listen to what you are asking and is just fixing to get you out as quickly as possible. Even though she makes you wait an hour after your appointment to see her. She does not communicate well, nor does she explain. I had taken my mom in for a visit, and as my mom was speaking, she had her back turned to my mom and not even listening to what my mom was trying to explain, very rude. She is egotistical and thinks she's too good for her patients. The second time that I took my mother in again she didn't even bother to come in herself and sent in her PA. And their office is hard to follow up on. They take weeks just to give you answers to certain questions. Wish we had never come here in the first place. And we are never going back. read more

There was simply no examination of any kind whatsoever. The whole consultation lasted about 5 minutes. Extremely disappointed. She has no empathy, no bedside manners, rude. I could tell she has little experience. I have had a total of six surgeries one after another trying to get rid of nerve damage/compression, been treated by numerous doctors. Take three different types of pain medication just to be able to stand to shower. Desperately looking for treatment after treatment to alleviate pain. These types of doctors get paid by disability/WC insurance companies so they can deny claims when is rightfully due to disabled patients. Absolutely pathetic and shameful to say the least. I say living life because without walking properly and not being able to do the things you love what life is that? I feel so blessed to have found her. I was sent to Dr. Parsa for my Forever Labs stem cell procedure (look it up if you don't know about it yet!). I had a friend who did the procedure a few years back in a different city and it sounded like a horrible experience. Thankfully, mine with the exact opposite. Dr. parsa and her assistant were patient, kind and explained each part of the process step by step in advance so there was no confusion as to what would happen. The actual process itself wasn't even painful. The worst part was sitting up after I finished. I was a bit dizzy as if I had just given blood (my fault for skipping lunch). But they gave me some juice, water and snacks. Dr. Parsa took about 10 minutes after the procedure to talk a bit more about the exciting world of stem cell therapy and the breakthrough treatments she's doing with NLF players and other athletes. I wrenched my knee one morning while working out and had extreme pain, could barely walk and couldn't bend it at all. I was able to get an emergency visit with Dr. Parsa the same afternoon. She immediately did X-rays and sent me for an MRI. Her office even coordinated the MRI appointment for me. By the time of my follow up visit with Dr. Parsa to review the MRI results, my pain and range of motion had significantly improved to where surgery wasn't indicated. But Dr. Parsa was terrific throughout, took her time explaining my injury, options available, discussed all my concerns and ideas and made helpful, supportive suggestions. I highly recommend Dr. Parsa to anyone who has an orthopedic concern. She is everything you want in a doctor, concerned, caring and very qualified. Dr. Parsa is amazing! I came in with a pretty severe back injury (my second one of the same type of back injury- a few years later), and within 24 hours I felt like a new person. This same injury 2 years ago took me months to heal. She asked way more questions and was way more detailed than other orthopedic doctors I have been to. I have a hideous rotator cuff injury that is truly painful. My mom had the unfortunate occurrence of breaking both of her ankles. But, fortunately while in Little Company of Mary Hospital we were introduced to Dr. Ronna Parsa. We were a little worried that my mom may need surgery but Dr. Parsa suggested that surgery would not be necessary. While we were somewhat relieved, we were a bit hesitant since we were not certain my mom would recovery properly without surgery. Dr. Parsa put us at ease by saying, "This is the same diagnosis I would give if you were my mom" Dr. Parsa and her assistant, Alex Vasquez were always kind, patient and never rushed in any and all of our follow appointments we had.
