The doors slide open so beautifully that I can open them with my pinky.. We had to match some stains and he came back specially two or three times to make sure I was perfectly happy with the color match. He is very friendly and really cares that his customers are happy. we had looked at a lot of different options for who we were going to choose for our windows and doors and we liked the personal attention and we could see that he really loves what he does. some of the other companies sometimes seemed like they were very aggressively trying to rope us in. He has a team/ crew that are on call around the clock and have come back several times to try to find the grids for my windows, which were so old that they were not even made any more. This required looking at floorplans and his team was very diligent and patient. He knew that I was rushing to get the job done in time for my birthday . Lenny first came to change the locks on my dad's co-op after my father passed away and we were preparing to sell the unit. I explained to him that we had an unstable family member who used to stay with my dad and might try to break in. Lenny not only added an extra security lock, but also advised me to leave a note in the window so other locksmiths would think twice if that family member attempted to gain access with their help. Sure enough, that family member did try to break in and change the locks -- but thankfully, they had called Lenny. He immediately recognized the co-op, remembered working with me, and gave me a heads-up. Once he realized what was going on, he refused to do the job. I really respected his integrity. Later, once the family member was evicted, Lenny was incredibly supportive and flexible as I navigated the next steps. He understood I wouldn't have much notice and worked with me to re-secure the co-op as soon as possible. Mike is the first "handyman" I've used on Long Island and so long as he keeps accepting my business…read morehe's likely be the only one I use! He is GREAT, not only at what he does but just being an overall nice guy in general. We just finished a home renovation project and were in the process of putting our house back together (furniture, picture hanging, ect). I contacted Mike about putting some chairs and dressers together as well as hanging several mirrors and pieces of art around the house (one of which was a huge portrait for over the fire place). We fully expected the job to take between six to eight hours but asked him to come for three hours first because we weren't ready to spend that much money after our renovation. To our great delight, at the three hour mark he finished all but one of the items on our list. We went ahead and paid for another hour and got everything we needed put together and hung in four hours (half the time and price of what we were expecting). The real gold star for him though, is him giving my friend his screw gun while she was putting my drapes up. He could have easily stood their laughing at her trying to screw it in and offer to do it himself (at a cost) when she ultimately failed. Instead he offered up his own tools so that she was able to complete the job. He's a real stand up guy and I'm happy to have done business with him! Highly recommend!
