Now that I finally got to actually eat here, WOW! These are the best wings I have ever put in my mouth, I have never had smoked wings! The server was Kathleen. She was very welcoming and knew her clientele well. The bathroom was clean and right off the kitchen. It is a small intimate venue. The wings were delicious and well seasoned. The macaroni salad had fresh basil, with green and red peppers. I also added the celery sticks which were also fresh. Unfortunately they no longer offer the ribs since COVID 19. I was not the only one requesting this. I hope they bring it back. read more

Yesss! The fried corn fritters are the perfect carnival food: fried, steaming hot, powdered sugar, Aunt Jemima syrup. I would not have needed a meal if I ate all the fritters. Get these! For lunch, I ordered spicy jerk BBQ chicken wings... and they were DELICIOUS. My eyes teared up but the flavor and freshness were so good. I believe these BBQ chicken wings are the best I have ever eaten. The restaurant/shack seats about 30 people and quickly filled up with men on their lunch break. That was awkward as their conversations were raunchy. Local flavor, I guess. read more

I used to frequent this restaurant on a somewhat regular basis until I heard the owner berating his staff and loudly cursing from the kitchen. The nail in the coffin was seeing Trump signs at the restaurant. I would not, in good conscience, return there. read more

A gem of a BBQ! Simply the best pulled pork I've ever eaten and I have eaten at BBQ places ranked in the top 10 throughout the South. Great BBQ sauce and outstanding smoked wings! Sides are very good with the coleslaw a real winner. Only open 4 days a week from 11 to 2, but well worth a visit! Very friendly staff. read more

Sad to say we used to love this place, and go there probably once a week. Th first problem was that they stopped selling their signature ribs. Reason: their vendor had priced them somewhat out of reach (according to the owner's wife). The second issue is that the folks taking the orders tell us that we can't order without the BBQ sauce. I love it but the wife's digestion can't tolerate it. Her order always arrives with a big load of BBQ sauce - why can't they simply omit this? The last problem, and the deal breaker was their hours. They hardly appear regular, and they frequently closed early. We were told by an employee that this is because they are watching costs, and figure that it's prudent too close early if traffic is slow. We frequently go out after 2pm to get lunch, and can no longer depend on this place to be available (their initial claim was that they were open until three). Sad to see, as we love the staff, and in general the food. It's a pity, but I expect that the extremely limited hours will cause them to fail. read more

There is outside seating. The smoked wings were to die for!!!! Fall off the bone. The ribs were amazing too. Don't miss the beans either. This hole in the wall Resturaunt is definitely up there with some of the best BBQ I've ever had and their pulled pork combo which comes with two sides and drink is a bargain! We recently found out about this little place so we went with some friends to have lunch. The inside seating is small but, we found a nice table when were walked in and were greeted by a server as soon as we sat down. She took our drink orders and gave us a menu. It does not take long to look it over and decide, unlike some other places where they hand you a large menu that look like a library book. The speciality is bar-b-que so we decided to try a few different offerings and share. So we got 1/2 slabs and pork platters. The pork has a very good light smoky flavor, no fat, no gristle and the meat just falls off the rib bones. We got sides of slaw, fries, onion rings and beans. All were very good and we especially liked the slaw as it was crisp with a touch of sweet and the rings had a light breading, sweet and not dripping grease like many other places we've had them. And again unlike many of the other places we eat the owner came over several times to check on us and was very personable. What a positive difference it can make in a business. So if you enjoy bar-b-que give this little place a try. I do not think you will regret it. read more

This is the best little place around. It is a family affair. Started as a hot dog cart. If you like Ribs you need to stop by on Thursday or Friday. They really fall off the bones and they give you more than you can eat. I love the Jerk Chicken on Wednesday. But if you just need your BarBQ withdraws taken care of, try the Pulled Pork. I have even had them put the Jerk Sauce on my Pulled Pork. But they have a great little menu. Even have awesome fries and onion rings. A must if you are driving through. read more

Best wings on the planet. Seriously. I do love my wings, have tried wings from all over the world, and their 'sweet heat' wings are absolutely perfect-- fall off the bone, hot, tasty, delicious. If you like ribs, you won't find better ribs this side of Memphis, and I've eaten at some pretty good rib spots all over the south. Great taste and perfectly prepared. Sides are also outstanding, as is the stellar service; they often have some special sides available; just ask (like roasted sweet corn in season). They are only open for lunch Tuesdays thru Saturdays from 11-2, but who cares? Service here has always been outstanding-- they've extremely attentive to your needs and go out of their way to make you feel at home. It's a real pleasure leaving them a five star rating. read more

WOW! Other than they like it saucy it is the best BBQ, I have had in the area. Pricies are Great, of course we all would like them cheaper but a mans got to make a living and they are not out to make a killing. Note: Ribs are only one Thursday or Friday. Pro's: Quick, affordable, Large portions, friendly staff, Small but simple menu. The Sweet tea is almost perfect. Cons: Caned drinks or iced tea only. Beans while taste great may have a little to much kick for some. Coleslaw is okay, flavor is good, but they could give a little larger portion.
