It's been a long time since I had been here. I had the pot pie and it was delicious. This is good comfort food. You can't get much better than cheddars. They had one when I lived in Spring Lake, New Jersey, but I think it went out of business. My sirloin was ordered rare and it came out medium at best. Ok no biggie, they made me a new one. Second one was mid rare but I guess I should know better than to order steak other than a steak house. It took quite a while for the recook which seemed odd. By the time it came out I wasn't even hungry anymore and it looked about half the size. No offer of anything to make up for it. They did apologize at least. The food was also very greasy like it hadn't been drained well. However, this is a chain and as far as chain restaurants go this is 4 stars all day. The food is much higher quality then you would find at an Applebee's or Chili's and the price point is actually better (For an appetizer, two meals and an alcoholic beverage it was 39$). When we let her know that it was my cousins first time visiting the United States she was quick to roll out the red carpet and some nice touches such as requesting a fresh batch of fries and giving an extra serving of the amazing cinnamon croissants.
