    HOW DID MY 25 YR ROOF NOT EVEN MAKE IT 5 YEARS? YOU WILL REGREAT DEALING WITH ROOFPRO!!! They installed a 25 yr roof in Oct 2013. 4 yrs 5 months later shingles were flapping in the breeze and being blown off my roof. When called for repairs they refused to do any work claiming it was out of warranty. After finally speaking with a Mgr they said will see what they can do. 2 weeks later I had to called back and was told they already came out and fixed. they never told me they were coming out, going on my property, and do any work. Funny thing, they never had anything on file or documented that they came out. At first everyone in the office said they it was because they changed systems. But in then in my BBB review, they claimed having full awareness and saying they even did work, you can read the more in-depth review at the BBB CASE#: 36195681. by the way, the roof looked in worse shape after they "repaired" it. In 2022 I had a roofer on my roof who pointed out an excessive amount of the nails holding the shingles in place were bent in half and just hammered down, nails were driven crooked, and one was even sticking out 2 inches pushing the shingle well off the roof. This resulted in holes being pushed through shingles, shingles not sealing properly, shingles being blown off the roof, and ultimately voiding any shingle warranty and basically installing a failed system from the beginning. In an effort to give RoofPro the opportunity to fix the problem they caused; they continually hid behind a warranty rather than owning up to their mistake. After reminding them the roof wasn't installed to speck, I was eventually offered a new roof at more than half the cost of a new one. WHY SHOULD I BE PAYING MORE WHEN THEY SCREWED UP? So I spoke with the owner who gave the same defense as everyone else but eventually was willing to work something after a 30 minutes conversation. A few days later the owner picked up doing business and trying to make deals VIA TEXT despite asking for clarity multiple times and speaking rather than text. Ultimately the owner said if I don't agree by Friday the price will go up and be available for the remainder of the month. After being forced to pay for their mistakes or allow things to get worse and pay more later, I reluctantly gave in and asked when they could be out here. With no response by the following Monday I text the owner requesting a follow up, NO RESPPONSE; I called the office and left a message, NO RESPONSE; I called his cell phone, NO RESPONSE; and even was told the owner was never in the office. After a week of phone calls, text messages, voicemails, etc, it was clear they were dodging me and taking no ownership of the poor job they did. So I went to the office to confront their poor customer service and speak with the owner. I was told he wasn't in; no one was willing to assist me and was told I would have to take up any issues with the owner, not them. That's when I went to the BBB which RoofPro didn't care about because they declined to fix the problem they caused even though I responded to his ultimatum. Their reasoning for declining the fix was because I said I would write a review about my experience with them. They said I threated to tarnish their reputation. If they screwed up and don't own up to it, I think they are tarnishing their own reputation more.

    This what they ripped off my roof and said it was rotted.

    We had hired RoofPro in severn Md and they did what I told them not to do. The also ripped up good wood from the roof and replaced it with my wood. I wont say they wasted all the wood just most of the wood. out of 24 sheets I would say 2 wasn't wasted. We had made an agreement to resolve the problem they reneged on it because I wouldn't sign a document stating that I wouldn't say bad things about their company. Then when I posted a bad review on facebook they blocked me. I have taken off two days when they asked me to. one was to receive the wood that they took away. the second time is when they cut a hole in my underlayment and didn't even patch it. Now I paid for a new roof and it has a hole in the underlayment and an overlay of wood I said I didn't want. It's your call if you use this company I can just say what happened to us.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. I thought he was going to find the opening and schedule me for a later date to fix it. To my surprise it was done ASAP. I'm so happy he was able to assist in me evicting the furry squatters also known as Sasha the squirrel and her friends.

My project was complicated because my 1980s drywall shafts were the wrong size for modern solar blinds. Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. It is not a simple fix but an upgrade, for free. See the attached before/after pictures and the broken plastic. Like most customers, I contacted a few contractors before selecting Winfield Builders. Their price is VERY reasonable, and the communication through Yelp was professional and transparent. It is rare to find a contractor who cares this much about the details. Zach made a strong impression from the start--when he came out to inspect my roof and I told him of a problem area, he went up on the roof to look at it! Replacing the roof took only one day, the crew arrived early and worked very hard. I also had the gutters replaced, opting for 6" gutters. The larger size has made a huge difference, as they're less likely to get clogged. My home is in good shape thanks to Winfield Builders!
