Roof Pro was recommended by our old HOA management company. When we interviewed them around 6 years ago for the home we were moving into, another company told us the roof was so bad we had to replace the entire roof. But Will at Roof Pro showed us that only part of the roof would be a problem. We went with Roof Pro, and years later I can say for sure that Will was correct. Another much cheaper company told me at that time that a skylight had to be replaced, but Will showed me that what looked like damage under the skylight was just a bad paint job at the top, so we didn't have to replace it. Will also has been so responsive to me for all these years. 2 or 3 times when we had internal damage, he came right out to evaluate. Only one of those times did he find a roof repair needed ( the others were not caused by the roof). But his responsiveness was impressive ( which is important if you think that water is seeping down into your home)! I am now having another skylight replaced and some more roof work that was finally needed. I trust Will so much that I did not get another quote. Also, in this new job I needed metal put over an unsightly area on the side of a lower stone wall, and since they were using metal for flashing on a part of the roof, they agreed to put some of the metal on this other area. My point is that the workmanship on this other, very visible area, turned out to be excellent,. I recommend Roof Pro highly. read more

Steven honored the miscommunication and wound up providing a no cost inspection!!!! That's stellar integrity right there, so I thought at the time. They even alerted me to the fact my windows were in need of caulking. I wanted to do a price comparison so did not move with them right away. That decision blighted me with this company and what follows is the reason for my rating. When I called back to have the estimated work done, I left a message. Their call back was received by my voice mail system where a disparaging remark was being made about me in the background after the office assistant left a message. I decided to go with Trustworthy Construction, a Christian company that not only replaced my missing shingles, repaired a bad nailing job done by the builder and sealed my roof exhaust pipe for $220 less than what was quoted by RoofPro, who didn't even mention the vent. Win for me. My neighbor went with RoofPro, I just smiled and recommended Trustworthy Construction and sent her their contact information for any future roofing needs. Mayhap this review will inspire better customer service/phone conduct. At the very least, some advice to RoofPro: make sure the phone call is disconnected before indulging in snarky comments regarding a potential customer. read more

HOW DID MY 25 YR ROOF NOT EVEN MAKE IT 5 YEARS? YOU WILL REGREAT DEALING WITH ROOFPRO!!! They installed a 25 yr roof in Oct 2013. 4 yrs 5 months later shingles were flapping in the breeze and being blown off my roof. When called for repairs they refused to do any work claiming it was out of warranty. After finally speaking with a Mgr they said will see what they can do. 2 weeks later I had to called back and was told they already came out and fixed. they never told me they were coming out, going on my property, and do any work. Funny thing, they never had anything on file or documented that they came out. At first everyone in the office said they it was because they changed systems. But in then in my BBB review, they claimed having full awareness and saying they even did work, you can read the more in-depth review at the BBB CASE#: 36195681. by the way, the roof looked in worse shape after they "repaired" it. In 2022 I had a roofer on my roof who pointed out an excessive amount of the nails holding the shingles in place were bent in half and just hammered down, nails were driven crooked, and one was even sticking out 2 inches pushing the shingle well off the roof. This resulted in holes being pushed through shingles, shingles not sealing properly, shingles being blown off the roof, and ultimately voiding any shingle warranty and basically installing a failed system from the beginning. In an effort to give RoofPro the opportunity to fix the problem they caused; they continually hid behind a warranty rather than owning up to their mistake. After reminding them the roof wasn't installed to speck, I was eventually offered a new roof at more than half the cost of a new one. WHY SHOULD I BE PAYING MORE WHEN THEY SCREWED UP? So I spoke with the owner who gave the same defense as everyone else but eventually was willing to work something after a 30 minutes conversation. A few days later the owner picked up doing business and trying to make deals VIA TEXT despite asking for clarity multiple times and speaking rather than text. Ultimately the owner said if I don't agree by Friday the price will go up and be available for the remainder of the month. After being forced to pay for their mistakes or allow things to get worse and pay more later, I reluctantly gave in and asked when they could be out here. With no response by the following Monday I text the owner requesting a follow up, NO RESPPONSE; I called the office and left a message, NO RESPONSE; I called his cell phone, NO RESPONSE; and even was told the owner was never in the office. After a week of phone calls, text messages, voicemails, etc, it was clear they were dodging me and taking no ownership of the poor job they did. So I went to the office to confront their poor customer service and speak with the owner. I was told he wasn't in; no one was willing to assist me and was told I would have to take up any issues with the owner, not them. That's when I went to the BBB which RoofPro didn't care about because they declined to fix the problem they caused even though I responded to his ultimatum. Their reasoning for declining the fix was because I said I would write a review about my experience with them. They said I threated to tarnish their reputation. If they screwed up and don't own up to it, I think they are tarnishing their own reputation more. read more

We had hired RoofPro in severn Md and they did what I told them not to do. The also ripped up good wood from the roof and replaced it with my wood. I wont say they wasted all the wood just most of the wood. out of 24 sheets I would say 2 wasn't wasted. We had made an agreement to resolve the problem they reneged on it because I wouldn't sign a document stating that I wouldn't say bad things about their company. Then when I posted a bad review on facebook they blocked me. I have taken off two days when they asked me to. one was to receive the wood that they took away. the second time is when they cut a hole in my underlayment and didn't even patch it. Now I paid for a new roof and it has a hole in the underlayment and an overlay of wood I said I didn't want. It's your call if you use this company I can just say what happened to us. read more

Our house had a significant problem with the siding rotting on the shady areas of the kitchen and TV room. We had three companies look at it. One carpenter said the job was too big, the next one came out and after three weeks mailed us a scrawled highball estimate, and finally RoofPro came out and Abe made a detailed estimate of the various areas that needed fixing. Once the materials were available, they set up a time for the work. Communication with them has been excellent. The crew they sent was great: three honest and competent guys who worked like crazy to get the job done right. The way they re-sided part of the kitchen in vinyl was top notch, and the skill with which they cut out the rotting wood and replaced it with cedar siding on the side of the kitchen and the TV room was impressive. The job looks great; I almost hate to have the lovely cedar wood painted. They also picked up all of the old materials in a day or two, and the painters should be here tomorrow. I would recommend RoofPro to anyone wanting quality work at a good price. read more

Update! Soooo... The work was scheduled to be completed on a Friday in mid June. I took the day off so I could be home. I received a call that morning informing me they were canceling due to a staffing issue. (Ugh!) They assured me they did not need me to be home to complete the work and would take photos to document the work and said they would put it on the calendar for the following Tuesday or possibly Monday. I was not notified if/when the work was completed, the only way I knew was my trash cans were sitting in the middle of my parking pad when I arrived home from work (it was dark by the time I got home so I couldn't see the roof). I heard nothing from them - no invoice, no pictures. Fast forward to this Tuesday (beginning of August) when I received an email informing me I had a balance of over a grand due in 3 days. Imagine my surprise!!! I contacted them back stating I had never received contact prior to that email nor any documentation of the work. The reply I got basically said "Sorry, we will move back your due date to the end of this month and someone will get back to you about the work". At this time I have received two emails saying the project manager was "trying to locate" photos of the work (I am assuming they don't exist at this point) and I also have sent two unanswered (so far) emails last week - one asking if I was going to receive a mailed invoice and one inquiring about the status of the alleged photos. Update #2! Soooo the photos did not exist. I was contacted today by a manager who apologized and asked if there was anything he could do to remedy the situation. At this point I am not sure what could change things. I agreed to let him come to the house to evaluate the work to put my mind at ease about the situation. He came out and looked outside and inside and took some pictures. I feel like from what I saw the work that was done was good so that is a relief. read more

The job was further complicated with installation errors from the previous roofers install (missing clips, bathrooms not properly ventilated, etc). Wind and hail damaged our 25+ year old roof. Their Insurance guy Jim walked us through the negotiations. In the end we got a beautiful roof with a 50 year warranty. From start to finish it was a couple weeks. Great job and they cleaned up before leaving. The project manager sent pictures during the day to show progress. Overall, this company lacks customer service and communication skill. Their quality of work has yet to be determined (can't really test a roof!). This review is for a roof replacement (remove old and install new). Initially, their salesman Jim was friendly. No issues there. My negative experiences started after I had e-mailed the signed estimate to their office per Jims instructions on a Wednesday evening. With no response, I asked Friday afternoon if it was received. Several minutes later, they confirmed it was. Saturday evening, I sent an e-mail confirming the shingle type and color. With no response, I asked Tuesday afternoon if it was received. Several minutes later, they confirmed it was. Fast forward to the week of my install which was scheduled on a Thursday. Tuesday morning, the installers show up (obviously unxpected). They are eventually sent home after we all confirm it's the wrong day. Wednesday morning, the shingles get delivered (unexpectedly). According to RoofPro, it's standard practice to deliver materials the day before, however since I don't get roofs installed every day I wouldn't know that. Why couldn't they give me a heads up about the delivery? Are most customers OK with delivery trucks showing up unexpectedly and waking them up? Why did I have to confirm receipt of important documents 1+ business days after I had sent them? Why did the installers come on the wrong day? To their credit, the roof looks good. The installers were friendly and did a good job cleaning up afterwards. The office was pretty apologetic after the delivery incident, and their price was one of the more competitive ones we received. We'll see how the roof holds up. read more

I had wind damage that needed repair, so I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate. I was given an hour window for the appointment, but the contractor didn't show up. When I called a half hour AFTER the hour window given for the appointment, I was told "Someone from the office said you had decided to sell your home as is." Since my home isn't even on the market, this was clearly specious. Needless to say, I am going, instead, with the contractor who did show up! read more

Totally unreliable! I called them for a small roof and gutter problem. They were going to call back the next day to set an appointment. They never did! The company that came out discovered that I needed a whole new roof, which I had suspected. So now someone else will get my thousands of dollars to replace my roof. Too bad Roof Pro! read more
