She was very nice and listened to what we were looking for. She didn't try and sell us stuff we didn't ask for. She was very knowledgeable about the items. Not pushy at all. If we didn't like it, she moved on quick. It was refreshing. And when mom found the one she wanted, Jas told her to make sure it was what she liked. We actually found out after it was her first day there. I think she did amazing on her first day. The sale was easy and the delivery went very smoothly. And Jas followed up to make sure everything was delivered and we were happy. We are very happy with our experience and we love the furniture! It was also priced very well. read more

The salesman did a great job. The delivery was pathetic. The delivery crew stopped at a neighboring house (I know this because Rooms To Go customer service said they had a photo and the house in the photo wasn't ours). They said they called and got no answer but I never got a call or voicemail and they never came to the door and knocked. Terrible times I've been buying a lot from Room To Go, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508 for years, recommend for my friend, family to go there too...but from now I not coming back there anymore . Last delivered is terrible, they let another company (SouTheast) delivery my stuff : bed room set, living room set, and them 3 clowns show up, look like they don't know what they doing...don't even call me or give a text before they come, sit and house and wait almost 3-4 hours, "messed up my floor", asked me for my fuirt, asked me for use bathroom and get my bath room dirty ass hell Worse thing is i have to show them how to put my stuff together, cost me almost $400 delivered fees and still have to show them?? What kind of shjt is it?. Customer service doesn't even care don't matter how many times I called, all I get back is "we will get with you soon" and never called back. Been waited over 2-3 weeks, and they know it they fault so the manager don't even wanna come out and talk to me when I go there. The delivery company offer me for $50. What the hell I'm going to do with that money? That doesn't even cover the stuff I bought to try to clean up the messed they left at my house. And that is my new house i just bought. They alway have nice things and the presentations are amazing. Will was great!!! He was down to earth, knowledgeable, understanding and honest about with us about what we wanted. We really love our new bed , love the mattresses we chose and it was a great price. There were many options to choose from but, Will made sure we got the bed that was best for us to sleep comfortably. He also made great recommendation on the mattress protectors. If you sometimes get hot at night there's a great one that's cooling to the touch and when I say it felt wonderful it was all that he said it would be. We will be back. read more

Even mediocre experiences have to be written about. Let's face it, this might not be as exciting to read as a restaurant review, but it truly is just as important. I have been to another Rooms To Go in another city and state before and received stellar treatment... exceeded my expectations going into a furniture store. I was greeted by someone right away, was shown around the showroom and checked-in on while I was looking around for what I needed. This location - the direct opposite! I was not greeted upon entering, sales people just looked at me... almost oddly (like I didn't belong there). Customer service is still of the utmost important these days; probably more than ever. I wasn't expecting someone to hover over me, but simply to be greeted by any staff member, regardless if they were going to help me or not. That's not too much to ask is it? I looked around the showroom to see if they had anything I was looking for. After receiving no greeting or an offering of any assistance, my experience was soured. You're probably wondering, why the 3-stars then? I was enamored with how this store was laid out... in a very organized fashion, which really helps one visualize how it will look in their space. The showroom was absolutely lovely, but I wish the customer service could have been a bit more on the proactive side. We purchased a sectional in Jan 22. Needed a repair June 23. Parts ordered July 23. Never heard back from the company. In Dec 23 I called for another update and they Indicated the parts not available so we have to get a reselect. It has to be of same value or more (we pay difference), plus we have to pay delivery again and taxes and any new extended warranty. This is how they get you. They won't refund your extended warranty, you can't buy a less expensive sofa. So buying the extended warranty on a defective sofa means we will have to spend yet another $1000 to get a sofa that lasts more than 18 months. I requested a call back from the manager yesterday- never got one. Please don't purchase from them- shop local and not a franchise brand in it only for the money. All I asked was to get the extended warranty refunded. I refuse to go spend another cent with them. They are an example of heartless big corp out to crush the small businesses. read more

If I could leave a zero for customer service I would. I purchased a couch and a chair from the Siegen Lane location. The furniture I love and the delivery men were very polite. However, the chair was delivered damaged - grease in two places on front and back plus a tear in the fabric. I am supposed to get a replacement this week on Thursday. At time of sale, I was told I could purchase the warranty the day of delivery. I called to purchase the day of delivery. The sales associate I purchased from "Long" was busy so another associate helped me. She was polite and told me she would call me back to confirm and verify the warranty. She called back in about 15 minutes - she told me the warranty was confirmed on both my couch and chair. I asked if I needed to provide my credit card to pay for the warranty which was $165 and she said no it would just be added to my purchase. Then I told her about the damaged chair. We discussed the damage, the delivery men were still there, and I was told someone else would call me about sending a replacement. I thought I had the warranty and they were charging my credit card that I had put the furniture on since it was being "added to my purchase". I received a call 5 hours later on Friday night from Will the manager telling me I had to pay for the warranty online by close of business that night or I would not have the warranty (this was at 7 pm the call)had already left after the delivery at 2 pm to head out of town for volleyball tournament with my daughter and did not receive the message. When I returned Monday I looked through voice messages and saw the message - I called immediately asked to speak to the Manager Will. Will was very rude and unhelpful. Manager Will proceeds to tell me I am not telling the truth that the lady sales associate told me to pay that day (which she did not). I told him then I wanted to return the furniture and rebuy to purchase the warranty (which is absurd) but what else can I do at this point. He then argues with me telling me point blank that the sales associate did not tell me I could return the furniture. I asked if he was present during my sales conversation or on the call - he says no. (exactly). Then he tells me again I am a liar!! I told him he needs to get customer service training because the way he was speaking to me was very rude. Rooms to Go is it worth losing a customer for $163 warranty. I do not have my furniture delivered satisfactory in the first place because it is damaged but I am not allowed to purchase the warranty that I said I wanted and tried to pay for! Then Will the manager actually hung up in my face! Yes, hung up in my face! A lady and a customer and this is how i was treated by a MANAGER OF ROOM TO GO! I will never do business with this store location again. Will the manager is unprofessional, degrading and tells customers they lie!! Try again - you should not be in a managerial role and speak to customers the way you did. Very poor behavior and very poor representation of that store. Rooms to Go should do better when hiring someone to represent their store. In response: I did email that email address and was told too late that furniture was considered delivered and I don't have the warranty. This goes directly against what I was told. I called before the delivery and had the warranty confirmed by sales associate. Told added to my order. I asked to pay and she said no it was already added. Then after the fact I am told I didn't go online to pay for it. No one ever told me to go online and pay! If so I would have! I had two conversations with her confirming the warranty. Also furniture delivered damaged - so is delivery complete - no! But according to rooms to go it is! That is horrible business!! Delivery complete even when I am delivered furniture with grease and tear in fabric! And I am told no warranty. Then manager hangs up in my face! Change needs to happen at that store!!! I will absolutely report this and let others know. Think bad reviews don't matter - they matter! People want a company to stand behind what they tell you for the sale. So once we buy we are hung up on and treated like liars! No thank you room to go! We have other options here in Baton Rouge - you need to do much better than this in town! read more

I brought it to the store hoping they would replace the obviously defective chair that makes up the 4th of a set. Unfortunately they a) can't b) wouldn't make it right c) don't make that chair anymore. So I'm now paying over $100 for a chair to only sort of match the set. Color me disappointed. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a Cindy Crawford Home Bello recliner from here and you cannot get service on the recliner nor can you purchase parts for the recliner. Customer service told me the recliner has been discontinued and parts are no longer available but unless that happened in the last couple of weeks, that is incorrect as I was in the store a few weeks ago sitting in this exact same recliner. Customer service has been nearly non existent anyway so I will never purchase from them again. Once the get your money, they want nothing to do with the customer. read more

I ordered a wall set (4 piece set). When they delivered it, the main piece (TV stand) was damaged. A couple of weeks later they delivered the replacement. It was damaged worse than the first piece! Bought new sectional sofa on 1/1/20. 6 piece sectional. One piece, the armless chair on back order until 2/14/20 Furniture delivered 1/13/20 Uh oh. One piece, the armless recliner does not fit. One week later technician from RTG Arrived, confirms they sent the wrong piece He put in order for replacement piece, says RTG customer care will take care of it Called customer care the next day and was told the report was not in the system yet, call back on Friday Friday couldn't get anyone to pick up. On hold for 10-15 minutes 2 times Called back Saturday the 25th. Left message after 10 minute hold for a call back. Never got the call back. Called again on 1/27/20 at least 3 times, stayed on the line 5-10 minutes each time. Never succeeded in speaking to anyone. 1/28. Finally get through to helpful representative So now the back order piece is coming 2/8 and the replacement piece on 2/11 When I bought this furniture on 1/1/20. Little did I know or expect it would take 6 weeks to get everything. Hopefully everything will be delivered as promised. My husband and I purchased a $3000 HYBRID MATTRESS and out salesman JACOB CHENEVERT LIED and said that we could try it out for 6 months and return if we were uncomfortable. I bought my bedroom and living room set here. The buying experience was fairly painless, and two years and one move later, the pieces look great. Though friendly on the budget, there's nothing 'budget' about the furniture; everything is solid, sturdy, and well-made. The only reason I'm taking one star is the insistence of my salesman that I buy a mattress cover to keep the mattress warranty. Though he may have honestly thought it was bed bug-proof, it wasn't (cover rather than an encasement), and I ultimately used the encasement I'd already purchased. A minor annoyance, but a friend ended up getting use out of it, so it all worked out in the end. read more

Biggest waste of time and money do not buy furniture or beds from here. Lied too. Showed up before scheduled manager was supposed to call never called. And received a rooms to go post card with the "you are important to us" quote scratched out with a Sharpe. F this place. I even called corporate with all the problems I am having. They refunded me 75 dollars on the 3 delivery fees I had to pay. Zero compensation for taking days off work for them to never show up with furniture. read more
