I've purchased many things from Rooms to Go. I usually go to another location and have always enjoyed myself and worked with great salespeople. Today I was at the location on 441 in Wellington, Florida. There was plenty of parking and the store was set up well but the salesperson who grabbed me was not interested in helping me. I was only searching for a small piece of furniture - a low tv console that is 70 inches long or less. He practically dismissed me. I did search the store and, unfortunately, they didn't have anything I wanted. This particular time was not a good experience but since I've had so many good ones, I'll continue to shop at Rooms to Go but it's not too likely I'll go back to this location. read more

Bought a sofa after explicitly telling sales guy AND his manager that the elevator in my 6-story condo may be too small for the sofa. The MANAGER told me TO MY FACE in front of the sales rep that the delivery guys would walk the sofa up 6 flights if needed. Wrong. Delivery guys said 3 floors is as high as they go. So I had to refuse delivery (on a sofa I've waited 2 weeks for. Called my sales rep. He confirmed the manager's comment and apologized...thanks, but I got no sofa after a 2-week wait. The salesman was fantastic..... however the couch we purchased I wish I never did.... The worst !! NOT COMFORTABLE in the least..... Hurts my back and my butt.....You cannot lay down on this couch what so ever not meant for that.... The wavy couch .......... If I could do it again and it is not even a year old I would never purchase a space age couch with electric anything..... a normal shaped couch with support and comfort THIS HAS NONE so sorry I bought this I would love to return it...... Oh well...... I will probably wind up selling it if my back holds out.... I have to go to the bedroom to watch tv on the bed....... RTG on St Rd 7 nice place we had a great salesman - however if I could do it again I would have never bought the most uncomfortable couch in the world !! Hurts the back and butt and it has the little waves in it so you can never lay down comfortably .... There is no comfortable..... I have a picture oh yes they recline .... I called one day with a few questions and a very helpful and knowledgeable young man assisted me. Darwin Abreu! I went right in to meet with him! Definitely ask for Darwin Abreu at Royal Palm location! He is extremely kind, understanding and no pressure! I am very impressed with Darwin. As a widow and this being an emotional decision and journey for me .. he was kind! So I absolutely love all the furniture I bought. The countertop dining set, the loveseat, the two chairs! The chairs and loveseat are incredibly comfortable! A big shoutout to Darwin! I will be back in January looking for s small server for the dining set! I will definitely ask for Darein! Went to look at sofas and see if we could get a Black Friday deal. We were greeted, and then ignored at the door by a sales person. Decided to look around. Saw a sales me with two ladies, asked if he would help us. The ladies were just leaving and one called over "Let Justin help you he's great." Justin was back with us in a few minutes and we have to agree with those ladies. Justin listened to what we needed. Showed up options in several prices, did not try to up sell us. No hard sell, just knowledge and listening to his customers. Because of Justin we bought a sofa that was $400 more then what we were considering (but is the best choice for us). When he was a no show, I replied to text and got useless robot response. Now, delivery is rescheduled for 9 days later. Now, I am looking at 10 days with no couch. I bought an sectional on 5/2/22 when receive on 6/28/22 the couch was wrinkle I called rooms to go and they said to wait for a week that the material will settle down but never happened, so I called again and they sent an inspector that used like an steamer and said nothing else he could do, I said I paid to much for this couch and that nothing he can do was not enough so I called again this time they said will replace it, but when was replace IT was worse that the first one, I needed my furniture and didn't want to bother again. Very disappointed. I ordered a living room set recently, which I received a wrong item. Rooms to Go was very quick to resolve - happy about that. I also decided to order an area rug to match my new set. It was scheduled to arrive in 7 - 10 days. It took over 2 1/2 months. Once it arrived, it was not even close to matching the set I bought (as it is very hard to determine colors on the computer). I contacted Rooms to Go internet sales division. I was advised that I had three options, pay them $69 to pick up the item, return it myself to the distribution center which is over 2 hours from my house and take it to UPS store and pay the fee to return. I find all of this unacceptable. I asked to talk to a supervisor, which I was transferred to another person who could not help me. I asked to talk to his boss, and his answer was "no". We ordered a bunch of furniture for our new house. The first dresser came with a chip in the corner of a drawer, rooms to go replaced it with the same dresser but with more damage. The edge of the front of the dresser has a chip and to the top the wood is splitting. Rooms to go said the furniture was no longer carried and there for couldn't be replaced which wouldn't make any since because it has a warranty. Rooms to go customer service insisted to argue the point that they can't do anything but offer a 10% discount. I've never had this problem with a furniture company selling a piece of furniture they can't honor a warranty on and replace. It's a shame because the couch we got we love but we still never order from rooms to go again. Terrible customer service over the phone and via email. No responses to emails sent weeks ago. read more
