And it's all situated basically in a U shape, with the parking lot in the middle, surrounded by 3 sides of stores. It's just large enough to have all the big names, but small enough that you don't get lost. From the middle of the parking lot, you can literally see every store. That way you don't have to wonder around aimlessly like in some larger malls. About Trader Joe's: there's isn't a convenient one near us in Queens. So, we always drive a little farther out here in Long Island. It's so much more convenient and less crowded here than in Queens. Asides from that, the location is also close to a couple of our other favorite places, such as Roosevelt Field Mall and Total Wine.

The Roosevelt Field mall is massive, clean, well-mapped, and perfect for a group challenge and a long day of exploring. I covered every square inch of this place- from the North and South wings to the East and West wings, alone!! Company would have been nice! I love the huge food court, and it does wonders for every palate. So many stores; Bloomingdales, JC Penny, Macy's and several other small clothing stores provided slim opportunities and did not fulfill my needs. One would think that they can find any and everything at a mall, right? Not in my case. Had I been looking for something simple, I may have not spent hours inside of Roosevelt Field mall and I would have stopped at one store. Not to be misunderstood, Roosevelt Field mall is an ideal place to look for excellent finds and thousands of people score with what they are looking for and what they are not looking for. For me, it was a no hitter this time, but I did see awesome sales with great value for the dollar. I won't count them out; I will come on another day when I am just browsing. I want to put that disclaimer out there. During my recent visit, I did see some dresses in the rack that had some rips. Really visible ones and it was shocking. They were on a sale rack but they were visibly and terribly damaged. When we were in the store, no one greeted us or asked us if we needed assistance. I felt a little bothered by this as it did not seem on brand. We were in the store for about an hour and 15 minutes most recently. It may have been that it was about an hour before closing. When the location was closing, the person was very kind on the intercom and it was so nice. I remember being in Saks 5th Avenue a couple of years ago and they were yelling at customers to get out. The kind goodbye without feeling rushed felt like nice hospitality that would make one want to return to shop. Please note this location is on the second floor and an escalator or elevator is offered to arrive on the second level.

I ordered a Bottega Veneta bag from the Saks OFF 5TH website and was so excited to receive it. Some parts felt hard and cheap, and it didn't have the shine or quality shown on the original website photos. The bag came in a plastic bag, and the dust bag inside was wrinkled and looked old, as if it had been used multiple times. A small paper booklet in different languages was also included, covered in a plastic bag that looked dirty and had cloth fibers stuck to it. I could not find any serial or authenticity number inside. Comparing the item to the original listing, it looks completely different. I can't believe a website selling such expensive designer items would allow fake bags to be shipped. I will never shop here again. Truly unbelievable.

Going in and finding exactly what I wanted made the shopping spree more than wonderful. The store was clean and the product in the section I was in, needed a lot of attention, however I did manage to find something at an awesome price. After picking out my treasured piece, I looked around the store for a few minutes more and then I headed over to the cashier where the service I received got better and better and better. SERVICE* So in reality, the service was GOOD because I found the container store. That's having a store available in the town I was visiting. The service got BETTER because they had what I needed, at a reasonable price and it's availability. The service was at its BEST when I checked out and paid less at check out and, not only that, I'm excited now.... The cashier left me dumbfounded when she put a Bed, Bath, & Beyond (BB&B) coupon in my bag. I was literally like, what's this. What's happening, what's going on. And then she told me that The Container Store will be stocking BB&B products in the store really soon. TOUCHDOWN!! IYKYK if you didn't, NYK!
