Such a fun place. Not a lot of options for dinner but a great place to hang out with friends and drink beer.

The fish tacos are freaking awesome. I didn't care for the house IPA, but they gave me the taste for free so what am I gonna complain about?

So I was torn between comparing this dining experience to the Ba'Taan death march or a re-imagining of the orphanage scene from Oliver. This was my 2nd 'Roosevelt' experience and I thought the quirky service the first time was just a one off. The food on the first trip had been ok except for the fact that my wife specifically asked if an item on the menu had arugula and after assurances that it did not guess what? It did. So this round we were ushered to a table, provided with waters and prompt attention. Much like a sighting of the Loch Ness monster or Big Foot this was almost our last sighting of the wait staff. I mean we knew they were there because we could hear them gathered around the bar watching tv and supposedly plotting ways to navigate around the restaurant without actually passing our table. Eventually we had what I like to call a 'staged' meal. That's like a multi course meal but instead of courses the kitchen just sends out random plates with a five minute window between each one. As the food was launched at our table we were once again treated like lepers at a handshaking contest. Ten minutes after the last plate finally made it to the table we were wondering if we'd be able to have some condiments for our meals. Luckily I've spent years hunting big game and was able to track down one of the many wait persons gathering around the bar. Condiments were on their way. Any hour now. Normally most wait staff pick up on the aggravated client who has had to get up several times to request things normally provided by the wait staff without request. Not these guys. Their ability to be indifferent to our needs was above and beyond the call of duty. Overall I would say this was an exceptional experience but as I said in the beginning I'm not sure if it was Ba'Taan or an Oliver exceptional. read more

Awesome restaurant with awesome beer collection. The wait staff was great and it has a great atmosphere.

From the moment we arrived and were seated outside we where given friendly customer service. We started off with delicious crafted cocktails that were unique from anything else we had tried at other restaurants in Tulsa. The appetizer with the peppers and beer cheese sauce was light,savory and just enough to start our meal with. The fried chicken ,veggies and grits blew us away!! So much so that we were still talking about it hours later. My only complaint would be that their price point on the drinks are overpriced, given the size of the drink they serve (tiny) . Other than that we will definitely go back and sit on the patio. read more

Don't bother with this overly pretentious hipster place. I had a turkey sandwich, turkey was really good, but everything else was mediocre to bad. The bread was so toasted it was hard and actually painful to eat. Others in our group had burgers, overlooked and dry. And so was the pork roulade. Basically everything we had was over cooked and dry. Everything sounds great on the menu but the execution just isn't there. read more

I haven't had food here yet, but their beer selection is amazing. You can get a full pint, or build your own flight for a reasonable price. Also have a patio suited for all seasons, heaters for the winter and misters for the summer! read more

This place was terrible. Sat at the bar and was not asked once if we needed anything or if we have ever been here. The bartender was unfriendly, The cole slaw was terrible, and there was floaters in the bottom of my drink! ( yuck!) The bartender and his friends mingled with their girlfriends and joked around the entire time we were there. I was really looking forward to trying this new place out since I live down the street but I am very disappointed. The best help we had all night was from a server, Jeremiah Murray who guided us through the menu and answered all the questions we had. THANK YOU Jeremiah! We really enjoy Roosevelt's! It's close to home and the beer menu is great for my hubby. I'm not a beer drinker, but I never have an issue finding a cocktail or cider I like there. My favorite is their Frose (a play on Rose wine, but slushy). Our only complaint about Roosevelt's is the frequently changing menu. A few of there staple items never change, but we've had some amazing appetizers there and we're disappointed when they weren't on the menu anymore. Doesn't stop us from going and it's still one of our favorite places to hang out with friends and get some good drinks! read more

Arrive early! If you arrive within 30 minutes of closing you'll be ADVISED, the kitchen is about to close. Therefore do you dare order & wonder what you'll "actually" get once your food arrives? Yelp showed closing at 10;00 pm, we arrived at 8:30 pm, checked in with hostess for a table, menus in her hand & ready to head towards table ...... here zooms little waiter-guy blurting out "you do know the kitchen closes at 9:00!!!" He was rude & then manager lady appears, tilts head & goes " sooorrry". Needless to say we left, avoiding any others coming out of the woodwork to ensure we went away! Awful Experience!! read more

We have been twice since Roosevelts opened. Great place for happy hours, casual drinking, and patio sitting. The food menu is limited but the items that we tried (fried chicken and FDR burger) were pretty good! Obviously, they have a ton of beer choices. I love getting to choose new beers to try with their beer flights! read more

We went for a business lunch last week. All three of us ordered the tenderloin burgers and finished about 1/3 each..I have never had a burger that dry. Also, the server rarely showed and nobody bothered to come take the appetizer dishes away when the burgers came. Very nice decor, poor food and service. read more

The service was extremely slow during a time when the place was not even busy. The waiter was very nice but took forever. To our surprise after waiting SO long the food was terrible. The burger was UNDERCOOKED and super soggy. Fries were cold. The 'mashed potatoes' were just awful. We sent most of the food back. The poor server was so sweet and apologetic however when the 'manager' came over she did not even apologize. She just let us know she took off one of the meals and gave us a comment card to 'write our complaint' while having an attitude the whole time. I will never return. We got better burgers from Whataburger. read more

We went to Roosevelts for brunch on Sunday. Word to the wise... Don't go at 3:00 or just don't go. Food was cold. Two different waiters ( who were actually very attentive and warm) told the manager and he never came to the table. This is our second attempt at Roosevelts and will be our last. Got the check and were charged for drinks and the "extra" sour cream that was asked for. Not a pleasant experience. Felt bad for the waiters... Upon surveying the rest of the crowd, we were not the only table dissatisfied with our food and saw other plates being sent back. Ultimately, the most frustrating aspect of this experience is that we want to support local restaurants in our neighborhood. We happily welcomed Roosevelt's into the neighborhood, and unfortunately, poor food quality and even worse managerial practices shone above all else. read more

What a disappointment! It's loud, the food is okay, not great. Yes, great beer selection, but not everyone (me) drinks beer. Their wine selection is bizarre. Wine on tap??? Cabernet served cold??? Because it's on tap??? Who does that?? Wine in a can?? Are you kidding me?? Their "normal" wine (in a bottle) is not anything you have ever heard of. Top (most expensive) selection was mediocre. They do not have wine glasses with stems, so white wine gets warm quickly. Horribly disappointing on the wine front. Couple that with real average food (my mother, who was not a good cook made better meatloaf), and, I seriously doubt we'll be back. read more

the beer on tap tasted old like they don't turn over very well. food was very over priced and service was slow. Seriously $12 for a burger and fry. Great new place on Cherry Street. Comfortable seating inside and out. They have a very good selection of craft beer and the food is yummy.

This place had an amazing atmosphere! The food was amazing as well. I went with a friend for Sunday brunch and had the Ruben hash. Everything about it was great! Now for the reason there is only 4 stars: the afternoon bartender that started at 2 (I say 2 because even though she was there at 1 she wasted time and ignored customers for that first hour) was rude and unwilling to help. The person I was there with asked for a reprint of his receipt and this slob looking messy dressed bartender started with "I can't even right now" and "You mean to tell me I have to do what for you now?" This childish bartender needs to get her act together. Fix her attitude or her being there and this place gets 5 stars easy. read more

We sat on the patio for happy hour one night and had a great time. Atmosphere and wine were great! We weren't a huge fan of the menu and couldn't decide on anything to get. Beer selection is impressive but was disappointed in the food. Menu is now very limited. Quality seems lower than a month ago when it opened. Burgers had a funny aftertaste like low quality meat. If you're looking for a long list of craft beers and fine liquors, you've found your place. The decor is fun and modern in a rustic way. I've had the tenderloin burger twice and highly recommend it. However their fries and it's bland dipping sauce are a big disappointment and the only reason I'm leaving them 4 stars instead of 5. read more

Excellent food and great atmosphere. Burger is a must-have: unique blend of meats that taste amazing. Meatloaf great as well, along with the Cousin Teddy. Mashed potatoes and French fries also great. Would highly reccomend, we had no issues and will definitely come back. read more

An excellent new edition to cherry street! My husband and I went late on a Friday. The place was packed, but they were able to get us in faster than expected. The service was excellent. I asked our waiter to recommend a new beer. He listened to what I liked and brought a great beer I've have never treid - Anderson Valley Gose . Thank you Michael! The food was not perfect, but very good. I had the summer trout which was delicious. My only critique was the skin was not crispy. The vegetables with it were cooked perfectly. My husband had the fried chicken and said it was the best he had in a long time. The desserts were tasty, but a little over powering. If you like very sweet and rich then it is perfect. We will definitely return. This is a great start for a new restaurant. read more
