    Really wise old turtle

Road trip today with my husband and 6 year animal lover . We passed by this farm stand so we had to turn around to get some produce although I feel like prices were the same as the big grocery stores I didn't get any produce since I just bought groceries Friday . We did buy cowboy jalapeños for $10 ,fresh pineapple salsa for $5 that I'm already planing tonight dinner with and precut melons to eat on our trip . They have homemade ice cream and kombucha. Homemade guacamole I seen the ladies making it because my nose led the way the aroma of onions ,cilantro and lime juice makes my mouth water $5 for a small container so I didn't buy it since I still have lots of avocados at home . They have goats that you can feed with produce you buy at the stand and chickens and a wise turtle that stayed away from the goats . My son loved it here . We will be back with a cooler next time .

What a unique fruit and vegetable stand. I would have taken more pics but due to the amount of people inside I didn't do it. Roosters is an amazing fruit and vegetable stand also offering fresh herb plants, homemade honey, salsa , guacamole etc. it even has table and chair for people to eat ice cream. Yep Therere is a Love Boat ice cream shop inside this stand. It is open during the same hours as the fruit stand. I was so happy to find my sugar bell oranges. They are actually mini honey bells oranges. The selection was fantastic and they even had farm fresh corn just picked. My hubby and I shall return to pick up some more fresh veggies and fruit.

The people here are so nice and knowledgeable. Selection varies but that's expected since it's a farm stand.

Fiancé loved his chicken sandwich. The fries were perfectly crisp. And my baked potato was delicious. Not a lot of vegetarian options, but the ones they have are awesome. Beautifully decorated. There's an outdoor bar and eating area. There's also a very large open indoor dining area adorned with a wraparound hand painted nature mural. Really cool. I thought that it might have been an educational conservation center or something at first. Anyway, we went on all our can eat shrimp or shrimp taco night. Our server was friendly and shared some recommendations. I opted for a burger and my husband got the all you can eat shrimp tacos. My burger was pleasantly tasty and the tacos were good. Note: it took a little time for the shrimp to come out after the first round came out so I recommend ordering the next round as soon as you get the ones you are eating. Also, specify how many tacos you want or you will probably get just one each time. The food was good. It was pretty empty in there, but I am sure the weekends with live music bring in more activity.

Fish was firm and tasty not soggy or overcooked. Fried apples, steamed broccoli, corn muffins and excellent iced tea. (3 glasses). Portions were good and we were stuffed unable to appreciate the cinnamon apples, so we took them home. Cheary Haley did us well as our server and we rewarded her service. We got there as the staff shifts changed and waited 15 minutes before being served. Hey, CB isn't a fast food cafe. It is a restful stop in our oftentimes hectic day. It is conveniently located at SR-80 and our "beltway" on I-75. We stop here 5 to 7 times a year and appreciate their RV policy & welcoming approach. In our year of travels it is the most frequented chain that we patronize.

Dave made a right instead of a left always heading home without asking me what I want. So we compromised and went to Cracker Barrel off of I -75 in Ft. Myers. I wanted breakfast and he wanted lunch. So our sweet server Haylee rescued me and I ordered scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, apples and a hash brown casserole. Dave had the Friday fish dinner with apples and cornbread. Actually she brought us a basket of cornbread, biscuits, butter and gravy. Dave had at least 3 glasses of sweet tea, coffee and water for me. I guess our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had a few leftovers. The only reason this review is 4 star is because the restaurant seemed like they were short of help. A lot of uncleared tables and a very long tie to get our food. My daughter says we follow the senior diet, a main meal for a late lunch and a super light dinner! Well anyway coming here worked out well for us. We relaxed after a hectic week and hydrated, enjoyed the food and the great service!
