Awesome onion rings.
Dayton B.

I have enjoyed their chicken and other dishes numerous times. I highly recommend their take out over their dine in as their dine in wait times for chicken can exceed 30 min. The chicken thighs are more consistent than their legs or wings when it comes to being succulent and not dry. Since it is broasted chicken it does not keep very well imo so I recommend eating it as soon as you can. I have tried many of their other dishes and most are ok. Their breakfast is a good option, however I do wish they served their hollandaise after 12pm. Since they do not, I find myself favoring other options. Rooster Too's onion rings are some of the best in town.

Ate here last night for the first time in years. The only reason we went was to watch a friend playing pool. I will never order food here again. I ordered a battered chicken sandwich and fries, nasty is how it turned out. Both the sandwich and fries tasted like fish, probably haven't changed the oil in a long time and the chicken and fries were overcooked. The waitress is the only reason I am giving 2 stars, she did her job great.

I walked here from my hotel to have breakfast. It wasn't too early. It was Sunday. I noticed they serve breakfast till noon on Sundays. I received great service from Stephanie! An excellent server on a busy Sunday late morning/early afternoon. I ordered a breakfast burrito which said it was NEW on the menu. It had a good mixture of beef, tater tots, egg, cheese, and anything else I forgot to mention. As sides, they gave me salsa, Pico de Gallo, and sour cream. This burrito was very filling and was a meal in itself just as their menu said! I am allergic to onions, so I had them put the Pico on the side so I can still pick them out and eat the diced tomatoes and jalapeños on the burrito. I had cranberry juice to drink. I stayed here a while, and the juice was refillable!!! Stephanie even gave me the last one to go without me even having to ask! I enjoyed the BarN atmosphere, and it was neat watching the football games. It was also a cool interior, simply decorated. I thought it funny being greeted by the rooster on the way in the front door. Would definitely be back here when visiting again. Highly recommend!

This place was close to the hotel I was staying at so I thought I would give a try. I placed my order for pickup and it was ready when I arrived. The people I dealt with were very friendly and provided good customer service. I hadn't had lunch and this was dinner time so I was real hungry and I ordered the Hog Heaven sandwich. From their menu : "Hog Heaven" Sandwich A super stacker with thin sliced ham, bacon, choice of cheese, topped with a pile of pulled pork, our bourbon BBQ sauce & fried onion scoops on a kaiser roll and choice of standard sides USD 9.95 It was all of that and delicious at a very reasonable price.

Pretty fun place to grab lunch and hang out. Prices are reasonable and the food, while pretty standard pub fare, is good and the portions generous. My favorite menu item here is probably the nachos. The broasted chicken is also wonderful - just know it takes about 20min to prepare if you order it. Service is always good, bathrooms clean and the atmosphere is nice.

Not sure why this place has 3 stars only. We are so picky when it comes to what good food is and it's soooo hard to find good food around this area. We were so pleasantly surprised with roosters. Soooo glad we tried it despite the rating is has. The popcorn was movie quality. My daughters burger was very good, my husbands chicken was amazingly juicy and flavorful, my chicken salad was great, and the bread that it comes with was the best bread I've had in my entire life! On top of the great good, our waitress was so kind and joyful and so were the other waitresses with their tables. It felt like they were serving us out of their home with love. We will definitely be back

First off, I don't normally give negative reviews. I've written this and deleted 3 times. IF I…read morecould give ZERO Stars to this place I would. Went there 2 Thursdays ago, after a LONG day at the Mayo Clinic. This place was just down the block from where we were staying and it was highly rated, so why not? Pulled up around 4 pm or so, the music outside was blaring so loud, I almost left. Had my wife not been so hungry (she had to fast that day for tests) I would have. Went inside and was greeted warmly by a host who explained the myriad of ways to order. So I stepped up to the ordering kiosk and, having reviewed menu items before hand, Ordered a single for my wife and a double burger for me. I asked the host what came with that, and was told everything was ala cart so kept it plain, but ordered some fries for both of us. Water for both. So, a double, single, fries, 2 water and the order came to over $30, which really surprised me. Expecting a great burger, I sat and the greeter brought FREE popcorn t our table, which was extremely salty and stale to boot. Burgers came on a nice-looking bun. I looked inside my bun and was greeted by the most pathetic looking 2 burgers I have ever seen. Overdone, dry and SMALL. It felt like they were reheated from lunch. 2 patty's didn't equal one patty at most other places. Had my wife not been so hungry, I would have gotten up and left. Even the two pickles (which are homemade, with a nice zing) didnt make the burgers any better. There were only about 6 people in the store so NO EXCUSES for not getting a better effort from the chef! So, conclusion, DON'T waste your money on this place. I would have been better off at Micky D's or Bugger King and saved money to boot. I WILL NOT be going back, which is too bad as I will be staying in the Rochester area for an extended period of time and about 10 minutes from this place. OH, Sorelina's, across the street is awesome, we at there the night before.

Pickles & popcorn are the highlights! Wouldn't have thought that would be the best part of the meal…read morelol. The pickles have the zing to the zang The burgers were just good not great- unfortunately the reviews i read didn't seem to line up to our burgers. Flavors were good on the toppings of the burger but the burger itself wasn't juicy (and yes i know they are smash burgers but I've had juicy smash burgers before).

After several subsequent visits in past months I am rounding up to 4.5 stars as the food & drinks…read morehave improved. The ambiance is still gorgeous! The service is improving but still a couple of odd one offs to fix like my husband's Manhattan was served over ice which is atypical. Edible flowers, that finally come in, along with some dried fruit, which were gorgeous, but also seemed dried and inedible in my humble opinion. Their classic gin and tonic with refreshing local mixers was still my favorite drink on the menu after we tried several from the happy hour menu in between appointments and dinner. The food including our Hot Honey flatbread pictured here was delicious & the Chef clearly was a pro. Easy to arrive by Subway from Mayo (in the Marriott lobby.)

We made 5:30 reservations so we had plenty of time to leave by 7:00 for a show at the Civic Center…read more We should have planned for two hours or more. Everything just took so long! Our server took the order for drinks and apps (spinach dip and cheese curds) around 5:45. At 6:10, our server dropped off the appetizers and we were getting nervous about time so asked to order right away and told her about the show. She went to go get her order pad and didn't come back until after 6:30. After ordering, we asked for our bill right away so we could pay and leave as soon as we were done eating. I paid through a QR code on the receipt (love that), but after I paid it - and added a tip - I saw that our party of 5 was already charged a 20% gratuity! On the menu it says gratuity is charged for parties of 6 or more, so buyer beware on that! I went to go find someone to talk to about the tip on top of the gratuity charge, and our server intercepted me and told me she would talk to the manager to have the duplicate tip removed. Food for *four* of us finally arrived at 6:55. We ordered a flatbread, walleye fingers, a French dip and two burgers. The final burger came out several minutes later. The food itself was decent. I really liked the spinach dip and the bread it came with was awesome- but there was easily twice as much dip than what the bread could accommodate. I recommend ordering more bread right away. The curds were good and spicy dipping sauce was really nice. I ordered roasted root vegetables instead of fries with the French dip. They were roasted with red peppers, mushrooms, onion and spinach (I think). I do not like peppers and it never occurred to me that they would be included. The sandwich was good, and my husband liked his burger, but we all had to gobble our food down to make it to our event. Overall - I definitely would not recommend eating here if you have a hard stop. We spent hundreds of dollars on dinner and were so rushed at the end it wasn't an enjoyable experience.
