Blackened Shrimp Taco's & Clam Chowder

Food was good and the service was great. Had the Lumber Jack burger. Blueberry BBQ was different but good. The one thing though that is bothersome is the aquariums are filthy. Eating and the seeing this tank dirty doesn't put a person at ease wondering if other places in the restaurant are just as dirty.

Great service, good grub, and an amazing view! Well worth the ride from Rathdrum on a day off looking for a good motorcycle ride.

We each ordered tacos, as it was taco Tuesday! I can't begin to tell you how flavorful they were. Val had shrimp and there were at least 5 shrimps per taco, with cabbage and a vinaigrette dressing. I had the pulled pork, scrumptious and the sauce, yum! These were huge, we didn't need anything else, but just had to share a lava cake. Over the top, mmmmm! Every thing in this place was cool, lots of aquarium's and old fishing equipment! Great decor. They also have a covered deck overlooking the river, too hot to sit out side that day.

We came here after some hiking in the area and it was a solid burger joint. There were a lot of different, bombastic signs around - the decor is a bit hit or miss. Some signs were funny and others were a bit ridiculous, but contributed to the interesting vibe of the place. There's an outdoor area by the river that has little domes. The domes are very cute, but lack a lot of air circulation so we got a bit hot (even though it was a bit chilly outside). The burgers themselves were good and solid: I ordered the Lumber Snack and it came with asparagus, which I've never had in a burger before. The asparagus wasn't really noticeable in it though since the burger packed so much. I've never had blueberry bbq sauce on a burger and that was very good/interesting - if you're down to try new foods, it is a great thing to order. I got a side of mac & cheese and it was very forgettable. I wouldn't recommend this side dish - it tasted like plain mac and cheese you could make yourself at home. A friend ordered the fries and they were good. We also ordered the root beers and I'd strong recommend: those were excellent.

The food is excellent. I had the 6oz sirloin and baked potato. Both were done to perfection. I like my potato hot and they made sure that it was. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. We are both in the dining room and in the lounge. Both offered great ambiance, decorated very cute and beautiful river views. We thoroughly enjoyed eating there. The prices are right in line.

The restaurant had a quaint downtown feel with a welcome lack of pretension. And the food was 5-star level. We started with the chilled caprese which was light and delicious. The balsamic drizzle, one of my favorites, really added to the depth of flavor. My wife ordered the salmon which came with a phenomenal sauce. It was tangy and tasted of dill and really elevated an already flavor- packed meal. I had the Thai pasta dinner which was a fusion of Thai flavors with an Italian flair. It will be one of my new favorites with the Thai spices in the sauce covering spiral noodles. If you are looking for fancy food with a "friend next door" vibe. Brava's is for you.

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and we shared the sun-dried tomato Tuscan chicken pasta -- both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The owner even surprised us with a complimentary steak bites appetizer that was incredibly tender and seasoned perfectly. Amazing food, outstanding service, and such a warm atmosphere both nights. We indicated that we were not, and would like to be moved. She left to check (?) only to return to advise that the televisions were all on the same remote. Others in the party dismissed it as an issue and decided to order. Management needs to take note and train hosts to ask which environment is preferred. There are too many neurodivergent people who can't handle the chaos, yet want to enjoy a nice meal. End rant. Meals were good all around, though my breaded steak bites were very salty and the au jus only added to my sodium intake. Great portions and flavor. Fresh herbs grown in a planter outside the front door. I'd gladly give 4 stars were it not for the noise and lack of consideration.
