$275 -- that's what I paid to walk out feeling heartbroken and humiliated. I went in for a balayage and a simple 5-inch trim, but instead, the KAYLA cut off 10-15 inches of my hair. My hair used to reach the middle of my buttocks -- long, healthy, and something I was proud of. I left with it cut above my chest, uneven, patchy, and with three different shades of color. When I reached out to the stylist KAYLA, she said it was "an easy fix." But hair doesn't grow back overnight, and I wasn't about to trust her again after she already butchered my hair. I hadn't colored my hair in 20 years or cut it in 5 years -- it was healthy and full of life, and now it's ruined. She claimed to have 15 years of experience, but it didn't show when she rushed me off the chair and overcut my hair without care. To make it worse, she refused to refund my money, only offering $65 for the haircut. After paying $275 for this disaster, I deserve a full refund. Liz did a good job with the actual hair but the dye application was just terrible. Mind you the photos are after I spend 20 min scrubbing the dye off my face. I went back and in and asked her to take it off and she said "black is hard". I have always dyed my hair black and the application has NEVER been like this. This was just BAD. It looked like I tried adding an inch to my hairline all over and the amount I had around my jawline and neck was crazy. I probably spent a total of 40 min getting the dye off and I scrubbed so hard my ear bled. I'M HERE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE; Here's to 'Plush Hair Lounge' and my girl Lizz Trust me, it's worth the read. First off, I discovered this location due to my regular salon not being able to assist me. (when I wanted long red hair... I wanted it... super bad habit of mine LOL) So I decided to look for places around the area and Boom! 'Plush Hair Lounge' salon popped up. (Last try from the 3 prior.) I walk in there first thing I notice is the atmosphere, it was very cute, very simple. Waiting Area with a little coffee section, their shelf with hair products was also nice. (I liked that it wasn't too overwhelming if you were to buy something on the way out) The energy was there is what I'm trying to get at! so I was like "Ooh love!" So I let them know what my idea was, and I already knew what they answer would be, same as the other locations. so I walked in there sort of knowing I'd walk back out. BUT I WAS WRONG. Hairstylist by the name of Lizz' walks up to me and starts talking to get a little more information of what I would like. - I went in there with hair length a little past my shoulders. Brown with Reddish on my lower part (Due to past color and having my hair grow out if that makes sense) - What I wanted.. LONG Hair, match it to my roots.. but maybe red to match the color from the last red I had done. so long hair meaning, Extensions.. yes. NOTE: Extensions need to be ordered ahead of time, the hairstylist needs to look at your hair and from there on, you'll talk fullness, length, color, etc. Now I didn't know that, I walked into the first salon thinking they already had some on hand, but no... so I wanted them even more LOL Back to Lizz, she pretty much let me know exactly what I wrote on the 'note'. Understanding I responded with a thank you (sad tbh lol) BUT THEN she hits me with a store recommendation, where they sell extensions. I was like "I will drive there right now and get them if you can help me !" and she responds "yeah, I have some time after this client!" BAM! Sweet angel was making things happen for me! She had a solution, and recommendations to help a girl out. That should tell you a lot !! She matched my hair to my extensions as close as possible, but it ended up looking like I had pops of red in there, which turned out so much better! (I'll try to post pictures on here) Lizz really took care of my hair in all honesty, she was very comfortable to talk to as well. Everyone at that Salon was super kind. I'll be sure to make a future plan to get some new extensions with her and also new hair colors. 100% Satisfied with this location and their Hairstylists. and if you're reading this Lizz, THANK YOU. read more
