And Phil the owner isn't responding to my calls nor text messages. There was no responsible manager on site guiding the diggers so they took matters into their own hands. Foundation work was done while it rained all day leaving a muddy mess and dirt dug up wasn't able to be put back under home as it turned into clay. No compensation given for damage. Other companies do all of this as part of the job.

After following up with KBD after my review, I learned a few more things…read more KBD can act as full-service designer and general contractor, you can start from scratch with them and they'll measures design, and do ALL demo, installation, plumbing, electrical, countertops, etc. Because I was referred by my designer, they just quoted me cabinet installation. Which is exactly what I wanted, I saved SO much money by doing the rest msyelf. Also...I mentioned in my review that they quoted me one day for the whole process. They did not. I misread an email from them. They did not actually give me an estimated timeline for the project, but they told me you can expect about one day for every $1,000 of your quote. Just be sure to add a little extra padding on the end of that before you schedule your countertops to be measured.

Every time something was fixed, something else was messed up. Threw cigarette butts and trash in my yard, glued baseboards to my walls, paint and spackle / texture work was horrible and they got paint and stain on my new floors, new mirror and lights. They cut the cord to my septic tank pump on the side of my house and attempted to wire and tape it back together...never told me! Pump blew and had to be replaced - $600 I was told my cabinets were ordered months ago, only to find out they had never been ordered. I have been without a kitchen since March...only a plastic sink and a microwave. On not one occasion did Justin or any other GC came out when crews arrived - they were left here with me to manage - and, I do not speak Spanish! I could go on and on....they DO NOT deserve a 5 star rating - they are and this experience has been a complete nightmare They only care about money, not quality... He required 50% to begin work and after 6 months no where near that amount of work had been done - as he also had me purchase ALL materials.

They installed Belgard pavers in our backyard but the patio was way too high from the ground. They added a small step in one area to remedy the situation. We used their official work order numbers, documents, and IVR system, and our communication with them was consistent throughout the process. After the quote was declined, we were informed that internal issues within their company may have affected payment processing for certain vendors. We have documentation of these interactions, including recorded calls, but as of today, our invoice remains unresolved. Based on our experience, I would advise other vendors to request payment up front.
