Our family of four took advantage of the 1st visit package he offers that included a thorough discussion, exam and xray. He examined the results, listened carefully to each of us and explained his specific approach to get us all feeling better. Dr. J is truly fantastic. He genuinely cares for each and every one of his patients and their well being. I can eat peanut butter again! I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for about a year now and the care I have received has been absolutely wonderful. I have struggled my entire life from chronic back pain but 5 or so years ago I started having total numbness and severe pain in my right arm. After a visit to a family doctor I left feeling pretty hopeless that I would ever feel better. My first visit to ROOTS was completely different. We took x-rays of my neck and back and of course talked a lot about my life style, sports injuries, and things of that nature but also about things that might be going on all over my body that could be a sign of another troubled area (it turns out my left leg was longer then my right!). It was so refreshing for someone to take the time and talk with me about what might be going on. A year later thanks to a caring team of wonderful people my back continues to improve, my arm hasn't felt pain or numbness many months, and I'm also sleeping better than I ever have, BONUS!! My experience with Dr. Johnson and all of his staff has been top-notch! Dr. Johnson really cares about his patients overall well-being and is a hands on, personable, genuine care giver! My neck was in terrible shape; I was advised to get a few sets of neck injections. However, with Dr. J's care, advice and instructions for home exercise those neck injections are not necessary as of late.
